Took my car for an oil change & noticed the headlight wasn't working that same night. I asked them about it & they said those lights just go out & they could fix it for $100. Paul is your guy as far as automotive care. A trustworthy, kind hearted guy. I came here new to Maryland and broke and stressed and starting a new life. Paul really made me feel comfortable and helped me get everything tested n fixed for marylands car regulations. He made me feel welcome here when I really needed it. I've since taken all 3 of my vehicles to Paul anytime anything happens. Sometimes it's just me being paranoid and he's honest and tells me there's nothing wrong, whereas your average mechanic would just invent issues to get your money. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a reliable, HONEST mechanic. I drive a lot and have 3 vehicles and soon more (I own a business). This station took our Giant points without giving the discount we had earned. The cashier rather than addressing the issue, lied with a straight face claiming we were getting a discount and tried to confuse us by different prices they had posted for regular purchases and discounted purchases with a car wash, which we had not gotten. These folks are pure con artists and we have reported them to Giant. We later learned from another friend they had the exact same experience. read more

I took my car to Kenny to have my flex pipe welded. Come to find out he used putty on my flex pipe instead of welding it. When I confronted him, he would not give me a refund or fix the issue. Also, he does not call you when your car is finished nor does he answer the phone when you call to check on your car. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Negative stars, just wow. Tire going flat with a nail in it, closest place was here, pull in and walk around until I can find someone, who tells me they're busy it would be over an hour to get to it. I say thanks, figure will try across street but tire has gone totally flat in meantime so go back and explain, say will hang around, but guy keeps doing stuff and ignores me for about five minutes until the other guy sees this and comes over to say they are getting ready for an inspection and won't help me, so I am literally sitting here writing this as I wait for AAA to help change the tire in the parking lot of their service center. We went to this Shell to get gas and planned to use our Giant points. The points did not come off of the total. We went inside to speak to the manager and he played dumb. We should have saved 70 cents. It was frustrating. Once we got home I checked my Giant account and the points were gone. Will never go back to this business. Disreputable. read more

The night time cashier was the rudest individual I've ever encountered. He messed up my transaction so badly that he resorted to trying to blame me for his mistakes, but the fun didn't stop there. He insult me for 5 minutes, and brought his race, age & family connections to the business as proof that he was untouchable. I ultimately left without gas and took my business elsewhere. I strongly recommend that you avoid this shop that obviously has no problem with such an abusive employee representing them. read more

This gas station is so small that you have to play Tetris with the other cars just to get to the pump. Sometimes if a person parks and goes into the convenience store you will get trapped at the pump until they move. This gas station is more like a junk yard, there's always at least 12 cars parked there abandoned. read more

Saw the good reviews here and thought it'd be good to bring my car here for a state inspection. Unfortunately, they assured me that my car needed to have both of its front tires replaced in order to pass inspection. Took the car to two other mechanics and both of them assured me this was not the case and finally the second performed the full state inspection and passed the car with no additional repairs necessary (Thrifty Auto Shop in Annapolis). May have just been a fluke experience (appears to be the case based on the other reviews). However, I will be looking to do business elsewhere based on this poor experience. read more

Car broke down by Giant, so I walk over to the Shell. Mechanic said he can help but I would need to tow car to his lot. I and some amazing bystanders pushed the car over. His assessment... needs a new starter. Ok how much to fix it if I get the part at Advanced Auto. Kenny (mechanic) said $250 for labor and no warranty if I buy the part. Too Make matters worse he tells me I have to pay for him to use his tow truck to move the car from in front of his bay to put it in his bay. I told him we can push it. See now he took it to far. During this time we are all facing a terrible time with the Covid-19 outbreak and Kenny will try to take advantage of you. He came up with several excuses as to why he needed to charge me an extra $75 to move the car three feet, none of them made sense. He even contradicted himself saying tow trucks refuse to put cars in his bay? He cares more about getting your money, this is not the kind of person you want working on your car. I shop at Giant and I had rewards points that I wanted to use. I had 30 or $.40 off per gallon I can't remember but after I filled up my car, I got a couple gas cans out of my trunk that I wanted to fill to take home. He saw what I was doing and he cut the pump off. He told me I had to pay again if I wanted to fill up the gas cans He did not want me to fill two 5-gal cans at the reduced rate. I won't get gas here again unless absolutely necessary. There are plenty of other gas stations to give my money to. The older guy inside that wears the turban just looked at me with a grin on his face one time because I didn't understand how to use the Giant rewards with the credit card machine inside. He just looked at me and stared as if to say well I don't even want to imagine. But it didn't leave me with a very good feeling. Where has our America gone? I Still remember when I was 16 (1978) the friendly Amoco station that used to be on the corner up by the circle and the Exxon as well where the 7-Eleven is now. I remember friendly Gas station attendants that used to come out and fill your car up for you and wipe your windshields and check your oil. I miss those days! read more
