There was a line of cars behind me, guy helping us just told me to initial a couple spots and we moved on. I put the date in my phone so my daughter knew what date the month would expire. Noticed two months later a new charge came through on my card... immediately reached out. After looking into it, realized I'd been charged two more times. No worries, contacted the vendor cause companies are usually helpful when things like this happen. Nope, not these guys... they were basically like, sorry NOT sorry. Even though my daughter only went one more time because she said the wash DID NOT EVEN GET HER CAR CLEAN, so she didn't bother going again. I explained that we didn't know it was a recurring subscription, I had asked to sign up for the month, there was such a long line of cars waiting, the guy didn't tell me anyyyy info other than giving me the form and the spots to mark (why wouldn't that be the first thing they say????)... but I guess I should have paused and read the fine print. True, that's my bad, but I guess I'm too trusting in a local vendor? Especially when I stated I just wanted to sign up for the month... not indefinitely. They did offer to extend the car washes for two months, but given the fact that my daughter's car barely got clean AND there are several reviews about cars being scratched, I'd rather eat the money and support another local business. I basically paid, $87 for two mediocre car washes, 4 unhelpful customer service emails and a whole waste of my time.

The waiting area has A/C and plenty of seating for everyone waiting (it's a pretty busy place, for good reason!). Also some tables outside with umbrellas. Lots of drinks and snacks to tempt you as well while you wait. Overall, this is the place to get your car taken care of. The price was not reflective of the quality of the service. I was expecting too notch service and was very disappointed. They tried to sell me a monthly subscription and I am so glad I didn't get it. I don't recommend getting a basic car wash here. To be fair, I have only been here once and haven't tried their other services.

After a decade of paying for this service, I expected that when a legitimate concern came up, it would at least be handled professionally and followed through to a conclusion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at the Costa Mesa location. I went through this car wash, and the following day I noticed a crack in the upper portion of my windshield. I contacted the location and spoke with the manager, Cynthia. She asked me to bring the vehicle in so the damage could be documented. I did exactly that. The vehicle was inspected and an official incident report was completed that specifically lists the incident as "Cracked windshield." I was then told that I would receive a phone call regarding the matter. That call never came. After waiting approximately a week, I contacted the location myself. Rather than receiving an update, I was told I needed to bring the vehicle back again. This was confusing considering I had already made a trip specifically to show them the damage, had an incident report completed, and had been told someone would contact me. Unfortunately, shortly afterward my vehicle experienced an unrelated transmission failure and was undrivable for approximately a month while I waited for the necessary repairs. Once the vehicle was operational again, I returned to the car wash as requested. Cynthia was not there, so I spoke with another employee. Once again, I was told that I would receive a phone call. Once again, nobody called. This is now the second time after a month. At this point, my frustration is less about whether Fast5 ultimately accepts or denies responsibility and more about the complete lack of follow-through. If the company believes it isn't responsible, then tell me that. If the incident requires investigation, then investigate it and communicate the result. What isn't acceptable is asking a customer to make multiple trips, documenting the damage on an incident report, repeatedly promising a follow-up, and then simply not responding at all. The photos attached to this review document the windshield damage from multiple angles, including close-ups from inside and outside the vehicle. I've also included photos from the car wash itself and the incident report completed by the location documenting the cracked windshield. I normally used the Fullerton location, where I originally signed up, and I remained a customer for roughly 10 years. That's what makes this especially disappointing. Fast5 isn't losing a decade-long customer simply because there was a dispute over a windshield. They're losing a decade-long customer because when something went wrong, nobody could be bothered to give that customer an answer. After approximately 10 years of membership, I'm canceling. And based on my experience, if you notice damage after using this location, take pictures immediately, document everything, keep copies of the paperwork, and don't assume that filing an incident report means someone will actually follow up with you.

I went with 20% XPEL XR Black on my 2026 Mercedes AMG GLE 53 to match my car and the tint looks incredible. The color blends almost perfectly with the OEM factory privacy glass giving the vehicle a clean, factory-installed appearance. One thing I really appreciate is their pricing. The quote they give you is the price you pay no extra charge for using a credit card, no surprise taxes added at the end and no hidden fees. Called our local MB dealer only to be told that I would have to drop off the car for them to diagnose even though I explained in detail what happened. They wanted $325 just to diagnose the issue. That is when I remembered seeing videos on IG of Star Motor Werks and reached out. Geoff responded within 15 minutes and penciled me in the following week. Decided to make the drive down to Star Motor Werks simply due to the fact that they'd make a new key using OEM parts at an affordable price (compared to a MB dealer). They even loaned me their shop car so that I wouldn't have to wait around as I needed to run a few errands. Couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism provided by Geoff and RJ. Would happily drive an hour and half in the future should I need any major maintenance done on our MB. Glad their vids popped up on my IG feed as they are truly knowledgeable and trustworthy.

He got the paperwork done quickly while I waited in his office. They also had the loaner (a 2026 model with only 4000 miles!) waiting for me on the lot. The waiting room was gorgeous, sparkling clean, and well-stocked with snacks and beverages. Laura followed up later after I left. She also sent a video of my car to my husband phone, then mine, once the technician started to check the car in. Laura stayed in touch and updated on the status of the car, which was done by noon the next day. Pickup was smooth, and Laura pleasantly assisted throughout the whole process. I also wanted to thank David for his assistance and his pleasant demeanor. This dealership is first class and top notch on their service. My car was also washed and spotless when I picked it up. Receptionist could have been a bit more welcoming though. Thank you everyone for the phenomenal experience.

I have never felt the urge to criticize a place I have found via yelp, until now. In fact, I created an account just to post this review. I am absolutely appalled with this place. I took my 2-month old car here to get a wash/wax, and was expecting wonderful results based on the # of positive yelp reviews. Little did I know that bringing my vehicle here would be the worst mistake possible. I paid $90 for an exterior wash/wax/buff For one, their "wash" isn't a complete wash. My car's wheels/rims hadn't even touched water, and the dust that had settled on the rims from 2 months of driving remained untouched. How hard is it to hose the wheels down? An absolute shame this place is... I've received a much better wash job for $12 at my local car wash. The wax job here is horrendous. Swirls and scratch marks were observed in multiple locations on my new car, following their shitty handling. These guys have absolutely no care for your vehicle. To top it off, the car was presented to me after with a bunch of wax stuck in every possible nook and cranny - in the window sill ledges, door cracks, trunk cracks, headlights (and I'm not talking small pieces of wax - i'm talking huge chunks). I pointed out to the owner that the wax bits were all over the place and needed to be cleaned up, to which he responded "bring it back next time and we'll blast it all out". What the fuck? This place is an absolute scam. I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from, but you can rest assured that I won't be coming back, and I highly recommend that you stay away as well if you have any respect for your vehicle. read more

This place is great. Prices are right in line with what you pay elsewhere but the comparative value is... well there is none. Simply put, they provides impeccable results without misses. The employees take pride in their work and truly enjoy what they do and, in my experience, this is almost always a result of the teams leadership. In this case, that guy is named Vic. Vic is a genuine standup guy and often works hand in hand with his crew. He genuinely loves what he does and it shows and that is why his team performs at levels that they do. I'm not sure what all of the prices are but I get the wash and it costs me $20 & tip. I remember one visit when picking up the car there was $60 laying on the dash. When I inquired Vic said "yeah one of the guys found it under a seat while cleaning." Three things stood out to me from the one statement; 1. The way he said it. This guy is honest through and through and so are his guys. 2. Never before has anyone at a car wash hand me cash they found in the car. 3. They actually clean under the seats! Bottom line is; It's convenient, 30 seconds from the northbound 405 South Coast exit its literally in the parking structure as you round the bend on the exit ramp come a stop then two quick right turns and your there. Vic usually greets you personally or, time permitting, will pick up and return your car to you for free. read more

So I've quite busy with work and haven't had time to wash my car. Keep in mind that my car is black and to top it off, it's a Nissan/Infiniti. The reason why I point that out is because Nissan/Infiniti are notorious for there paint. It is very very weak and sensitive. And it being black doesn't help, making it vulnerable to scratches and spider marks. So I decided to Yelp as usual and ran into this spot. I'm new to the Irvine area so Yelp usually helps with suggestion, and this time is was excellent. I came to this location and didn't have to explain the paint situation. I've always hand washes the car with a waterless technique but just have had time. I dropped the car off at around 3:00pm and received it back at 4:30pm exactly what was estimated. Vic I believe was his name was very personable when arriving. He took my name down gave me a timeframe and I was off. I came back and the car was spotless. He even took it outside in the light to show me more detail on the car. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. He does it with passion for the job. Go here! You will not be disappointed. It's my go-to car wash/detailer now. My first experience with this establishment sealed the deal for me. My mom was in town for Mother's Day and the state of my car was appalling to her. We were running errands and were hoping to get my car taken care of at the same time. At about 3:45 pm I found this place via yelp. I called and he said bring it ASAP and they'd do what they could with the hour they had left. (They close at 5) i didn't have very high expectations because I knew it was in pretty bad shape and they only had an hour. I dropped the car off at 4 and walked around metro point with my mom, I went back at 4:45 to pick up my car and was SOO impressed. They did waxing on the outside and cleaned the inside better than any other place ever has. In only AN HOUR. I will only bring my car here from now on. Not only because I live across the street, but because they're friendly, helpful and so affordable. I've payed over 250$ to have my car thoroughly cleaned inside and outside and was never fully happy with how it looked. I payed only 95$ before tip here and I can't express how happy I was with the service. This is the place to go to get an excellent hand car wash! Vic and his crew know how to make your car look spotless and show room quality. I have been going here since I purchased my 435i in May and refuse to go elsewhere because I am very picky when it comes to trusting people with my car. Vic and and his crew never rush a car wash no matter how clean or dirty the car. They take there time and get the job done right.Never once have I seen a streaky window or water spots. I highly recommend Unique Car Wash and Auto Detailing. I brought my car in after experiencing severe water leakage from a sunroof issue which had soaked the carpet. Vic, the owner, immediately recognized that the seats would need to be removed and the carpet dried from underneath / aired out to fully address the problem. He explained it very well and said it was a problem he'd delt with many times before. I had previously received quotes from other shops that were double Vic's price, and they only planned to vacuum the water and apply heat from the top leaving the padding still wet. I was amazed at the difference when I arrived here and knew I would be in good hands. Not only did they fully dry the carpet, but my entire car was washed and shining like new (as seen in the photos). The full interior and exterior I wasn't even expecting and the price was extremely reasonable. If you've made it to the end of this review as someone who doesn't normally write these I'd suggest trying them at least once you won't be disappointed! Just note they only accept cash. read more

Outstanding service -- car looks brand new I had an excellent experience with Unique Hand Wash and Auto Detailing and couldn't be happier with the results. My vehicle was covered in paint overspray from nearby construction, and on top of that, there were scratches left behind from an attempted removal. I was honestly worried the paint and clear coat were permanently damaged. From the moment they inspected the car, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They were able to safely remove all of the paint overspray and address the scratches, and the end result was incredible. My car looks brand new -- truly like it just rolled off the lot. The finish is smooth, spotless, and restored without any damage. The attention to detail, professionalism, and care they put into the work really stood out. They took the time to do it right and didn't cut any corners. I'll absolutely be coming back here for future detailing and maintenance, and I'd recommend them to anyone dealing with overspray, scratches, or who just wants their car to look perfect again. read more

If I could give more than five stars in this review I absolutely would. Vic and his team at Unique Car Wash & Auto Detailing took my 2006 Jaguar sedan that needed some TLC and made it SHINE! Most importantly to me, they did an absolutely amazing job on my wheels, which no matter how hard I have tried in the past to clean always looked dirty because of scratches and deeply ingrained dirt and grease, to the point that my plans to powder coat them are definitely back burnered for now. They also took my cloudy headlights and polished them to the point that when I pulled up in the driveway my husband noticed how much brighter they were. The interior, which I hadn't thought was in need of much of a cleaning, is now without a smudge or speck of dust on the leather seats, and my carpets and floormats were cleaned/shampooed. And finally, the finish on the painted exterior is flawless. It was sprinkling when I pulled out of the structure and by the time I got home the car was dry and there was not a water spot to be seen. I was at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa shopping and decided to get my classic Mercedes 280SE washed. So I asked around and they referred me to Unique Car Wash & Auto Detailing where I met Vic. I live in Newport Beach and almost no one touches my MBZ other than myself. But once Vic to a look at my car and told me exactly which processes he was going to take in waxing my car, that's when I really trusted the guy. He offered to do a wash & wax which i agreed to but advised him i needed to stay by the car because it was only the 3rd time I was having someone else wash my car since I've owned the car since 1995. I will have to say watching them do their work was very pleasing and satisfactory because the carefulness and attention to detail was great. To cut in short, as fussy as I get with my vehicles, I have already made an appointment for Vic to detail a couple of my other cars. Wow! We took our car to Unique about 9 months ago because we wanted to sell it. Vic and his team did an amazing job! We tend to "live" in our cars. He was able to make the car look better than what it did when we bought it 3 years ago as a used car. He even cleaned the insides of the headlight covers. I actually feel safer knowing our headlights shine brighter at night. When I wanted to have our van (10 years old) cleaned this week, I didn't hesitate to call Vic. They did the same AMAZING job. He steamed cleaned the carpet twice trying to get out as many stains as possible. (My husband uses our van for his 2nd job, so some of the stains are permanent, unfortunately). Kids always tell you the truth. Our boys (ages 10 and 7) opened the doors to get in the van and one said,"Wow, mom, I have never seen our van so clean!". Being a meticulous car enthusiast, it's hard for me to give any auto detail shop 5 stars but Vic and his team deserve no less! I usually detail my S4 with my own two hands but have stopped by Unique a few times when I have a crazy schedule or need an emergency detail. And with each visit, I am always satisfied with the work. Vic and his team are not your typical corner location pumping out 20 cars an hour... These guys really spend time on your car making sure every detail from windows to wheels are taken care of. Cars are cleaned and detailed in the parking garage so you don't have to worry about hard water spots or other issues you have cleaning your car in direct sunlight. I recently experienced my first car detailing service, and it exceeded my expectations. I am quite particular about how my car's cleaned and have had bad experiences with other retailers. I was particularly impressed by the efficiency and promptness of their service. Unlike other places I had contacted, which required appointments, this establishment accommodated me on short notice even on more complicated services. The results of the detailing were truly remarkable. Both the exterior and interior of my car were thoroughly cleaned. The transformation was astonishing; the headlights regained their clarity and brightness, the exterior gleamed, and all traces of stains, food crumbs, and debris were meticulously removed. For a long time, I have been wanting to have my ten-year old car detailed. The paint was looking faded and even when washed, the surface was as rough as sandpaper. I called Unique Car Wash yesterday and spoke to Rick. He took my car in the same day and because of its condition the service took a lot of time as he needed to do two clay rubbing treatments due to oxidation, remove the yellowing of the headlights, wax, and clean the interior windows. I am amazed and very happy with the results...my car looks almost new! He did an incredible job! Plus, it was reasonably priced. His "shop" is located in the parking garage at Metro Pointe so while your car is getting a spa treatment, you can hang out at Metro Pointe, have lunch, see a movie, or do some shopping. After not having much luck with a local semi-hand car wash local to me I (sometimes they would do exactly what I asked, sometimes not, if they guy working on a car next to mine oversprayed sealand onto mine they would leave it, the tiny green specks of tree poop wouldn't get washed off consistently, etc.,.)decided to try Unique Car Wash & Auto Detailing based on some Googling and asking a friend who lives across the street from them. I was not disappointed. They have everything from a basic wash on up to full detailing, and it is truly all hand done. I have a black paint job which is higher maintenance and more difficult to get spotless and they did a wonderful job. I went to Unique based on their great and numerous reviews and they did not disappoint. Vic (the owner) was extremely friendly and genuinely cared about my truck and getting the numerous light scratches and swirls out. My truck is 2 years old and has never been professionally detailed, so it was time. The swirls in the clear coat was driving me nuts. Vic and his crew took the time needed for a great paint correction, when I picked up my truck it looked brand new, maybe even better than it did off the showroom. My wheels looked amazing too. Having a black truck is very difficult to hid imperfections, but I can say it looked like a mirror finished when I picked it up. Vic gave me a fare price and I'm very satisfied with the end product, I'm even gonna take my wife's Audi there as well. read more

Car was lookin a little murky on the interior from not having been cleaned in 3.5 years, so I requested a quote on Yelp, And Vic answered hella quick with the cheapest rate out of all the replies, so I figured I'd try him out. Quick and easy, job was done in about 4 hours, and it's definitely something to behold when you haven't seen your interior cleaned in so long. The only thing wss that when I went to pick up my car at the appointed time, Vic let me know that the stains in my passenger and driver seat were still persisting (Cue list of stuff that's been spilled over the years), but offered for me to come back the day after for him to do a final touchup, no charge. I have been using "Unique Car Wash & Auto Detailing" for 12 years and counting. We have 2 family cars that are regularly washed (1-2 times monthly) and waxed (1-2 times yearly). I can say without question that "Unique" is hands down the right place to take your car if you want it to continue to look like new. One of my cars is a 2001 Vette, I am the original owner (18 years) and my Vette looks like it is BRAND NEW, with its original paint. Vic has reliable staff that CARE for your car with a high level of consistency no matter what you drive from a 18 year old car to one just driven off the show room floor. My car is special to me and it is special to "Unique". I think I'm going to take my sunroof off and go for a drive in the Orange County sun. read more

Yesterday I took in our RX350 after speaking with Vic for my first time. I couldn't be happier with the results! They're conveniently located close to my office, which made drop-off and pick-up great. Vic himself was great - super communicative throughout the process, keeping me updated on the progress and answering any questions I had.
