Visited Shelburne Vineyard a couple days ago and had an amazing experience! I came here with my partner to celebrate an anniversary and was met with excellent wine and even better service! Our servers, Ruby and August, are the main reasons I wanted to leave a review. They were knowledgeable, professional, and so much fun!! Never a dull moment with these two. Will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely loveliest time here. I came for a drink and some alone time, people watching, talking to strangers. I found myself being served by Ruby and August. Truly made my entire experience. Their conversation, expertise, and hospitality blew every expectation i had of the night out of the water in the best way possible.

Rainy day outing that was least expected. Enjoyed the Red wine flight, I'd say 2 out of 4 were to my liking. (Petite pearl & marquette) Paired the flight with charcuterie board. Good small size board that was sharable. Weren't bombarded with discussions of wine, was able to enjoy at my leisure and if I had questions, it was welcomed.

I don't tend to go to wineries in the United States unless in major wine growing regions, but we went to Shelburne Vineyard co-located with Eden Cider for what I could describe as a life changing experience on what types of wines Vermont puts out. Shelburne Vineyard is a distinguished winery located in Shelburne, Vermont. Known for its commitment to sustainable farming practices and the production of high-quality wines, Shelburne Vineyard has become a notable destination for wine enthusiasts in the region. They are co-located with Eden Cider, who in their own right are known for its dedication to traditional cider-making techniques and the use of local apple varieties. We had a HUGE Charcuterie and Cheese Platter paired with four amazing ciders and wines. Eden Foxwhelp Cider: A Bone Dry / Sparkling Cider 2021 IAPETUS Substrata: A Dry Light Barrel Aged Wine 2022 Shelbourne Vineyard Whimsey: A Dry Fruit Forward Meddow Rose 2021 Shelbourne Vineyard: A Dry Oak Aged Marquette Reserve - super complex and one of the best Marquette wines I have ever tried ____________

We had such a pleasant experience. It was so laid back. Great music and service. We did the lupine flight and the buttercup flight. The wines and ciders were great. We did the cheese plate for 2 with locally sourced cheese. They had board games available and corn hole outside.

We had a private educational tasting to celebrate my friends bachelorette party and we had a blast! Kate was the one who did the tasting and she was so knowledgeable and taught us about the wine making process, the history of the winery, the wine labels, how to pair foods and taste wine, etc. Kate was fantastic and I would recommend anyone to request her for a tasting! The wines and charcuterie boards were delicious as well! A must go place for any occasion!

Stopped here right after they opened on a Monday, we were the only one there. It's a cute little place with seating inside, outside and in a loft area. The view from the windows is of the vineyard. Staff were very nice and helpful. We both chose to do a flight of wine. There is several flight options to chose from and all have a theme from the show the office. You can also pick any combination of wines or cider. We also chose a local Brie and crackers to go with our flight. Wine and ciders were good, we even purchased a few bottles to go. In total the flight was $15 each and you got to keep the wine glass. They are also dog friendly!

We stopped at Shelburne Vineyard as part of a bachelorette trip. We were seated in the loft and luckily we were the only ones up there, so it felt very private which was nice. I tried the Kelly flight and enjoyed most of the wines except for the ice ciders. We also got all of the meat and cheeses from the menu and we really enjoyed the goat cheese crumble.

First winery my wife and I hit in the area. We enjoyed it very much along with cheese and crackers that we purchased. Nice to sit on the patio and look at the mountains and small vineyard. I enjoyed watching the sheep eat the weeds. Service was very good. We booked our time on-line using the local app (not opentable).

After looking at the very attractive displays showcasing each product made at the Distillery, my daughter and I opted to share a tasting. We chose the Moroccan Rose and Grapefruit Flavored Vodka to start and I loved the distinct fruity taste without the sugary sweetness. Next was the Maple Gin, which was lovely as well. Our server told us she likes to mix it with muddled blueberries and ginger beer for a refreshing summertime mule, and I agree that does sound delicious. Our third taste was the Bourbon Maple Cream Liquor, which was so delicious, and we finished the tasting with the Maple Cram Liquor, which was smooth, sweet, and went down very easily. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the store - everything was sparkly clean and shining. The layout of the displays was so attractive. We will definitely stop there again on our next trip to VT.

Our hostess was very informative about all of the spirits and very appreciative of each of her customers. She talked a bit fast but that's understandable in the environment, it's busy!! We each did a tasting, the special tasting and the regular, so we got to try almost everything! Our cabinet and fridge got a few new additions with the canned vodka sodas and a single barrel. I highly recommend a stop and a tasting of the Hopped Gin, whether you're a gin drinker or not!! We visited in August 2024.

Without knowing what are we going into we decide to do the full tasting that includes all the wines. Note the tasting is not complimentary. Pours are not extremely generous, but absolutely sufficient to sense the bouquet of the wines and decide to buy some. Our big disycovery is the straw wine, the owner would explain in details the process of preparing it during the tasting. There are three of them produced by Le Chat Botté, they are on the sweet side, but rich and extremely aromatic. As we sip I build a vision about foie gras and the amber straw wine. We leave with three bottles of different types, one of them will be indeed consumed later at home with mousse de foie gras and strong cheese, and believe me it was amazing. The straw wines cost 40 cad the bottle (35 cad if you buy two), but they are the absolute treat and worth buying. Beautiful discovery and strongly recommended to visit!

Some of these places I have yet to try, so this was an excellent introduction. (I also had six-course dinner event to attend later in the evening, so I didn't overdo it in order to save real room for dinner). So many amazing food options from as far as Quebec City (#LaPlanque), #NewEnglandFudge, #Fortuna'sSausage to local fare (#TheBeardedFrog, #LaPanciata, #MorseBlockDeli, #SimplePebble, #Butch&Babes, #HaymakerBunCompany, #Henofthewood, #HoneyRoad, #BleuNortheastSeafood, #Junction/TheTavernatEssex,#OurHouseBistro, #PascoloRistorante, #PizzeriaVerita, #Lu.luIceCream, #LuluPoufs, #SistersofAnarchyIceCream, #SweetBabu, #E.B.Strong, #VermontCheeseCouncil, #Hatchet, #StewartsBakery). There was also amazing cheeses from #Cabot, #VermontCheeseCouncil, #SpringbrookFarm and #BridportCreamery as well as breads from #LaPanciata, #Klinger'sBreadCompany and #Stewart'sBakery. I did not try one item that I disliked. That said, these were some of the ones that really stood out for me. I loved the vegan BLT sliders with house smoked eggplant bacon, microgreens, heirloom tomato and basil aioli on a locally baked bun from The Bearded Frog. It was the best local vegan eggplant "bacon" I have tasted (not too tough and the right flavor). Pascolo's Ristorante homemade gnocchi was amazing. Light, airy pillow of decadent potato pasta with Italian Sausage, smoked mushrooms, and a delightful sauce of tomato and basil sauce with parmigiano cheese. Drool-worthy. The cheesecake dipped strawberries from Morse Block Deli and Taps was innovative and delicious. Their other offerings, such as Schwarma bites, rare beef and smoke turkey deli meat were tasty, too. E.B. Strong's medium rare tenderloin bites with crostini were equally delicious. Pizzeria Veritá's traditional brick oven Margherita Pizza was spot on, oozing with fresh mozzarella and a perfect tomato sauce. Blue North Seafood's Starbird Salmon Tartare on an Everything Bagel Crostini with Cured Egg Yolk and Mottra Caviar was phenomenal. I loved the myriad of savory flavors on the palate. Hatchet's Twelve-Hour Smoked Boyden Farm Brisket with Pickleback Slaw was also very good. Our House's Famous Award-winning Clam Chowder topped with deep fried clam belly was delicious. Honey Road's Sweet Harissa Chicken Wings were to die for. La Planque had an inventive Gravlox with caviar, seaweed yogurt. It's a place I'd definitely eat at in QC. Sisters of Anarchy's ice creams were inventive flavors. I tried the Dirty Anne (yellow Anne raspberries with a light chocolate base) and Chocolate Anarchy (dark chocolate). Both were pretty good, but not as rich as I would have expected in terms of flavors. It may have been because the portion was just a taster spoon size, so I would like to give them a try at their actual establishment. In terms of ice cream richness, I really enjoyed the scoops from Lulu's: Dark Horse (chocolate ice cream spiked with Chambord liqueur and cake chunks) and Midsummer Night's Dream (vanilla bean ice cream with bourbon soaked cherries and chocolate chunks). The wine and spirit offerings were varied as well. #VermontDistillers, #Foliofinewine, #ChristoperImports, #Onwardwines, #SILODistillery, #RunamokMaple, #DedalusWine, #AstralTequila, #EcoValleyImports, #CellarsatJasperHill, #Brick&MortarWines, #CarloHubertSelections, #BonhomiewineImports, #KyselaPèreetFils, #MontinoreEstate, #LoosenBros, #Bow&Arrow, #Birichino, #Alphabox&Dice, FolktaleWineGroup, #CaledoniaSpirits, #M.S.Walker, #MassnoisImports, #JustinVineyardsandWinery, #KivelstadtCellars, #OpiciWines, #OakRidgeWinery, #AppalachianGapDistillery, #SobonWine, #ThreeWineCompany, #SmugglersNotchDistillery, #TerroirWineGroup, and #Vine Connections I did not drink much, but I really enjoyed Ethica's Italian wines and Metcalfe's liqueurs were amazing. Raspberry tasted like the best berries off the bush, the blueberry was velvety rich. There was also a silent auction to raise money for #ChittendenEmergencyFoodShelf, cooking and wine demo sessions, wares from #kissthecook and knives from #HammerStahl. #SommerChiropratic was there to talk about their services, too. Live music all day and evening kept the place hopping. All of this took place right on Lake Champlain with a spectacular view of the water, including a special VIP lounge with white leather sofas and chairs. I highly recommend this annual event to anyone who enjoys good food and spirits. The price of admission is well worth the experience. I intend to partake in the future as well.

We figured there would be no way we'd need 4 hours to go through everything... Boy were we wrong. Next year we will be getting there promptly at the start time. We purchased tickets in advance through the Flynn Box Office- smart idea as it was cheaper! You arrive, they cross your name off the list, give you a wristband, and a little bag of goodies- a token good for one entree from a local restaurant's booth, a list of all the wines featured, an order form in case you want to purchase any of the wines, and your tasting glass. Once inside, we realized that there was no way we'd make it through all the wines. Unlimited tastes from 30 booths featuring between 5 and 7 wines each? Recipe for an excellent afternoon or a disaster. We quickly determined that our best plan of attack was to have a look at the full wine list and select the most expensive red and rose wines (neither of us love whites). This was an excellent decision. We tried probably 25 different wines we would never ordinarily be able to afford. After feeling pretty tipsy, we hit the table filled with local cheeses and breads (free and not included as foods you have to pay for with a token). The cheeses were incredible and gave us a list of places to try as we work our way through the Vermont food scene. We then went to the tent to taste one of the booths of food. We picked Bluebird for their phenomenal looking lobster roll- totally delicious and worth it, though maybe a little too much bread. If I could have done things differently, I would have bought tickets for the evening session, arrive promptly, and buy an extra token, so that I could start and end at the food booths and get two meals out of it. This is definitely an event I'll repeat next year!
