How and why didn't I know about this place sooner? That's what I asked myself after walking out the first time I dropped in. In the shopping center, it's a small location right next to the WalMart. I've come in multiple times and even when it's busy, the line moves quickly. There's usually one or two ladies working, but even if it's just one, the wait isn't too bad. Since Covid, they ask that only 3 people be seated in the waiting room at a time and require masks for entrance. They have a rewards system and give you a card to get signed after each visit. Come 10 times and on your 11th visit, it's free! Not too bad considering your paying under $10 to get your eyebrows threaded to begin with. Mine usually last for more than 3 weeks. I absolutely would NOT recommend this place to anyone who cares even a little bit about their eyebrows. This lady literally snatched a bald spot into one of my brows! And then stood there telling me it's a scar! I don't now nor have I ever had a scar on my brows. She wouldn't admit her mistake until another customer looked at it and told her that she'd indeed snatched a bald spot in my brow. DO NOT GO HERE. I've never met an eyebrow technician that managed to FUCK up my eyebrows with microblading. She couldn't follow the basic microblading shape and overthreaded. After I expressed to her this was my first time and I only wanted a cleaning with absolutely no shaping. Thank god I have microblading to hide the hatchet job, PINKY did. She threaded both my eyebrows in 2 mins. And I was the only client there...she had absolutely no reason to rush. She threads like she has a gun pointed to her head with someone saying "faster." I wouldn't let PINKY or anyone else in this run down, cockroach infested, establishment touch my eyebrows. Also, don't be fooled by the positive reviews. I am so happy I tried out this place today! I have been threading my eyebrows and upper lip for 8 years and I got the best service! My eyebrows look beautiful, not a single hair on upper lip (it happened before) and I had almost no pain at all. I couldn't believe it! I normally hold on to the chair and pray it ends fast, but today, I was no joke, relaxing in my chair. I forgot to ask the lady's name, but she told me it's owned by her and her sister and they are the only ones working there. Also they have 20 years experience with threading and just moved here from NYC. Did I mention their prices are great? And 5 minutes away from my house!! Arti does and incredible job with my brows. She always asks how you would like your brows done. She's also very gentle and quick. I have very sensitive skin when it comes to my face but my reaction to threading my brows isn't as bad when Arti does it. Currently due to COVID, they have temporary hours and open at 1PM, they also ask for you to call in to schedule an appointment because they don't allow more than 3 customers in the salon so they hate to have you wait in your car if there is a line of people. They're also cheaper ($8) than some other threading salons I've been to! If you're looking for a go-to brow lady, Arti is your girl! The ladies who own this place are eyebrow artists and have lots of experience. They always do a quick and efficient job on eyebrow shaping and cleaning. Sometimes when they are busy, they miss hairs. I have to get in the car, check in my mirror, and then go back inside and ask them to clean the missed ones and they will take care of it. I found this place during the 2019 holidays when I was in desperate need of eyebrow threading! I must say that I live within short distance of many threading places closer to West Houston but I will definitely drive the 22-25 minutes it takes me to get on I-10 and 99 to get to Thread and Shape since I'm always very content with the shape of my eyebrows! I will not recommend getting the cluster eyelashes. Arti did my lashes and the eyelash glue she uses has the lashes hard like bricks. I've gotten my lashes done numerous times (cluster and individual) by different lash techs and never have I experienced anything like this. I'm so afraid that all of my real eyelashes are going to come completely off once I attempt to remove the cluster lashes with oil. Granted, the cluster lashes look good but it's like they are super glued to my real lashes which is absolutely horrible. Yes the ladies are good at eyebrow threading but for eyelashes - if you want to keep your own beautiful lashes, I do not recommend getting them done here. read more

I went to get my brows threaded for my wedding tomorrow. I didn't even get to finish my sentence about my brows and she had me sit. She didn't even ask how I wanted my brows done and just started threading. I thought she only ripped skin off of my left eye, but Pinly ripped the skin off of both of my upper eyes. She was trying to do it super fast/aggressive and kept pinching skin with the brows. She would say hold it tight, but her doing it so fast, my fingers tangled in the thread. I asked Pinly to leave my brows as thick as possible expecting similar service to my prior experience. She left my brows pencil thin and then argued with me that they were thick.
