Needed a drain outside cleared. Unfortunately while we didn't clear it, it wasn't because of Shellback but because previous owner / builder buried the the end of the pipe and it just went straight into dirt 6 inches underground, after 50 feet. That said I was able to hear the auger and find where the pipe ended while he was working on it. These guys are super reliable, friendly and did an excellent job replacing my bathroom faucet due to a leak and switching out the old valves/pipes. The faucet was leaking, but even shutting off the valves did not shut off the leakage. They gave me the best price of all the competitors I had called and also promised to do a great job, which they followed through on. Update: Shellback called me immediately after my post and let me know there is a 1 year warranty on the work. They are sending someone out ASAP to fix the issues. Really appreciate the quick response and solution. Fast service but they didn't really fix anything. They said our water pressure was too high and charged us $600+ to fix that and the 3 toilets that were constantly running. One toilet leaking out the back. Well, 2 out of the 3 toilets still run and 1 toilet still leaks. The water pressure for one toilet is so low it has to flush twice often. The water pressure in the guest bathroom isn't even enough to shower in. read more

Got three quotes for a tankless water heater this year. Shellback was the least expensive... not by much, but still the least expensive. The guy who came out inspected the area, went up in our garage attic, etc., and told me what they had to do, etc. He gave me a quote in a tankless water heater... the competitors gave me a quote on the exact same model! Our shower was leaking from behind the drywall, so I expected the worst. Greg was on time and took the time to explain his plan once he accessed the situation. As it turned out, he was correct and was able to access and replace the failed pipe without having to cut into our drywall. In addition, he offered to send a water damage technician free of charge to determine if we had a potential mold issue within the walls. Talk about customer service. This is why I never get a second opinion. I fully trust Shellback Plumbing. My client used them about two years ago. They flushed my water heater about a year ago. Installed a water heater for me a couple of months ago (technician was the one who pointed out I still have warranty). Today was the big winner!! Kevin came out 8am in the morning as promised and spent an hour and half trying to unclog my toilet- issue wasn't as simple as Ai thought it would be. There was a blockage in the pipe somewhere on the kitchen side ( I had no idea). He snaked the bathroom toilet and kitchen pipes and tried all avenues and different routes and didn't give up. Gary and his team are outstanding. We had our upstairs bathroom backing up and it would not drain. Shellback came out quickly and on time and tried a number of things to try to clear the line. They ultimately had to replace a section of pipe downstairs that was blocked by roots. They had to jackhammer the foundation to get to the section of pipe. They protected the entire room with plastic and worked quickly to repair the pipe. Their pricing was reasonable, compared to what I hear other plumbers would have charged for this type of service.
