SKIP THIS GAS STATION! This doesn't deserve any star at all. During our visit, my husband entered the restroom with our two young sons (ages 6 and 9). When he came out, I asked him where the women's restroom was, as it appeared to be closed. Since he was unsure, he approached the employee at the front and politely asked if there was a women's restroom available. The employee responded in a rude and dismissive tone, stating, "Can't you see there's a bathroom back there?" My husband tried to remain calm and explained that the restroom was clearly labeled for men, and there was no indication that women were supposed to use it. The employee then replied, "Can't you see that the women's restroom is blocked with all of that equipment?" At this point, there was still no clear signage or guidance provided, and the employee continued to respond with attitude rather than assistance. She then made another sarcastic comment: "Do you want me to put 'woman' on the sign in the back there?" During this interaction, the employee also stated that she could refuse service to individuals who were not paying customers. This assumption was incorrect and unfair, as our children were holding items (ice cream and a popsicle) that we fully intended to purchase after using the restroom. Because we needed immediate restroom access for our children, she assumed we were not customers and treated us differently as a result. There were also three other women waiting outside the restroom area during this time. Notably, my husband had to step in and explain to them that they would need to use the men's restroom and lock the door, as no guidance was being provided by the employee. As my husband and my two children were leaving the store, my young child pushed on the door while exiting, even though it was labeled "pull." The employee made an inappropriate and condescending remark: "Can't you read that it says pull?" This comment was directed toward a child, without any patience or understanding. After I exited the men's restroom, the employee made an additional remark: "I hope your kids learned something today."This statement was judgmental, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. The interaction ultimately escalated to the point where the employee refused to serve us, and we were forced to leave the store. This entire experience occurred in front of our children and was handled with hostility, disrespect, and a complete lack of professionalism. We felt unwelcome, disrespected, and discriminated against based on the employee's assumption that we were not paying customers. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the Shell plc brand. I already filled a complaint through corporate and will keep following up. read more

I've driven past this gas station at least 100 times and always wondered about it. I usually stop at a rest stop or Eddie World. But thought I'd check this place out. With the numerous charging stations for Teslas, you would think that the Lil Food Mart would be much nicer and have nicer restrooms. However, it's disgusting. It's dirty. The restrooms are in disrepair. The water from the faucet is barely a drip. No soap to be found. I strongly suggest bypassing this location and going to Eddie World instead. read more

Ok we came to supercharge station for the tesla and now is 1:53 am. I wanted to go bathroom and asked the cashier do I need a key for it? And he said if you are customer you can use it. So I said I will be the customer soon after the restroom. He gave me the attitude so I told him u don't have to give me the attitude. I also asked what's the minimum purchase? I give this shell gas station 0 stars due to the restrooms being so filthy. On numerous occasions, many months apart, this gas station has been filthy. The outside area smells really bad...I'm guessing it's from the overflowing trash cans. The inside is really small and the bathrooms are filthy. Both the men's and women's restrooms had a strong urine smell that overflowed into the store area. The toilets in both did not function properly. The urinals in the men's restroom were filled with urine. There was toilet paper all over the place. Just horrible and disgusting!!!! I would only stop here again in this station was my last resort. Advertised on a billboard to have clean bathrooms but nah. Super disgusting and also in disrepair. No toilet paper holder, just a roll on top of a dirty rail. I was going to just grab some paper towels and piss outside, but there weren't any paper towels. They had napkins though so just did that. We stopped by on our way home from a road trip. The cashier was very friendly and engaged us in conversation. He had a cat with him which I thought was interesting. The inside of the store was very neat and clean. I usually don't like eating gas station food but given that I had been on the road for 3 hours & still had 3 more hours to go, I figured I might as well. I got a chicken salad sandwich, a Pete's coffee, chap stick and some Snickers and paid $14. I gotta admit that that was a damn good sandwich haha. I didn't even get a stomach ache either haha. Trekking from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, the extent of the dangerous life I lead is trying to see how far I can get without filling the tank up with gas. Immediately after passing Baker, the gas light went on. I could manage it to the next gas station, I thought. Surely, there were gas stations between there and Yermo. Ostensibly not. Fast forward a bit more between and I noticed a sign that said "GAS - DIESEL". I wondered why a gas station only sold diesel and not regular and cursed myself for not properly preparing for this. I wondered if someone would be kind enough to take me to the next gas station. Whether uber came out this far in Bat Country. Whether my city slicker self would ever make it back to Los Angeles. Only a little later did I realize that the sign probably meant that, in addition to 'normal' gas, they also had diesel. I wondered if I would ever look back and laugh on that mistake. I began to pray to God and again cursed my wayfarer spirit. My ruse was up. No LTE. Gas Buddy was non existent. I was done for. Then this station appeared on the horizon and all was saved. I gassed up, stocked up on fiber bars in case I couldn't make it back to LA. The lady running the cash register remarked on my way out "have a blessed day" and I again thanked heaven for this gas station, who on any other day and in any other place would be nothing more than an average place to fill your tank for 150% the cost of a normal tank ($3.73 in LA right now. $2.99 national. $4.98 here). The gas prices are at least $1 more/gallon here. It's an average size gas station with about 7 or 8 pump stations and they were all occupied. We stopped here to use the restroom. Clean women's restroom! They posted a paper sign on the bathroom doors that the restrooms are for customers only. We purchased a couple of sodas and each were under $2. The prices for their drinks and snacks were comparable to 7-eleven. There was a longer line at the cashier than at the women's restroom, lol. There was only one cashier working but she was very friendly. To summarize: pricey gas, clean restroom, well stocked with drinks and snacks (see pics) and friendly staff. read more

I stopped in to this extremely overpriced gas station after my sick dog had an accident on me while in the car, with no gas stations in sight for miles. I know, I know, just my luck right? Only my luck was just about to get worse. Finally, I see a Shell gas station and I had the misfortune of selecting this place. I go inside and pay their ripoff prices for 18 baby wipes ($4.99) so I could get myself cleaned up and didn't even blink an eyelash at that. You do what you gotta do. There were no other options. So I pay their exorbitant prices... But what ruined my experience was the two extremely rude employees who would not let me change in their public bathroom because "their water wasn't working". What difference does it make if I just wanted a place to have some privacy for two seconds to get changed? They could clearly see what happened to me and I told them but these sociopaths that worked there had zero empathy. I said that I didn't need to use their water, I was using the highway robbery baby wipes they sold me to clean up with. I tried pleading with them to show some human decency but they were completely heartless and gave me the weak excuse that "if they let me, they'd have to let everyone". As if there was a line around the building of peeps looking to get changed in there and I was asking for something above and beyond what a person with any sort of compassion could give. A little kindness would have gone a long way but that was beyond the thought process of these two women who worked here. Had this been handled different, I probably would have been writing this gas station a glowing review to show my appreciation, as I often do. I'd have much preferred to do that but after my horrible experience I absolutely cannot. So fine! Have it your way. I'll just change out in the parking lot and I'll never stop at this gas station ever again! I'm probably going to be boycotting Shell because I usually have a choice of how I can spend my money and I'm not going to be paying my money to be treated like crap, no pun intended. If you want to charge such high prices, ok, but can you at least offer some value in exchange for what you charge? Omg!!! Really needed to use the restroom and let me tell you... from the outside this place isn't attractive (10/11/17) but the restrooms are super modern and super clean!!!! The coffee machine is also very up to date and their selection of snacks is really awesome. You need to stop here if you need the restroom and snacks. I'm reviewing this shell station for the women's restroom. Our vehicle was full tank so no reason to buy gas. It was close to midnight last night, and it was the only one closed by. I'm quite surprised of the sanilitized scent of the convenient store, and was wowed by the cleanliness of the women's restroom. No tags on the wall and smelled really clean inside. I spoke to Sean and appreciated his effort in keeping the store and restroom clean. Sky-high prices and an endless restroom line are features here, though no prices are actually listed on items to keep sticker shock from impacting impulse buys. Restrooms are a mess due to the steady amount of traffic, which is understandable as this is the only joint actually still in business this side of the Nevada state line. Even the rest stop a few miles back that way was blocked off. All the cups are available at the front counter, and ice is 99 cents a cup, "minimum," according to a handwritten sign plastered on the front of the soda fountain. Apparently ice is not offered here, as the machine is deactivated and covered in seasonal decoration spider webbing. I noticed all this whilst waiting in line for the men's room, which has obviously not been attended to in some time given that the plastic bag over a urinal denoting that it's out of order has been urinated upon. My wife noticed that someone also defecated inside a trash can in the ladies' room. If this hadn't been the only place open, we'd never have stopped here. On our way back, we'll definitely wait. Price gouging is one thing, a lack of competition can allow that. But the absolutely dreadful state of the restrooms is not. read more

The staff here was very rude! Traveling from Las Vegas going north on the 15 both of the rest areas are closed. This was the first place past the second closed rest area to stop to use the facilities. They had closed both of the bathrooms for cleaning at the same time. Asked if I could pop in really fast because it was kind of an emergency and she said no, go use the one at the restaurant next door. My husband started to move a cone out of the way for me while explaining to her I was I'll. She yelled at us and said we were the rudest customers she'd ever seen and told us to leave. We were already on our way out the door but she was trying to turn it into a big scene. Thankfully we did make it next door in time!
