Which in late 2022 My engine lost all oil on a drive from SLO to San Diego. I had to get a engine rebuilt. From th a t experience I really wanted to take care of my Van. So, when I came back from SD in 2023 I went to Millers. Theyre honest, thorough and will keep costs at bay as much as they can. Ive been so pleased I am writing this recommendation. Its hard to find Car Shops that are honest, quick and thorough with keeping costs down. Please take your car there, you'll be glad you did.

I called and the gentleman assured me that they will take care of my tire which needed to be patched. (Why is there a big piece of metal on highway 101?!?) Karston greeted us with a smile and took care of the tire. He also helped us installed it back to our car. He was very nice and friendly and his service was top notch! Trash always on the lot, wiper fluid buckets disgusting, and apparently the management is perfectly fine with the business looking like a combination of a homeless coalition and drug rehab. Yes, that includes some of the staff. I hope they can turn it around. I miss the Chevron I use to know. I guess clean stores, courteous staff, and competent management are a thing of the past some places. What a shame​

My wife and I were staying just up the road at The Cliffs Hotel from this gas station. I immediately knew one of my rear tires were flat with and so we limped our way to the gas station. After realizing the tire was done, we were on the phone with AAA and several local tire stores in the area. The first tire store we called did not have the size I needed but the proprietor upon hearing we needed to be at a wedding in 3 hours called a COMPETITOR to locate and arrange an appointment. All seemed well, until AAA showed up and denied towing my car because it was too low. They also refused to let me use any tools or offer any other solution. I was not happy about that. With two hours remaining I asked the young woman if I could borrow any tools and she let me in back to see what I could find. Amazingly, I found a 17mm socket which was what I needed and asked her if she had a jack. She took me to her car and let me rummage through it to see if I could find one which I could not. In the meantime she was calling friends to see if they could bring me a jack, Long story short, my wife and I made it to the wedding in the nick of time. This young woman and so many other people we met in our short stay really bent over backwards for us, and we wanted to say thank you! Coming from the Bay Area it was really such a pleasant surprise to find people living in a different and more neighborly way, and this young woman exemplified that.
