For the record, sterling silver DOES still tarnish. It's just that it's useful in that it discolors slower than lower grades of silver. If the shop doesn't currently have a lot of traffic, one of the staff will pretty much accompany you around the store. Especially if you're looking at the jewelry with the semi-precious stones as they can then help you identify stones and take things out in order for you to take a look. So expect that. Their standard IS that they will take your semi-precious stone choice pieces away on a tray to keep at the cash register until you're ready. For us, they were super patient and helped me compare the two pieces I was interested in at the counter. It's just a basic security measure and I get it because Vegas is exciting and people sometimes forget they're still wearing a small something when their eye suddenly catches on something else. I've accidentally walked out of smaller boutiques with a super expensive piece on me before, then only realized it hours later before rushing back to return it. Additionally, it also gives them a chance to dust it off, clean, and polish it up so that you can see how it looks all super shiny before purchase. Their "50% off everything" offer isn't a limited-time-only thing. I was super excited to see a place that sells larimar as I've only really seen it sold online. I found the lady helping us to be super pleasant and helpful, and we had a wonderful time discussing types of semi-precious stones, cooing over more unique cuts of stone, and chatting about local restaurants and spots. XD Side note, remember to take a look at the jewelry displayed behind the counter as well, as there are some nice pieces there. Located in the Miracle Mile Shops mall, you can take advantage of Planet Hollywood's free parking. The mall itself is great when you need somewhere to hang out while sheltering from the elements as well as getting souvenirs. We've been stopping in this store for a few years now. I remember going to a location in Southern California years ago, before this store opened up, so I am familiar with the "50% off everything" deal (whatever the marked price). But last night, we actually did make a purchase. Three ladies were working last night, one of them asked my husband many times how he was doing. Rings are sorted according to size in the middle of the store, on the counters, in velveteen covered boxes. Nearby (hanging) are necklaces and earrings. On the walls, there are pendants, and more earrings. One part is labeled "Genuine Stone." But you might need to ask about the actual type it is, as the label does not always reflect the type of gemstone (turquoise, opal, larimar). The higher-priced items are protected in the glass cases which are locked, and you will need assistance from the employees, if you want to know the price or if you want to take a closer look. Everything's arranged in an orderly matter. Lots of pretty .925 Silver jewelry here. My husband had been looking for new earrings and he found two pairs (under $20) with Beth's help (she wasn't pushy). I was just looking, but I spotted a larimar pendant with a thick bail that resembled bali silver, and knowing that larimar is somewhat rare and only found in the Dominican Republic, I couldn't resist @ $34 (I saw pricey pieces in Hawaii this past February, well over $100 and even in the $200 range). I didn't need a chain because I can use my other ones. In the locked glass display case, there was a gorgeous larimar and mother of pearl bib necklace marked $590 (remember it's half this price), which is out of my price range, but it was gorgeous! Well, we like to spend our Christmas at Vegas. This time Me and my friend decided to go to Milestone Mall. I bought $56 dollars worth of jewelry from Shemoni jewelry. When me and my friend came to register to pay, there are some small empty jewelry boxes displayed on top of the counter. And when I was grabbing my wallet from my purse, some how one of the EMPTY BOX fall on the floor, and one White, little big, and blond short hair lady run to me and said " HEY LADY, YOU DROP MY BOX, WATCH OUT" I said sorry I didn't see. That's not how you treat their customers. I'm not sure if she's the employee or the owner but she was VERY RUDE. There was a Asian lady on the register and I can see, how embarrassed she was. They need to get rid of that lady ASAP. I decided never going back to that place again. read more

The place is clean and organized. I really like going there when I visit Vegas. It is inside Planet Hollywood's shopping mall, next to Victoria Secret. Great place to shop! read more

Anyone who has ever met me knows that I'm a total magpie, and possess a rather formidable costume jewelry collection...and so you'll understand why, when I saw all the big, shiny necklaces in the window of this place, I immediately had to go in and investigate! Smart salespeople take one look at a customer and can immediately figure out whether or not that person is just looking around casually, or is seriously likely to purchase items in the store (there's no judgement on either type of person, we've all been "just looking" in one store or another!). So it was surprising when the two saleswomen here decided that since it was five minutes before closing (according to my phone's time setting, which is set by satellite), they really didn't want to do their jobs for the next five minutes and instead attempted to harass me out of their store. "I just want to let you know we are closing in two minutes," I was informed by an older woman with a slight accent who clearly hadn't noticed the amount of costume jewelry I was wearing, or if she had, wasn't working on commission. Her tone and body language made it clear what she was trying to tell me, but I thought I'd clarify with her, since I was a little dumbfounded by the lack of actual customer service (No hello, welcome, can I help you find something because we're closing soon, etc.). "So does that mean I can't shop for the next few minutes?" I asked her, very pointedly. "Yeah, we're closing in two minutes, so...." Oooookay, lady. I get it. You don't want to make any last minute sales that might help boost your business on what was otherwise a pretty slow night in Las Vegas! So rather than push the issue or purchase the gold and rhinestone necklace I'd had my eye on since the second I'd entered the store, I simply took the hint, turned around, and left. But, really, WOW. That lady must be independently wealthy and not have to care about whether or not her store stays in business!!! With "customer service" like that, I'm guessing that they rely on the business of tourists who aren't likely to be return customers. I know that I certainly won't be back! read more

WARNING! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! This is too sad. I began shopping here while on vacation January 2017. I am a bargain shopper so when I saw that everything was 50-75% off, I was hooked. Their "sterling silver" jewlery was gorgeous...so I went a little over kill. I bought 3 necklaces, 2 bracelets, and 2 rings. I was a happy camper. This is now July 2018 and all my items have discolored!! I am currently back in Vegas and forgot to pack a necklace to wear with my outfit for our "fancy dinner night". This place came to mind because I just need a one-time quick fix necklace. The shop closes at 11pm and I rushed to get there with 5 minutes to spare. As soon as I walked in the lady made it clearly known to me that they were closing in five minutues. I began to look around quickly. Then she gave me the two minute warning. I told her I was looking as fast as I could (they have alot of inventory). It shocked me when she came out with the door closer and told me to leave. I looked at my watch and it was 11 o'clock on the dot. I told her I was almost finished and that I've been here and bought a lot of stuff here before. She said that she didn't care and that she had a lot of things to do and that I needed to go. I have NEVER been kicked out of a store before. She could of at least given me the extra two minutues I needed. I proceeded to tell her that she was being rude and she was going to lose a sale and she snapped back at me accusing me of being disrespectful and other hurtful comments. I finally gave up and walked out. I left with saying that I would never make a purchase there again. Her responce was, "I really don't care." Wandering around looking for a small, easily packable yet meaningful souvenir that wouldn't crumble before reaching home, I walked into this store. I noticed the sale signs and mentally recalibrated so that I could properly assess if there were bargains to be had. There were. I came home with a pair of sterling silver iolite earrings for under $10, and a sterling silver ring for $18. In Vegas, that's a bargain. The salespeople were helpful and not hovery. I also really liked the hamsa jewelry and eye amulets that abound in this store; the name and logo of the store plus the offerings lead me to think this store is owned/run by Israelis, or at least Jews of some kind. This is a small shop inside the Miracle Mile and based on the looks of the sale, may not be here next time you visit, so stop in while you can and find something nice. read more

I would have given no stars but that was not available. I was visiting Las Vegas from Michigan in February and bought a gift for my daughter from Shemoni. I did not return to Michigan for five weeks at which time I gave the necklace I bought to my daughter. It broke while she was trying it on. I called to the store and was told the manager would call me back. You probably know the manager never called back. They have a 7 day return policy, not refunds. OK, I just wanted to exchange for another. I traveled back to Vegas in April at which time I physically went into the store with the necklace, with the receipt. They are located in Planet Hollywood on the strip by the way, not next door to my resort by any means. The sales lady looked at the necklace and questioned where some kind of tag was. Well, in order to take the necklace out of the package you would have to remove the little tag which I believe was some kind of inventory tag. Of course it was after the seven day return so the sales lady said she couldn't exchange it (it was broke for heavens sake) without the manager's approval. She then she told me I should have kept calling until I got to talk to the manager, putting the responsibility on my shoulder's. Then she told me to come back the next day when the manager was going to be there. Lady, I don't live here. I can't come back tomorrow. Needless to say, after a lot of arguing I got nowhere with this lady. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge since I have defective merchandise (which by the way cannot be fixed). Don't shop there. That's why everything is 50% off. I love all the jewelry here, but as I was looking Thur the rings an employee started following me and started telling her coworker, look she just put her ring in her other hand,I'll go keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't steal, yes I removed my ring to tried on a few that I liked. I found one that I loved and was holding it in my hands, the same employee came and rudely gave me a tray with an smirk and rudely said "can you put it in here" I only bought the ring because it was the only that fit me it's not all easy to find something that fits. Before I begin let me just say this used to be one of my favorite jewelry stores in the entire world as I have traveled quite a bit. Now for the reason I am giving it one star. In 2009 I found this once gem and from then on started coming twice a year. A greeting with a smile & accommodating staff - it has been this way for 4 years prior until...this year. I came in with my three bestfriends (one of Mexican descent, one African-American and one of half half Philipine descent. I myself am both Hispanic and Asian). I was looking for a new promise ring for myself and for my boyfriend as well since I had heard they finally had rings for men. Now for the reason I described myself & those with me - On the night of November 18th we walked in and were greeted with darting eyes. After we began to touch the ring collection, the women working that night who should have greeted us proceeded to then latch on to each of us and followed us from case to case right on our heels not in a friendly nor accommodating way. I previously worked in retail so I know how things work. They constantly stopped us, asking to count our rings which normally would be fine but in such a small store and space, as many times as they stopped us and asked us was absolutely absurd. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable and very unhappy. Just in case it was just in my head, my best friend proceeded to test the saleswoman following her to see if she was truly following her. She moved from one side of the small table to the other then repeated it 3 more times. The woman was most certainly following her as was the rest of the staff with each of us. One sales woman must have felt that harassing us this way was so funny that she actually started dancing right behind us while watching us. I became quite angry at this point as did my best friends. We had come to shop and for them to help me pick out promise rings that my boyfriend had given me money to do so. It was meant to be a happy and enjoyable experience and was anything but.. We were then almost rushed out. To know that people on this earth still act like this was quite disheartening. It was the first time I have ever had such a terrible shopping experience and one of the worst ones including all the other countries I have traveled too. On top of all of this, the quality of the rings have declined as well since last spring. Both staff and rings have changed for the worse. I no longer will recommend that people go to this location nor will I ever visit here when I come in from out of town, especially if this is what they stand for. read more

I was greeted with a warm welcome. Their stores are somewhat small. But it is packed with a lot of sterling sliver and fashion jewelry. There is a one huge table in the middle of the store. The employee said that everything in the store is 50% off. Oh man I wanted to get some stuff. But I was overwhelmed with so many choices that I had to leave the store sadly. Love this store. Go to Vegas about every two years, and we always stop, and we always find something to buy. My moms all time favorite store. Very blingy and pretty items. A group of us ladies bought probably thirty items last time. We go on cruises with formal nights, so we actually wear the items we purchase. We have never had rude sales help. Not once.
