He was quite thorough in assessing the situation and answering any questions I had. The estimate came with a realistic assessment of how long things would take and a heads-up that the water would need to be shutoff for the entire duration. This enabled us to plan accordingly. Their price was the best of the estimates we got. The install was clean; Jesse made sure we were on the same page about the plan and took into account clearance for my existing water heater shutoff valve and two electrical outlets when positioning the filter & conditioner tanks. Gary and his team are great. I shopped around extensively, not only for price, but quality of service, quality of parts, convenience and most importantly for someone who is going to be honest. Spoke to Gary and just a few days he had a team of two guys at my house 8am sharp. They replaced almost a dozen angle stops (valves for hot/cold water) and fixed a leaky toilet. The guys were friendly and did an amazing job. They double, triple checked all valves to make sure they were installed tightly without any leaks. Some plumbing companies bid almost $100 more and wanted to install cheaper quality parts. It just goes to show you, it's important to understand the price, but also what parts are being used. Saving money while getting cheap plastic parts is not really saving money in the long run. Gary's team used higher end parts that are made to last. Pros: spent 3 mins and fixed my toilet Cons: Where to begin: - an hour late past the 3 hour time window. Upon telling the plumber this, his response was "was working bro" and then a half assed apology - snaked toilet scratching the porcelain all up- no apology for that - tried to overcharge by $100 but i had called earlier for prices- upon telling plumber this he said "okay its $79 then" my assumption was that he was going to pocket $100 for 3 mins of work - never received a recept showing this work done- it was supposed to be emailed to me but never was UPDATE: Spoke to Gary - He really went above and beyond to make things right. Had a great experience with this plumbing service. Called the day before for a backed up kitchen sink. Corey came out and snaked the drain which I previously tried to snake myself unsuccessfully. Thankfully Corey knew what he was doing and was able to get the drain unclogged. He then ran water down the drain to make sure that it was cleared out. They didn't try to up-sell me any services. I called a plumber for a clogged drain and Danny Applebee arrived as the Plumber. Danny took the time to diagnose the problem and uncovered I had a Bad Pressure Regulator which could burst my pipes and this apparently was the cause of several noises our toilets' were making. The typical pressure should be 50-75 my pressure was 130. I also had a bad garbage disposal and very bad clog in the kitchen pipes. Danny went out of his way and made sure everything was good to go. I liked the fact he wasn't pressuring me to buy but educating me on the problem and allowed me to make the decision to get it done. I will always use Shellback Plumbing for all my plumbing needs because the Plumbers are Proficient and Technical. Couldn't ask for a better company. The morning of Halloween our feed line in our driveway burst. Called and spoke to Gary around 7:00 am...by 8:00 am Neil had arrived and he was going over different ways we could address our situation. We determined it best to redo the piping since it was galvanized. Unfortunately the work couldn't be done the same day, but he made sure we had running water by the end of the day.
