This place is a dump and it's littered with homeless people everywhere. Meow personally I don't give a crap about them and it's well known that area is where they stay and it's Santa Ana so I'm not surprised and i have met a few of the younger kids there and they are mostly just strung out and hanging out . Nothing to worry about but I get why the owners don't like it . They gather in huge groups around the property at night which obviously makes the lady that works there on that shift nervous as she will set off the loudest alarm to try and scare them away. It blares over a loud system and sounds like a high speed cop chase! When you stay in the nearby hotels on Hotel Terrace Rd. you have to listen to it all night long and it's ridiculous. Obviously since it's Santa Ana the cops aren't gonna do anything about the homeless people but come on the stupid alarm isn't working! Have some respect for the people who are overpaying for a shitty hotel that advertises themselves as four stars but is more like two, If that. We are already getting screwed- at least let us get some rest . read more

What's special about this gas station? The fact that they use tokens when you use the restroom, if your lucky you might have a flashback and find yourself back in your teenage years when we used to play arcade games with tokens. Unfortunately, other than that, this is just another gas station with hot food choices and most normal things you would expect to see at a gas a station. This Shell is stocked like a mini travel center, giving it a different look and feel from the quid-pro-quo gas station we all see on ever other block. Besides the tokened bathroom... they have a complete car wash equipped with vacuums cleaners. Always convenient to knock out two birds with one stone. My "real" recommendation is to prepare and get electric vehicles because gas prices will be going up even more in the next year or two. So be ready because it's coming. Yeah, I'm rating a gas station...I come here to fill up and get car washes. I have gotten stuck in this car wash twice...I don't know if it's just me not following directions properly honestly, but it has scratched the paint of my new car which sucks. So beware. The mini mart inside is well stocked and there's also a subway. For a gas station Subway...it's not that bad, although Subway is low tier fast food. This lot is great with several food options, a market, car wash, car maintenance, and marijuana dispensary. You can get a lot done at once....as long as you don't get stuck in the car wash. Hehe. This car wash can barely be called a car wash because my car was still dirty after buying the PREMIUM car wash. There are spots all over my hood and roof and There's still dirt marks on my windows. This is the poorest job at a car wash that I have ever received. I highly recommend NOT using this car wash if you want your car to actually get washed and come out clean. Very disappointed in the result, especially because I bought the car wash that was supposedly the most expensive and highest quality. 0/10 for result. I was looking for a self service 24hr car wash around Irvine tonight & happened to spot this place on my way home. They have a nice spacious self service vacuum area & one of those 2 min automatic car washes (ones where ur stationary & the brushes move around ur car, instead of ur car moving down a longer track). Now this where my issue is...There's 3 options outlined in a sign in plain view ($6 basic, $8 w/rain-x & stuff, $9 the works). So I pick the $6 wash which includes: "wash & scrub, rinse, wax, Polish".... Sounds like a simple wash right? No bc during the wash I notice that I don't see any soap suds. I go inside & inquire after the wash & I'm told that yes that option doesn't come with soap. Now I'm confused bc 1)I've never heard of a car wash option that doesn't include soap, unless it actually says "just a rinse" & 2)in my opinion the description is written in a way that sounds like it uses soap. Altho the young guy in the store area was nice he says "oh a lot of people complain about that"..... Really? And ur boss continues to keep it like this? Clearly in hopes that after spending $6 on a no soap wash, the customer will spend $8 or $9 more to go again & get the other option that includes soap. Which is terrible service. This location blows so apparently their is only one guy that can do the purchases of gift cards I buy these for people as gifts like evry 2 weeks from here r Arco. Anyway I got a $25 gift card after 10 mins. The rep. Goes idk how to do these and calls another guy on cell with myself and a line tht had formed at this point. I returned in the am and one guy was able to do the gift card correctly or he asked if I just wanted my $25 bucks cash back.
