I placed a mobile order, waited 10 minutes past the time they said it was going to be ready only to come in and find that they didn't have it. I had to redo my order on the kiosk, and wait for them to make it again. This is becoming problematic and consistent. Most of staff is not on the same page. All staff are friendly and the food is good. I want to keep coming back but they're not making it easy.

Apparently this is the place to buy your lotto tickets and sometimes your standing in line for a while. Cigarettes are consistently the cheapest in town. Valero's rewards membership is also pretty decent. You earn points on purchases that can be redeemed for pretty much anything they sell, including gas. I've been hoarding mine and haven't used any yet. I prefer Valero's gasoline over the alternatives and they're considered a "top tier retailer" alongside Chevron and Shell. I love this place! There's just one problem. The manager(s). I've been coming long here long enough to have encountered two of them. I'm assuming the previous manager left, because I don't see her anymore. She was hostile and I wasn't particularly sad to see her go. However, she pales in comparison to her replacement. The current manager is rude, impatient, and generally difficult to deal with. I avoid coming during the day simply so I don't have to deal with her. Tip of the day: If you're miserable and looking for a fight; don't work in customer service.

Paid around $65 if I'm remembering right, which seemed fair for how fast they came and how smoothly it went. It's one of those services you hope you never need twice, but if I'm ever in that situation again around Smyrna, I'd call them without overthinking it.

BEWWRE -heinous- stopped at the shell for an emergency pee break for my kid; however I think the cashier was discriminatory& racist- because upon walking in he first yelled at at my 8yr old son saying he couldn't bring in his drink and then proceeded to say bathrooms were only for customers - said we had to spend a certain amount. I grabbed the food, paid for it on a kiosk, and went back to the car to eat. Hubs went to use the restroom and grab a coffee. When I started to go through the bag, I realized no sauces were in the bag and sandwich looked less appealing than a prison sandwich. Hubs went back in for me to get the sauces and I was given ranch instead of garlic aioli but the Chesapeake sauce was correct. The food was just not worth the price or the carbs. I was no longer hungry but also still craving an empty satisfaction. This was the first place we came across after driving for a while with no civilization in sight. Next time, I will be searching for other options if I am in the same predicament. Maybe I went on an off day or maybe they are known for other foods. They are similar to the concept of Wawa but nowhere near the quality.

We'd made them combos ($3.50 upcharge) so we had sides of sweet potato waffle fries (excellent). She had a 16 ounce fountain drink and I had a 24 ounce house blend coffee from a machine that literally ground the beans and brewed the coffee right then and there. And it was really good. This cost us about 20 bucks for the gas and $20.80 for lunch. By the time we finished, I had already looked up all of their locations, and I am pleased to report that they have one just outside of Richmond! So when it was my turn I paid for my things and left. I walked outside and saw the group talking and two of the girls looked at me then talked among themselves and one of the girls said "Does this look like a black girl's comb?" then turned to each other and laugh. The girl was obviously white and I am black with dreadlocks like I need a comb. I could have reacted in a way that wouldn't have had a good turn out but after a 16-hour shift I wanted to go home quick. So knowing that this store has racist employees that has their racist family come by and harass the customers. I will not be returning as this place was a normal pit stop I would rather wait til I get to the Valero and spend a few extra dollars NO PROBLEM.

This is a major lottery redemption center for the state of Delaware lottery. The employee told me…read morehe was unable to cash a voucher for $283. However if I had brought in the original ticket for $290 they would have had to cash it. So I called the Delaware lottery office and they said that as a courtesy this store should have cashed my voucher because maybe I would have bought other tickets there. And I told them that yes I was planning on doing that. However now that they would not cash my voucher I will not patronize the store again. One good thing is that as of July 1st, according to the lottery office, the stores will have to cash the vouchers as well as the tickets or they will lose their ability to be a major lottery cashing center.
