7/10/26 Road trip to Vegas!!! Our first pit stop is at this Chevron for fuel, snacks & restroom Plenty of pumps (regular unleaded $5.65/gal), clean. The inside of the convenience store is well stocked with your usual drinks, chips, candies, cookies that are well arranged. Restrooms are clean as well, with solid stall doors. Of note, one stall did smell urea (ick! Pass! No thanks, used the next stall). No paper towels though, I don't care for the hand driers. I really liked the self service/checkout option because I got stuck behind a group of people (6 of them who were buying different things & one person paying) It's annoying but I opted to use the self checkout to bypass that mess. This Chevron is located close to the cluster of hotels in the area and off the 15 freeway next to the outlets. The price is decent compared to most stations down in I.E. and O.C. They're a bit bigger than normal Chevron stations with way more pumps. I definitely would fill-up again at this station due to its convenient location and it felt pretty safe. read more

I actually love this Chevron. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Bathrooms are kept up. They have the best hot cocoa selection!! They are well stocked. The area outside is maintained. We come to this Chevron as our midway point when traveling. Love this Chevron. read more

I usually stop at the Chevron on my way to Laughlin, Nevada. But last week I stopped here twice, once on the way up to Salt Lake City, and once on the way back from Salt Lake City. The gas station is huge with lots of gas pumps. The bathrooms are clean. Customer service has always been good. The gas prices are a little high, however, since it's a very popular stop along the I-15 freeway. read more

It's a gas station in the middle of Vegas and LA and there is no restroom. Insanity! Even the portable restrooms weren't working.

Why pay $7/day for a soda pass on my cruise when I can get it for $1.50? Noting like a Dr. pepper to help with the long drive back to Utah! They had a good selection of drinks & also fountain choices. (Wish there was shorts of flavoring or limes) Also...the Sour Patch Exploders are game changers. They are like sour gushers. Get them. Love them. The bathrooms were pretty nice. There was a line for the men's but not the women's...and WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN?! Our go to spot for the Vegas run. Open all day all night all year. We've calculated this to be the half way point of our trips. Conveniently located right off the freeway. Right down the street from all the outlets and a plethora of dining options. The inside is always clean and well stocked. No matter what time of day there is always an employee running around keeping the place tidy. The prides are pretty reasonable for a gas station. We even found some Natural Ice 12 pack for $7 here. Hey, $7 is $7. :) My only knock here is they don't have paper towels in the restroom. I don't remember them ever having paper towels here. Im all for keeping it green and all, but, c'mon man. This seems to be a common stop when traveling to Las Vegas from CA! We were honestly looking for that Welcome Center that the blue sign led us to stop at this exit, but my boyfriend's family suggested the Chevron! The gas seemed to be fair pricing, after all, it's a stop along the highway. The pumps were all working with the trash cans maintained- trash is not filled to the brim. The store is clean, well-stocked with snacks, goodies, electronic emergency options such as chargers, some car stuff, and even some hot food like hot dogs & tacquitos. The cashier zoomed through the stretched-out line rather quickly. The bathrooms are clean, and if they aren't, there's a sign urging customers to report to an employee. Cleanliness is the most important part of the bathroom. Though the exit path is a pull on the door handle, there's paper towels behind where the sinks and hand dryers are. The stalls were stocked with toilet paper, paper towel dispenser stocked, and the toilets pretty clean. There are also 2 baby station thingies in the women's restroom. I travel between LA and Northern Arizona several times a year and always stop here. Yes, the gas is expensive, but they have plenty of pumps and decent restrooms. This is also, perhaps, the most convenient gas station off Lenwood, in terms of getting off the freeway and back on. I am only here mainly for Lottery tickets though. Since my friend's usually do the buying, except when I am on the California side of the CA/NV state line. They have the dirtiest women's restrooms I have been in for a long time. The shelves were low of drinks. The floors were filthy. This business only deserves a one star! The only reason I gave them two is because the ladies that worked there were very nice and they can only do the best with what they're given to work with. My usual rest stop during trips to and from Los Angeles (from Las Vegas). Open 24 hours. Restrooms available. Ample lighting (night travels). Fair amount of people. Lottery available (if interested) Drinks/snacks available (munchies !) Not much to say really. Used to stop at fast food joints an exit prior on main street (McD, Burger King, etc) but then realized it was kind of pointless to stop at those places, since we weren't gonna eat anyway, and parking usually a pain (at McD). read more

Heading to Laughlin and pulled off at the Lenwood Road exit to get something to eat and fill up the gas tank. As usual I paid at the pump for the gas. The pump said that a receipt was available inside but I wanted to get back on the road so I just left. About an hour or so later I got a call from my credit card company asking if I tried to make a purchase at a restaurant in Lancaster, CA which is about 90 miles west of Barstow. Thank goodness the transaction was declined by my cc company and the charge did not go through but I believe that someone at the Chevron station is collecting customer's credit card info and using it. According to my cc company the transaction took place right after my visit to the Chevron station so please beware of this when traveling through the Barstow area. read more

This is where we always make our first stop on the way to Vegas. It's right off of the Lenwood exit in Barstow. There are lots of eateries nearby; In N Out, Del Taco, Carl's Jr., Chipotle, El Pollo Loco, Bobs Big Boy, Panda Express, Subway, Starbucks, etc. If you're a Taco Bell lover, just head North to Main Street. This Chevron seems to be the unspoken meet-up/stop-spot for all the Cali to Vegas drivers. It's always packed with people stretching, re-fueling, and using the "facilities". The area where you pump gas is spacious & they have many stations so you are not waiting very long. The store has good inventory on snacks & beverages. I am very impressed with this location! They did a pretty good job keeping the station clean. The bathroom had a few stalls and it was kept cleaned as well. The gas prices are similar to the prices back at LA. The staff was friendly and even out our snacks in a bag. As far as the snacks, they loaded up with different types of nuts, cookies, chips, beef jerky, candies, drinks, gym, etc. There is even a sandwich and hot dog station. The place was very well bright and lit. I would say this location does very well since this is a popular spot to stop for gas it a restroom break. There were a constant ppl going in and out 24-7. It's a nice and large gas station the only problem was they were doing construction on the main entrance area of the street so we had to drive around to get to it. The gas station and store have just about everything you need and a good restroom stop as well as coffee stop. There's restaurants and eateries nearby including a starbucks across the street. It's conveniently located. I like Chevrons and it's usually where I get my gas so I'm a fan of course. Plus if you shop at Vons a lot you can get discounts on your gas by saving up points. read more
