This is my kinda place. A great cultural experience. Music fills the air. Small mom and pop places that could use your business. I saw delicious produce, beautiful plants and cool shirts and jewelry. Many of the outside and inside booths were selling animals, which is normal but they were horribly neglected, being left outside in 90 degree heat with no food or water for poultry that need it to survive. Not to mention they looked abused. I used my water I brought for myself to fill the animals bowls which is a temporary solution but the best I could do. Some SERIOUS investigation needs to be done as this was the case for many booths, whom I told their animals needed water and they straight refused to give it to them or claimed they didn't know English (after I overheard them talking to other customers in English). Would not reccomend the inside booths either unless you want resold household items or cheaply made dresses (or stolen/ "thrifted" hardware and tools). read more

Plenty to choose from. Came on a Sunday a little before 10am and a lot of their sections were not open. Doors open at 9am but like stated alot of the sections were closed at the time we arrived. They have restrooms (not sure of the condition), area where you can sit down and eat, they have a jewelry repair area and some clothing areas have a fitting room. They have plenty of vegetables as well. The only thing that I couldn't stand was some parts of the flea market had a very strong cigarette smell and than I finally seen an individual smoking inside the building. I can't stand cigarettes and most definitely would not purchase anything that has a cigarette smell on it. That's the only reason for the three stars. Other than that, I really like how a lot of the booths were organized. They even had prom dresses and alot of clothes for the kiddos. Reminds me off court day except everything is inside. The area is pretty big and can be a little confusing on where to enter if it's your first time. You can enter through any door that says 'Enter' because towards the back, the entire building is connected. Also, some things may be a little pricey but you may not find those styles anywhere else. read more

They have so many amazing things! Some may be a little expensive some may not but it's all worth it for sure! the quality in every thing they have is amazing. They have so many selections that you can see, jewelry, clothes, purses etc... and the service is amazing too. Each people will ask if you are searching for something or if you need help. This is the most disgusting place I've ever been in my entire life. There is not one redeeming feature about the entire flea market. * The building is old and dilapidated. I felt like at any minute, the foundation was going to compromise underneath me, the walls were going to collapse, and leave me stranded under 6 tons of sheet metal. * I liken the smell of the building to what you'd expect to find in a bathroom after Satan had just finished defecating the remnants of a weekend-long bender of spicy chicken wings, pizza, hot dogs, and sauerkraut, and then he tried to mask the smell by lighting some awful potpourri incense. * Don't eat food from the concession stand. I'm begging you. * There is nothing to offer. The booths are filled with old clothes, old tools, junky CDs, juice for people that vape, and a place to get t-shirts airbrushed. A miserable place. Not nearly as bad as others make it out to be. It definitely wasn't one of the better flee markets but the people and vendors were nice and very inviting. We got there as soon as they opened, so not all vendors were there but there was still enough to be enjoyable. My biggest gripe here was the confusion of finding the entrance, which apparently it has a few. There is no door or section that says entrance, which is frustrating because we drove a full circle around the place looking for one until we decided to just open a door and boom, the flea market. I didn't try the food but the chicken looked incredible, maybe ill take one for the team and try out the concession foods next time.. read more

Many, many, many years ago, this was a bustling flea market with handmade craft, antiques, furniture and quirky odds and end. I came today expecting something like Nascar items or tube socks. It was worst than that. It was junk, used clothes and trash. The air is filled with smoke and cooking oil. I wouldn't eat in the "food court". The dumpster behind KFC would be cleaner than this place. DO NOT Come here. This place is so gross. My hair and clothes smelled like the smoke, trash and oil when we left. If you were thinking about getting a "southern pride" item, fake leather boots, "smoking" pipes, or hepatitis from the tattoo shop, you might be in luck. If you were looking for nice items, you made a big mistake coming here. read more

This flea market has everything and everybody. America at its finest. There are antique booths in the A building and F building, a large bird booth that has supplies and services in building B, Amish furniture, books, and so much more. There are tools and clothing, perfumes and just about anything you can think of in there. The food in the cafeteria is great also. The chicken booth is always super busy and the other food vendors are great too. Especially breakfast. Good home cooked food. There will be a lot of great Christmas gift ideas. read more

Back in the day, this place use to be a location that I would frequent. I have a Double Crested Golden Amazon Parrot and there is a "Bird Lady" there that trims nails and wings and beaks. The Bird shop also sells foods, toys, and treats for my lil feathered friend. It has been a long time since I stopped in here to be honest. This weekend some friends and fellow Yelpers stopped in here to kill some time on the way home. All I have to say is...After we left here, I feel like I need a shower. The place literally stunk. There was lots of trash and a lot of items that I swear someone dug out of a dumpster. The people were loud. Something from the food court had a burned grease smell that filled the air. My "Bird Lady" was still there, but since I no longer have my bird there was no need to stop in. When I left here, I really needed a shower. I also need to burn my clothes. I will no longer stop in here. I don't know how the vendors here make a living. Sad read more

I went to the flea market yesterday to get a bird the bird lady was very very helpful along with just people who go there all the time,she set my cage up for me gave me a reasonable price I bought a green cheek conure I really had my heart set on a parrot or macaw but simply fell in love with the guy who had his cockatoo's they were very sweet and entertaining.I will defiantly buy with her.She is looking for me a big bird hopefully a baby cockatoo thank you bird lady I didn't catch your name.But didn't go through the fest of flea market. read more

I have been going to this flea market for 30 years. Over the years it has had many changes, in vendors, and staff. Over all it is still the largest and best flea market in this area. I can usually always find what I need at one of the booths. read more

Not what I was expecting at all !!!! I was thinking I would see a country flea market with antiques and hand made artisan items. NOPE!! As soon as I walked in the door they were blasting Hispanic music with huge speakers. Many booths with Hispanic items filling 75 % of the market if not more. Unfortunately you had to walk through to find shops with antiques scattered in between the Hispanic items, They should have those shops on one side of the market so as not to disrupt the quiet peaceful shops with their music blasting. !! Oh my JESUS! Where do I start with this, oh yeah! IT SUCKS DIRT LIKE A VACCUM CLEANER! The annoying Hispanic music is blasting so loud, I actually had to cover my ears! Bajebus! There are too many toys! The funny car king toys they sell: are knockoffs of Mattel's Cars toys. Knockoffs of Goldlok's toy train range plague the market as well. The only good part about this place are the birds, in fact, one of the birds said hello to me. But not even a parrot can make me like this place... they sell more junk than EVER! The outdoor booths are mediocre. The mustard on this burger, well I did find vintage toy trains there, but they are the only good things they sell in this market. Don't be fooled by their website! This place is more like the Shotty, Crappy, Fart Junkyard! If your looking for more sweet deals, go to the Awesome Flea Market, the Shop Of Shops, and the South Louisville Antique and Toy Mall than this junkyard. read more
