THE WORST haircut of my life. For the past 3 years I've had my hair cut 3 times all here. The previous 2 times, amazing. I got my hair cut last about 1.5 months ago and decided I wanted to go shorter. I told her I wanted it above my shoulders to my neck. All the same length all around with long layers. Sad part is is that I'm not exaggerating any of this. She sent me a home A MESS. I feel bad telling people I am unhappy, but this was honestly a joke. So I went back and told her to just even the back with the rest of my hair. She told me those are long layers, no ma'am that is a bad haircut. She cuts some then says there? My right side was shorted by an inch than the left side. She tilted my head to even it out, no I am not walking around like that. So I walk out with hair an inch above where I wanted my hair. I want to start off saying the end result was beautiful & my color turned out great. Getting there was where I had issues. The price was definitely a little steep for a full highlight and tone , no cut, at a non-high end salon. Don't let the advertised prices fool you. I paid over double the starting full highlight price and my hair is thin and just passed shoulder length with some previous coloring. It took over 1.5 hours to foil my hair.. I've never sat for foils that long before. I've had student stylists go faster. My hair was being pulled almost the whole time. When it came time to wash she got soap in my eye and water across half my face. He head handling skills at the bowl need some work. By the end I was there for about 3.5 hours and just wanted to leave. So if you don't care about the time or how you get to the color you want, I recommend because the results were great. However, if you're like me and getting your hair done is a treat and what an all around positive experience, I would look elsewhere. read more

Decided to take advantage of their 50% off facials special on a Wednesday. I came in around 11 and was quickly taken to the back. I wanted the 24k special, but the esthetician recommend I get the silver facial instead. Now, if you're expecting a spa like treatment/environment, this is not the place. However, for the price, you get a really good facial. She applied steam to my face during the cleanse and also did some extractions. My face definitely felt clean afterwards. The facials are normally $55, but with the special it's $27.50, which for a 45 minute facial is not bad. They offer different kinds of facial, and she'll recommend the best one after determining your skin needs. read more

I found this great salon on Yelp, after my regular cancelled my appointment, with no notice. I went on Friday afternoon, after booking appointment the same day. I got a hair trim, color, ($25 and $65) and eyebrow threading, (1st time!). The threading was $8. Several women came in just for that, while i was there. I was very pleased. Asifa, my stylist and salon owner, was wonderful. My hair was in dire need of some love. I was very pleased. My hair was shiny and bouncy! The color to cover my gray, was perfect. I had came in for a haircut. I had asked for them to not cut much off, because in the past that has been an issue where I ask for a certain amount cut off and the hair dresser will cut twice as much hair I had asked for. My hair cut is choppy, it looks like I could of cut my own hair. I have to do a blow out or curl my hair, to disguise how bad of a haircut it is. I had asked for a refund because I was very unhappy with my service, and they refused to and said that I could come in and get it fixed. Why would I come back to a place that did not listen to what I had asked for and cut more of my hair off to fix what they had already messed up the first time. All the reviews I saw on this place were for threading, so I decided to take a leap of faith and get my hair cut here because hair grows back and their prices are decent. Let me start with the cons which aren't too bad: 1. I would have liked if she did a little more scratching/scrubbing my scalp when shampooing my hair, but that's my preference. Some ppl don't like that but I do haha. 2. I wasn't a fan of how she blow dried my hair and styled it but that's also not a big deal because I wasn't looking for anything fancy and my hair straightens out as soon as I step outside anyways. Pros: I had Shamsa as my stylist and she was sooooo very sweet. She had a welcoming smile and was just overall pleasant, great service! Prices have actually increased from that picture that someone posted. My master cut/shampoo/style was $40 instead of $36. Which is still better than 55-80 for a haircut. Overall, if you're looking for a simple haircut I'd give this place a try if you're in the area. The service is good, prices aren't too bad, and all I wanted was to cut off 5-6 inches of my dead hair and that's what she did. This place was pretty good for the price basically. read more

This was my first time visiting! I came across this page looking for a nail salon.. I'm new to the area so I don't know where places are just yet! Shamsa did my threading! I normally do not thread I wax.. but I must say it was not painful and she was amazing! I will be returning for sure! I was expecting to pay about $12 but I only paid $7!! I decided to try this salon since I drive by all the time to and from work. Definitely not an upscale spa place but if your looking for a quick service this is an alternative. A bit pricey for a day without any discounts. Facial was $55. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The only issue I had was that they just kept trying to up sell me on other services and kept telling me to give them a 5 Star review. I personally think the service and products should be able to speak for themselves. She also tried to persuade me to make future appointments. She spoke to me all through my facial telling me all this which wasn't relaxing. The facial treatment she originally proposed was the pearl treatment but I had a allergic reaction and my face was burning. She immediately wiped it all off and switched to the silver facial. The treatment lasted about 45 minutes. She kept switching to different products such as witch hazel astringent. She was heavy handed massaging the the facial creams into my face. She kept pushing the cream into my eyes and up my nose which made it difficult to breath. Generally most facials I've received have stayed away from my eyes and eye lids. My eyes are still stinging after 24 hours. She gave a great shoulder massage but on my face she was rough like she was slapping my face the entire time. She took time to take my blackheads out but only focused on my nose and chin. After the face mask my face definitely felt cleaner. I also got threading done on my eyebrows and upper lip. She did an amazing job on my upper lip but on my eyebrows she thinned them out a lot, even though I told her I didn't want them too thin. She did a clean job on the eyebrows but if you want your eyebrows to stay thick, make sure you tell them. Overall this place is okay. I'm not sure if I would come back for another facial but I would come back to remove hair from my upper lip. read more

This business lacks professionalism and ethics. I came in at 1050am to do eyebrows. I was told it would be a 10 minute wait but it would be best to come back in 15 to 20 minutes. There was no one there. This lady was doing hair. So I left and came back at 1112. I was told I would have to wait after the 3 people waiting there by another lady who wasnt there during my 1st time there. I said no the other lady told me to come back. I am not waiting. She then proceeds to sit someone down as it should have been my turn. After 15 minutes of waiting and this rude lady taking a call I walked out at 1126. They are rude. The lady told me I should have made appointment for my return time. I am like she never stated that had she told me that I would have done that. Please don't patronize these people. Worst experience EVER!! I was new in town and needed my roots touched up and my haircut so I called and made an appt, for the following Saturday. They texted me twice to remind me of my appt. When I arrived Saturday I was told that they were sorry but the person who was suppose to cut my hair had not shown up yet so I would need to reschedule. Now they had my phone number, they couldn't call me before I went all the way there to tell me this?? I was not very happy but I rescheduled, I came back after work a couple days later and that turned out to be a big mistake! I told them I just needed my roots touched up and a cut. Nothing fancy. Well when they showed me my "touch up" my roots were pumpkin orange!!!! She tried to tell me that it matched and that all was good. My hair is light brown not orange. I finally talked her into redoing it. She was not very happy because it was getting late but she did redo it. Somehow she managed to redo it in about half the time because she was in a hurry to get home. Next came the haircut. That was an ever bigger disaster. She made a couple quick gouges in my hair and said she was done. I showed her pictures of how my hair was suppose to look and she assured me that it did. NOT!! She barely cut the back and it did not look anything like it should. Also she didn't even attempt to cut the top. My hair just had deep cuts in the side. I looked stupid. When I went to pay she charged me $45 for the root touch up when the price was posted was $30. She said it was $30 and up. Now my hair is short so even if it was $30 and up I do not think 50% more is reasonable for short hair and especially after the mess she had made. Next came the charge for the gouge session. She said it would be $25. Now it was suppose to be half price that day. You mean it was $50 for a horrific attempt at a haircut? WOW. I was there for 2 1/2 hours and now I have to go somewhere else and spend more money to fix what she did. After reading reviews on Yelp I decided to try out this place, since it's closer to home. Many reviews complimented Shamsa, so I called in advance to see if she would be available and set up an appointment for that same afternoon. I was not disappointed. I had my eyebrows threaded. Shamsa did an excellent job. She took her time and she didn't have a heavy hand which is always a plus. Upon arrival they took me in right away, since I did set up the appointment. While there about 6 other ladies walked in wanting services, so I guess seeing it's busy must mean they are doing something right. I'm glad I tried it out and from now on will be using Shamsa as my go to for threading and maybe try out their other services as well. read more

I am so happy that I found this place. Asifa, the salon owner, is amazing. This is my go to place for eyebrow threading. Asifa is very patient, gentle, and detailed when doing the threading. I recently also got a haircut there and was impressed. They definitely know what they're doing. They also have facials there (half off on Wednesdays), which I will definitely be trying soon. Definitely a good hair cut! I really just needed a trim to fix a bad hair cut I got somewhere else, but I was charged $25 (which is more than their hair cut and their trim price, but not by much). She give me a free blow dry for it being my first time, but otherwise she would have charged me $25. She did also style it. I'm not sure if she would have blow dried it without styling it had it not been my first time. If so, that would've been ridiculous because I've never been charged to have my hair blow dried, without a style, after it being cut. It needs to be dry to see if you like it. The staff was friendly and personable. I would definitely go back as long as I'm not charged for my hair being dried. (Also it's next to a yummy cupcake place!) read more

The lady that did my eyebrows really took her time, and she really payed close attention and did her best. I appreciate that because most people just rush through it and send you on your way. Asifa stylist/owner cut my short hair, and colored my roots. I have had very poor cuts from stylists the past year. She was very sweet and worked very hard to get it the way I wanted it, and get it shaped for the cut I wanted. She totally succeed in getting the job done right. Her prices are very reasonable compared to most salons. They offer a wide variety of services which I will try. I will certainly recommended her to my friends. The salon is very nice, neat and clean, close to my home, so that is a plus also. read more

I am VERY particular about my eyebrows and all who lay hands on them . I had my fingers crossed and prayers sent before walking in to 12/20. I went in last Thursday to get my hair cut. I just wanted to reshape my hair style wish was a bob with layers. The lady told me she could NOT do it. Didn't know how to do it. If you're going to work in a hair salon and do hair I advise you to get training on how to cut different type of styles. What a waist of my time. read more
