Instead of trying to update it, they decided to completely tear ot down and start over. That was a very wise decision because this gas station is ON POINT!! Before the changes there were only 2 gas pumps. Now there are 6 (or 8...I forgot that quickly)! Everything is nice and clean and it's a lot more spacious inside. There's even nice clean bathrooms inside. I couldn't be happier about the changes they made to that old, smelly, rundown excuse for a gas station they had before! Now.... if only they would do something about the, Auto Zone, Family Dollar, Church's Chicken, some of those other rundown businesses, and that broken sidewalk in that area, THEN that whole neighborhood would be a lot better!

How many people are usually hungry when they stop for gas? Well, after you pump petro & disinfect your hands, go grab you some fresh, grilled BBQ'd Burgers, Chicken, Ribs & Polish Sausages with Baked Beans/Mac & Cheese as Sides. W/O tipping you get a heap of meat & veggies for $16 & less. I never go inside when I come here for gas, yet I made my way in this time. Inside this run down matchbox is a muffled & welcoming attendant behind the protection glass. He actually supports the BBQ'ers on his property which is a nice gesture for a foodie entrepreneur. & if you're not in the mood for BBQ, you can partake in the Food Truck that offers Philly Cheese Steaks & more that's posted up in front of the gas station during the week. I'll keep driving 6 miles past a relative's house to take advantage of the "cheaper" gas.

While 14th Street is the main thoroughfare in this neighborhood, this business has a Center Street address. The attached convenience store is known as Center Street Food Mart. The gas station is compact with only six pumps. They've got the fairly new ExxonMobil Synergy branding on them. ExxonMobil launched its Synergy suite of fuels in 2016 to compete with brands like Shell V-Power. These premium gasoline brands are supposed to provide benefits like better gas mileage, lower emissions, improved engine protection, and better performance. That's how they're advertised and marketed, at least. I've never experienced this myself or if I have, I haven't noticed. My Volkswagen, which is 20+ years old and has over 260,000 miles on it, has consumed mostly QuikTrip premium unleaded over its lifetime. I still use the car as my daily driver and the original engine still runs great. QuikTrip uses Top Tier gasoline and so does ExxonMobil. I think ExxonMobile uses more additives and other things. I don't think this gas station has the cheapest gas in the vicinity, but the prices aren't unreasonable. The pumps are clean and the entire property feels tidy and safe. It's just small (which isn't a bad thing) and that includes the corner store. I used pump #6 and it was in very good condition. A video played while I pumped and my receipt printed out clearly. There were plenty of good-quality paper towels (better than QT quality) in the dispenser attached to the trash can. The trash can had a fresh, unused bag in it. This station serves the common three grades of unleaded + diesel.

Because it is close to my house I MAY have sacrificed and paid their over the top prices for everything but the cashier at the front has the worst attitude I have ever seen. In an effort to keep this PG I will not quote her directly. She was doing a million things while I was waiting in line (there were 2 registers at the front, 1 line) and the guy behind me put his stuff on the counter and she reached for it. I asked" oh you are open?" she proceeds to ask me if i can read. I was confused by this and how it was relevant so she gives me a neck snap and points to the cash register she thinks supposedly says "open". I inform her it is blank. She gives me more attitude and asks the guy behind me if it says open or not (she thinks I'm lying??). He says leave him out of this. She tries to grab whats in my hand and I said I'm going to the next check out as I did not want her serving me. She then grumbles and curses under her breath until I leave. I laughed throughout. It still left a very bad taste in my mouth because I honestly have never seen anyone act this way unprovoked (that's not on some sort of mind altering drink/drug). Once outside, the guy behind me in line says she often does this and has favorites. Thats ridiculous and management needs to get on that. You cant charge premium prices and then treat your customers like dirt.

Being a fan of the QuikTrip brand and having lived in this neighborhood since 2001, I thought this…read morerelatively-new QT at the corner of Northside Drive (41) and 10th Street NW was going to be great. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I'll still be filling up here due to its proximity to my home, but I can only rate this QT three Yelp stars ("OK") at this time. This QT opened in late 2020. Already, it's more well-worn, vandalized, and littered than metro Atlanta QTs that are years older. Simply put, for a chain like QT, which sets the standard, it's disappointing. This QT needs more TLC. Then again, it's only one of currently a small handful of QTs actually *inside* Atlanta city limits so maybe the "rapidly-deteriorated" state of this QT speaks more to the neighborhood than the company. Those familiar with this stretch of Northside are probably aware of the homeless population that have set up camps nearby. Just because this lot was bulldozed to make way for a new QT doesn't mean the property is immune. This corner used to be occupied by Oasis Spa, J&J Auto Repair (relocated to East Point), and Paint Genius (body shop, relocated to Smyrna). This is QT store #805. It has 16 pumps. The next-closest QT is store #832 on Howell Mill Road, just 1.5 miles / about five minutes north. Both of these Westside / West Midtown QTs are relatively new and typically busy and congested. The Howell Mill location opened over two years prior to this location, in March 2018. Construction began for this location in Spring 2020 and it was open for business before the end of the year.
