I can agree with Roberto A.'s review, although their location is on a busier part of McCormick, their prices are pretty competitive. Take for instance this Shell versus the Shell a few minutes Southwest of here, there is a price difference. Lower here. If you check gas prices on-line you can see that the prices here are comparable to the Marathon next door, only problem is Marathon's prices are lower only if you can pay in CASH. Kinda silly. Octanes here are 87, 89 & 93 if you plan on going to Marathon check their octanes. I don't agree with Roberto when he says "Gas is Gas". Octane is king and different gasoline companies have different versions of pure. Your car handles it all differently. Luxury and sports cars need a better octane, standard cars only need regular. Do some testing on your own, I can notice the slight changes between using crappy cheap gas versus silver at Shell or BP. Please don't put E85 in your car unless the car manual says so, just because the pump is there doesn't mean your car can run on it. So many people just assume and love that lower price without thinking. Not a great idea. This station has a convenience store and air for your tires. You can borrow a tire gauge with your ID, from inside. read more

I asked for my rewards to be added as I purchased gas. It was .23 off a gallon and I use Mid-grade because I have a Volvo. Anyway once I noticed that it didn't apply I was yelled at by the man with no teeth at the bottom! He is constantly rude to women and people of color specifically but when I see a non perfect of color arguing with him he's so apologetic and calm. If he's the owner he needs to be taken from him. He's a nasty man and I will NEVER GO BACK!! read more

Pump wasn't reading my loyalty number so I went inside, card reader wasn't reading number so Ahmed instead of kindly explaining the situation after I asked why, he responded, "that's your problem, not mine." I decided to not make it my problem or a place I'll do business with. read more

Nice little carwash got the salt off and super convenient right off a busy intersection and the best part was no line!

This Shell station now sells E85 Ethanol for vehicles that use it. Look for the pumps with the Blue handles located on the south end of the station. Unlike other gas stations that have separate ethanol pumps, this one integrates the E85 with the regular gasoline pumps. Remember, use E85 only in vehicles that can handle it. For vehicles using regular gasoline, this gas station's prices seem to be one of the more competitively priced in the area. With a Marathon just to the west of this Shell, occasionally you will see a price war that pulls more cars to one station or the other. Gas is gas, go where it is the cheapest. read more

I put four quarters in the vacuum and nothing. It didn't turn on but ate my $. The attendant gave me 4 tokens and said use a different one. (Ok but that one needs an 'out of Order' sign!!). For the 2nd vacuum, the tubing wasn't even connected! The third one that does actually work has low suction. Very disappointing. I have to go elsewhere to finish the job. read more

Pumps are finicky and shut off during fill up. Employee is not helpful. Prices are high. Get your gas elsewhere.

After 12 years of coming to this statiin i never had issues with the staff. Mostly spanish. The cashier that works there now is the rudest person in the world there was a machine that was acting up this is the second time transaction doesn't go through the 1st time it happened I got a hold on my checking account for $120 had to wait four days for that hold to be released so I go inside this time ... the second time it happens to me and I explain to the girl what's going on and she comes out and she continues to teach me how to pump my gas repeating you see you see... I thought that was the most stupid things you could have ever done because my problem was not pumping the gas my problem was that the machine had kicked me out before I even process the transaction and gave me a receipt. I pump the gas and she said see it look whatever I explained to her it's not me it's the machine you need to look into it she said whatever whatever you got gas... not cool I'll be calling corporate on you Mukesh. If you don't like your job then you should go elsewhere. im giving 2 stars only because i never had a problem here well tonight sunday june 19th we came in to get $4.00 worth of gas for my gas can for a lawn mower well as i handed the older man from india a $ 20.00 bill he said it would be $ 15.00 i said over and over and showed him we have a gas can for a lawn mower he said he did now understand and kept going on about it after wasting are time he turned on the pump and said i did not want to pay as a lady did try to explain he did not hear her how many times do i need to tell you only $ 4.00 he wanted to know witch car was ares no no no look a gasssssssss cannnnn $ 4.00 worth of gas do i need to beg for you to start the gas and then he did give me my $ 16.00 change but no singles to play bingo scratch offs o well mr you are crazy did you want to rip me off i think so so have a happy rom a dom its to bad this is the closest gas station to are house read more

The lot is never cleared on snowy days, and I don't think the prices are too great. Also the location is really hard to access; it is on the corner of a very busy intersection, so getting into and out of the lot is really difficult. read more

Worst car wash. I paid $9 for the works. In the end, there is still salt on my car and the rinse and drier didnt even remove all of the soap. So disappointed and frustrated. read more

Wow! Great service! I got hooked up today! First off, I filled my gas tank and noticed there was an attentive, alert station attendant. Not to be a creep, but I was watching him work and he never stopped once and stayed really busy! If I was outside on a beautiful day I know I'd be slacking around. He was on the ball. Then I filled my tires with air, no problem there. I had purchased a car wash after filling up and I saw a sign saying "free vacuum with purchase of car wash!" Ye-yuhhhh! I went in to get the coins and the lady behind the counter was sweet and quick! Thanks Fatina! Then I got a great car wash and they dried it by hand! That's super rare. At least for the car washes I go to! Everything was fast but I felt welcome and well taken care of! Great job! read more

I am very pleased to know that this Shell DOES NOT charge for air. I have gone to other Shell gas stations not so far from this one, and they charge between.50 and $1.00 for air. Seems to me if you are patronizing the gas station it's a great perk not to have to pay for air. It is a great customer service perk. I encourage all my friends in the area to go here. read more

Not at all a fan of a gas station advertising the price of unleaded *with purchase of car wash* on their sign. Especially in the morning to those who'd rather not be awake, it looks like the gas is priced lower, when in fact it's actually a higher price than the Shell a mile north on McCormick. I had the worst experience with trying to get help from any of the employees that work at this location. I was using pump#8 and it charged me something completely different than what I am use to paying for gas in my car. I inserted my shell fuel rewards card followed by my credit card, then I hit Regular several times and proceeded to fill my car up. I noticed that after about 10 gallons, which I normally fill up about 12.5 gallons, of filling up it charged me a lot more than I am use to seeing for regular. I noticed that there was no price prompt showing on the small screen just above large buttons that activate your choice of gas, but didn't think anything of it as it was almost done pumping to my desire. I think printed a receipt to find out I was actually charged for Premium? I brought it to the attention of the clerk Faisil, but all he did was verify which pump I was at, if I used my shell rewards card, and was told that there is nothing that can be done? Not to seem petty, but it would have been nice to exhaust all options before being told there's nothing that an be done about my issue. I was given no courtesy of him asking a manager or him calling corporate to report the issue. His lack of concern for the situation leads me to believe he knows the machines are faulty and could potentially fraud people. In closing, for me it is less about me getting monetary compensation, but the way he went about acknowledging the issue. Never go to this shell, they will fraud transactions on your credit card and will not care or help. I've report the issue to corporate shell and yet to receive a call back. read more
