I came here after the parade. It looked like many had the same idea. This place has been here for a long time. I like the layout of the place. Two sides that have a bar and air-conditioning and the is middle is the covered outdoor side. I like the middle because I get cold easily. Unfortunately for me is the smokers section also. I highly recommend the chicken wings. That is what i normally get. They are good. Today I had the chips and salsa. I don't recommend it. It was all tomatoes no onions, cilantro, garlic or anything else. The corn nuggets tasted good. The food service was a little slow. The restaurant looked understaffed. I only had the Reuben but it was great enough to give this establishment 5 stars. Love the location and look, plus they have TVs everywhere. I'm guessing they'll be extra busy for the SB tonight! We passed Shenanigans and decided to stop in - Very glad we did! A great selection to choose from on the menu and also offer daily specials. My son ordered the Mahi Francaise and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server stated that the owner had caught a swordfish that day and was offering it as a special - Say no more! It was fresh, flaky, juicy and perfectly seasoned. They are open until 4am on Friday and Saturday, serving drinks and delicious food. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The tiki area is really cool! I also noticed that they have an "all ages" dining room, for families with younger children. The food is always good and the service is fast. I usually order to pick up dinner instead of eating in the restaurant. It's really convenient and fast. I do like to go early so I have time for a beer or two. Always friendly people at the bar. The best thing is they have an attached building where they do their authentic barbecuing. Haven't been in over 20 years but a bunch of friends were looking for a place to meet on St. Patrick's Day and what better location than a place names "Shenanigans". The name says it all. When walking in I was really surprised by the sheer size of the place. It was huge! It was about half full and it had a great atmosphere. We were then given tablets which had the menus to be viewed which I thought to be a fantastic way of doing things. I was taken back by the limited menu that this establishment was offering for the day but being a past restaurant manager, I'm quite aware why such things are done. Get the food out fast, accurate, and hot. However, there in lies the problem. Despite having a limited amount of options (with none being all to difficult to put together--fish and chips, a burger, and of course the corned beef and cabbage) the food arrived barely being edible. First, let me give this place a pointer for their future Irish holiday-- when slicing the corned beef for the sandwiches, it should be thinner than the corned beef used for the platter. Otherwise it is too difficult to bite through and to chew. Additionally, please offer the traditional Reuben Sandwich with saurkraut and dressing and not just an undergrilled corned beef sandwich where the cheese isn't even melted. My wife ordered a medium rare burger which came out so well done and dry, we had to send it back. A party of 8 and not one person finished their plate. When surveying the group, only 1 liked their dish (cuddos to whoever prepared the shepherds pie). While the service was fine and the atmosphere above average--the food will ensure this will not ba a location my friends and I will frequent. I guess you learn that not every Bar with an Irish name knows how to celebrate St. Patrick's day. Overall, a huge disappointment. read more

I walked in someone yelled to sit anywhere in Hollywood you were seated, It was not full about 10 clients in total 2 in the bar The table I wanted was dirty so I waved at one of the servers and asked if she could clean the table the death look I go said it all. Then my server came to the table with no smiles and seemed annoyed ordered my drink and started with a French onion soup 30 minutes later I got my soup and definitely had been sitting at the back for a while as the cheese was hard and the soup was not hot. then ordered grilled wings and it's as if I was something strange when I asked what flavor I wanted. As soon as we sat down we realized our table wasn't cleaned and had sticky residue and left over food stuck on to it. I had to ask the hostess to wipe it down for us. None of the cooks had hair/beard nets on which is a sure fire way to guarantee you'll be finding a hair in your food. We waited 45 minutes for 10 wings and fries that were horrible and flavorless. Love this spot... my first time there and a good sports bar atmosphere. They have indoor and outside seating options. We went early so not really busy for reservation. I'm not sure if they accept reservations anyway. The service was goo, very attentive and the food was in point. They have a lot of options that are actually good. Not just your typical bar food but everything from pizza to sandwiches and salads. They do have televisions which is what you'd expect from a sports bar. Parking is easy as they have a lot. Great place in South Broward to grab a beer and watch a game, or honestly, all the games! The walls are lined with TVs! The staff was friendly, and so were the patrons. They have a big menu with plenty of options. I chose the Philly Wrap, which was tasty; the fries were seasoned and crunchy. They have a full bar if beer is not your thing. There is additional covered outdoor seating and a private parking lot that does fill up for busier game days, so get there early, if you want a bar seat. What a good choice! The dark meat was fall off the bone perfect. The white meat was cooked but not dry and full of flavor. I upped the sides from options like fries and coleslaw to smashed poatoes and broccoli. The potatoes were great and a huge portion. The broccoli was steamed with garlic. The place was crowded and service was slow but they everything was spot on. There are more screens than walls. Don't expect it to be quiet inside. We had to flag her down to get the bill but to be fair to her it was directly after the Saint Patrick's day parade and it is an Irish bar that was very busy. Came here to meet up with some friends. Sat in the lovely "patio" between the two bars. Even though it was Sunday they had some great specials on food and drinks. I had a Shock Top and then ordered a half portion of onion rings. They were quite good. The a few of us ordered the rib special. It was a full rack served with french fries. We loved the ribs and the two types of barbecue sauces we could enjoy with it. The portions were huge and we had plenty left to take home.
