While walking around the yellow green farmers market we noticed this location. The market just opened so there were plenty of seats available. This spot is truly a hidden gem that still has room for improvement. Easy to find if you follow the video directions listed on their Instagram. No advance reservations so if you a a large party try to arrive early. The live band was a nice touch for a Sunday. Our server Robert was the best and made great recommendations! The sticky wings and waffles is the best! Air fried wings in Thai glaze and the fluffiest waffles for just $20! The lobster roll can be served hot or chilled but I recommend hot. Shrimp and grits need work bc grits were lumpy. The juices were meh as the pineapple juice was really dark, the sour apple tasted like an extra tart lime and the mango lemonade had zero mango flavor. The ran out of oxtail so I opted for the 4steez (regular) mac and cheese for $12. Portions are small for the mac and cheese more like an appetizer but it did taste good. Bottle of Prosecco costs a staggering $40 which is a surprise in this venue. Parking starts at $15 for first hour and $3 every hour after in the lot outside of the market. They allowed us to move to a larger table that was empty next to us. The chicken and waffles were ok as well...the drinks were good and the restaurant looks very nice for what it is and where it's located. The wait time isn't bad because it's located at the farmers market. You can walk around and enjoy the different booths while you wait. I found this place through TikTok and was excited to check it out, especially for the food and the ambiance. They didn't have steak knives available, so we had to use plastic utensils, which made cutting the steak difficult. The waffles were overcooked, and while I asked for the Thai chili sauce on the side, the wings themselves were pretty bland without it. It seems like the flavor really depends on that sauce being poured on top. They don't serve alcohol, which was fine with us, but worth noting for anyone expecting a drink with their meal. I'm guessing the name "Dubs" refers to the fact that most items on the menu are priced at $20. Service: Our waitress was Aria and she was amazing. Very kind and attentive! I love restaurants that the owner will not allow the ship to sink, Ray was making sure that everyone was taken care of and happy with their food. We had an issue where my sister was allergic to strawberries and we didn't realize it was on the French Toast and the Owner Ray didn't hesitate to Recook the dish and bring it back. That is such quality customer service where we should have asked what came on it but the instant remedy without making us feel like shit it so Too Tier. Food: Was delicious we had the Shrimp and Grits, Steak & Eggs, & waffles with Bacon. Very well cooked and flavorful, very impressed with how the food is prepared. : I love the concept of $20 brunch and all the decor and aesthetic! Very unique and the art is wonderful. We went last Saturday with our baby for a little family outing to the yellow green market. I had wanted to try a lobster roll from The Trap for a while which I think has merged with dubs brunch bar. When we asked we were told we could order to eat in or take out. We decided to stay, the menu clearly says 20% gratuity added to all checks dine-in. We ordered a lobster roll (hot/butter) and a side crab cake to share. Food came out fast. Lobster roll was good but the bread was soggy and the crab cake could have been cooked a little longer. The food was good enough where I would have returned but our server ruined that for us. While closing out, we clarified that 20% was added to the check after we paid and she said "yes but that does not go to me, that goes to them" and points into the restaurant. My husband and I were confused and now uncomfortable at this point so I said I think I have cash I will leave some one the table before we leave, she then said I'll wait and proceeded to stand there at our table. This made us feel super uncomfortable and we were both aware the 20% gratuity went to her, the server. We had other friends go that same day and we found out the same server did the exact same thing to them. So because of that experience, we won't be going back to try anything else nor would we recommend this restaurant to our friends! Me and my family were in Florida visiting and we decided to check out Dubs Brunch Bar. I gave this place an extra star because the owner was really nice. I ordered the chicken and waffles. We also ordered a slushy drink which was $20.(very overpriced for a slushy if you ask me but it is free refills on the slushy) I did not get a refill it wasn't a good slushy. We waited over an hour for our food and it wasn't HOT! The chicken and waffles that I ordered did not come with a mixture of chicken wings. They gave me all legs. (When I asked about the chicken, the waitress responded that I didn't request to have all flats) my thought was; ma'am I did request all legs either! I wanted a mixture! ( plus I didn't know I had to request a mix of chicken) I just ended up saying OK because I knew if I sent it back, we would have to wait a very long time to get it anyway. The chicken is air fried so pieces of my chicken were mushy. The shrimp and grits were OK a lot better than my meal. Nothing really too special about the French toast. The lobster Mac and cheese was served cold, it was salty, and was really Mac and Cheese with a small bit of lobster on top.
