I usually don't write reviews but this place is the worst bowling experience I have ever had. I have been here 3 different times each with family buying multiple lanes. First, All of the teenage girls (except for one, she gives out the shoes in the black shirt ) they put behind the bowling front desk is extremely rude. The music is so loud you can't even think .They have one waitress that was attending to all of the main lanes took forever to get a drink and was always missing at least one drink. Then I get up to bowl and the lanes are waxed so much if you put any type of spin, the ball is going straight in the gutter. Made it to the point that I didn't even want to throw the ball down the lane. I go to tell the waitress she tells me " I don't maintain the lanes " in a very rude way. Go to the front desk before I could even finish my complaint she moves us to different lane then walks away. Different lane same problem. I would not recommend this place looks like it's ran by teenagers that don't care. read more

Somewhat surprised by the measures they took to assist in social distancing. Decided to take my children bowling today as a super surprise (something that was a common practice 8 months ago). He lanes were only being assigned on an every other basis and there was a barrier between the seating areas of each area. Masks were posted as a Requirement if not seated or eating / drinking. Unfortunately no one standing up to bowl kept a mask on (as the areas leading to the lanes from The seating were not separated by barriers) but with the every other seating- the suggested 6 foot distance was covered. The gaming areas were a free for all/ at your own vital risk and I cannot give an opinion in the other areas as I did not visit them. But if your just looking to bowl, and you sanitize the inside of your bowling ball / do t touch your face/ wear a mask.... Shenaniganz might just be okay. But maybe not.. who knows. read more

Place is great if you want a variety of things to do, but if your looking for quality bowling do not go here. The lanes are very dry, the pins have issues resetting, and the ball return was horrible on the lane we were on. My daughters ball would get stuck every time. Also, if you are on a wait list do not get on their Wi-Fi as the text will not go through. When I went to check where I was in the list my lane had been given away 30 minutes prior. They sent two text notifications and I didn't get either until I disconnected for their Wi-Fi. The girl at the desk was great and rectified the situation immediately though. Our bowling lane was broken. The pins took forever in between lanes to reset, so we had to have time added just to finish one game of bowling. The staff was nice, but the equipment was old and outdated. Many of the arcade games were broken or out of service. This is a fun place ... until you have to go to the restroom. The floors are sticky and dirty. The water on most of the faucets did not work at all. I kept trying one after another and finally found a working one (cold water only) on the very end. Then when I reached for a paper towel, the dispenser was completely empty. So, I resorted to using the blow dryer for drying my hands. The first one I tried did not work. I have been in roadside parks with nicer restrooms. This location is a regular spot for my family, friends, and coworkers. I don't need to go into detail about what I love/dislike about this place; the other reviews pretty much sum it up. It's a bit pricey for an entertainment/amusement place, but fair-priced comparatively to other businesses. If you know when their deals are, you should be good in managing your time/money there. Their food is good but, as mentioned by other reviews, a bit expensive. P.S. If you're a regular here, I suggest you look into getting their summer passes. You can pretty much do all the main attractions for 4-hours every day for the duration of the summer break. read more

We made plans to celebrate my niece's bday in this place and it was a bad experience from beginning to end. We arrived early to set up and spend time with family and friends, but we mostly spent the entire time chasing employees down to ask questions and get guidance. Our host didn't have that much experience, so he was not able to help us that much. Later, after we went a couple of times to ask questions and get guidance, they sent another person to help. Did it help? A little bit, but not that much. Even though that the service didn't meet our expectations, we provided a 20% tip. We arrived to the conclusion that it was not the host's fault but the company's fault for no providing training to new employees. To make the experience even more interesting, they messed up our bill at the end and they charged us twice for the tip. We spent about 15 more minutes to resolve this issue. Even with all of this happening, we decided to stay for bowling and continue with my niece's bday celebration. We didn't want to be changing venue since we were already there. We decided to give another chance to the location. Well, it was a big mistake. We paid for two lanes and we ordered food. We had to literally be chasing employees down to provide service to the lanes. Our wait fluctuated from 7 minutes to 15 minutes to start bowling again. The food took forever to arrive, almost like 10 minutes before our hour was over. The entire lounge had only two employees to help everyone. We had to walk outside the lounge area to ask for help and to get our food served. The funny thing is that there were about 8-9 employees gathered around one person watching videos while other areas, such as the lounge, was struggling to provide service to customers. I asked, if one of those employees that was watching videos was able to go inside the lounge and assist, and I was told that they can only be in the main lanes. I wondered how can they have 8 employees doing nothing while customers were needing in the lounge for food and technical assistance. We didn't really enjoy the place and the service provided was awful. We asked to talk to the manger Andrew and he only said sorry and he offered a discount next time you come. We didn't want a discount, we just wanted to have a good time and be able to get a good service. He had the opportunity at that moment to make our experience better, but he decided not to go that route. He just apologized. Definitely, this is not a place that I will come back again. I give 2 stars because of the laziness of ONE employee, it would have been 5 plus if not for her. We had a large group of people we were celebrating a 3 yr old's birthday it was last minute. Our waitress was FANTASTIC & well organized. I had a problem with card machine a young lady quickly helped me. So I have no complaints about actual customer service. My problem was with a lady welcoming people & answering the phone. We used bowling lanes #1 & # 2, when we all left we had forgotten a large birthday bag with several gifts & cards with money in it. I called to ask if they could check bowling lanes 1&2 she said sure a few minutes later she came back & said said No sorry if we find we will call you & hung up but I never gave her a number. My son didn't know I called so he called also same lady same response. He decided to go back up there thinking he would see someone with it. He went straight to lanes 1&2 and the bag was exactly where we told the lady it was, he confronted her about it & she said sorry I guess I should have looked myself I sent a busboy to look instead. I, as most people do, have a check list of "deal breakers" when it comes to dating: 1) Can't be over 30 yrs old 2) No kids 3) Never married 4) Likes everything I like 5) Hates everything I hate Other deal breakers are: The car you drive ( I prefer trucks ) usage of prescription drugs, talking intimate with ex's, cell phone being "blown up" constantly, repetitive talking, neediness, public affection, affection unwarranted, ultra high libido, purring, seductive smiles, over flirting, not giving a fuck, bugging the shit out of me and #'s 1-5. The list goes on and is subject to change depending on the relationship. All that being said, I have broken them all. I took my current SO and her two teenage punk kids to Shenanny. It made me realize two things; How can I trust myself, if I break my own rules and that I am most certainly an alcoholic. It was the younger kids thirteenth birthday and she(it) was asking me where we should take him and his friend, sister and her friend. I thought about Shenaniganz for whatever freakin reason. They have an arcade, bowling lanes with giant flat screens (of movie theatre proportions) and a bar, and a restaurant. There is an indoor go-cart track and a rock climbing thingy to boot. The restaurant serves good food, the bar is charming and has four bowling lanes as well. It's a more adult crowd, if you will, and I know you will. The problem is that I never found myself "needing a drink" until this day. I caught (busted) myself sneaking off to the bar to get a drink. I usually drink beer, but ordered shots to take the edge off these little turds and their "Shenaniganz". It really is a fun place and I actually had a good time. I found this place since I past by it every day and it always catches my eye with the neon lights..and sign with their daily speicals "kids eat free" whatever day.. "your food free if not served in 15 mins" .. and of course being next to the Toyota dealership. So its easy to spot and easy to get to know since they finally open the exit near by! FINALLY ROCKWALL has done something.. ok back to my real review.. :P Ok so I was trying to plan this so called bday party here my bff.. and she wanted to do something fun and just chill and close to home. We both called on separate occassions to see about prices on lanes and stuff like that. Their service sucks.. they didnt give us answers and told us a planner would call.. it took them 3 days to call me back.. it took them 2 days and 10++++ calls by my gf to get a response back.. Needless to say we did go just to have fun.. just the customer service is lacking.. This place has it all.. a little arcade for the kid in you.. and you have to use a card..thats a bummer..and it gives you tickets.. think of Daves n Buster.. tons of bowling lanes.. glow in the dark lanes.. pretty cool and nice seating area for the bowlers... privates room for the partys.. and they have a bar with bowling lanes for the 21+ crowds, which I believe it was called the Z lounge starts @ 9 pm.. has a bar area..and nice sofas.. .and big screens in front of ya while you bowl.. SO FOCUS!.... and the regular bar/ restaurant area; Rozie's grill. Overrall the prices fare really well about 5-9 bucks on drinks.. I loved their blue voodoo-- they make it was ice cream!!!!!!!!!!...sodas are like 2 bucks.. as for food about 7-12 bucks.. its greasy..sticky.. and hearty for the bowler.. They have a variety of foods; burgers, pizza, salads, and more. I tired the fried calamari, it was breaded with ranch breadcrumbs; just plain wrong if you ask me!! ..the fried pickles are breaded like a tempura batter.. it was decent... their wings was pretty good.. it wasnt spicy.. just make sure you dip in ranch.. the lettuce wraps where really good to me.. but not enough chicken filling!! Overrall the food was decent.. just enough to make ya full for a little bit! Rates for the pool is 12.50 hourly but the guy mention that its pro rated..so that was pretty awesome!! Go carts are like 10-12 bucks depending on how many laps.. Bowling is the same way money wise.. the more people the more discounts.. we happen to get free shoes!! It's a fun night out for no less than $200 (and that's with no bar tab). 4 of us went bowling one Friday night and just that alone was $78... to bowl ONE game. The last few times we played laser tag two of the vests were broken and taken out of service after our game ended, and they were like sorry for ya. For as much money as our games cost, you'd think they'd comp the two broken vests with a game voucher or something, but they don't care after they get your money. Also, I saw the bartender let a guy puking alcohol stumble out and get in his truck and try to leave. He was so drunk, he thought he was in another city! Isn't it the responsibility of the bartender to not let those things happen? read more

Shenaniganz...oh Shenaniganz. How do I review this place? Rosie's Grill is disgusting. The food is extremely average, but the outrageous prices make it disgusting. So, if you're going to Shenaniganz...go on a full stomach. They have some pretty nice arcade games, laser tag, laser maze, mini-golf, go-karts and bowling. The prices are definitely on the high side, but it's worth it for the quality of their games. The cosmic mini-golf is a lot of fun (especially if you win...which I did.) Oh and they also have a mechanical bull! I didn't actually ride it. However, I did watch a lot of people ride it. I never thought watching people fall off a mechanical bull would be so enjoyable, but it was. My advice? Go there for the fun and games...not the food. Update for the owner comment: The "outrageous" comment was made because the food is not worth the price. Just like Chili's...they overcharge you for the "food" they serve. Perhaps, I just caught the grill on a bad night, but all of the food was severely bland. Fresh food is always a plus, but it doesn't mean much if it's not being cooked and seasoned properly. Also, I've seen a few similar reviews of the food, so it looks like I am not the only one who feels this way. read more

First I'm going to discuss the restaurant, Rosie's Grill. Their food is hit and miss. When it hits though, it's really good. The chicken fried steak makes the top of my list. It's huge, it's delicious, it's tender and always crispy. I prefer to pair it with their garlic seared green beans instead of the mixed veggies. The ribs are awesome as well but they do put a little too much sauce on them. Their burgers are also very tasty. Cooked to order and a nice variety of toppings. The misses include any of their pizzas, the monte cristo (too much bread and too little meat) and the french dip. The venue as an entertainment hub is very clean. For the amount of people that run in and out of there, I'm amazed at how well this place is maintained. They also host different events for kids and adults. During the summer, they have an all you can play special for teenagers around $20. Drop off the kids at 8, and enjoy a night out until midnight. They have lock in's for kiddos as well. Karaoke is featured in the 18+ Z-Lounge on Wednesday nights. Free bowling and nice drink specials are offered! read more

I have been to Shenaniganz several times. The first time i was on a date and we went to that rosie's resturaunt thing. There wasn't hardly anything on the menu that was very healthy but i guess that's not the point of going there. i had mac n chz with toast and it was very good. then my date tipped horribly i remember and we went to play video games. mostly teenagers working there. but hey they did their job. so i don't really care how old they are. my date complained to them that a machine didn't give me my tickets (embarressing) and they just gave me way more tickets than...i had won. which was sweet but....what was i really going to get with the tickets anyhow. the next time there i was drunk and had heard that my friends were singing karaoke on a wednesday night at the lounge. i didn't have much money but i really wanted to continue drinking and the beers were 5 dollars! i was in shock. i mean i bought two anyways then got a mixed drink. which was horribly small and cost like 7.50 i think. the drink wasn't even strong. but i had a fun time with my friends singing so i guess that worked out. but come on. i'm used to 2.50 beers and 4 dollar drinks in dallas i guess. rockwall is so overpriced. geeze. read more

If you have kids to entertain, or are a kid yourself, this is your place. We had FIVE, yes FIVE, kids b/t 6-14 to try and pacify...this place did it. There are INDOOR go-karts, an arcade, a pint-size mechanical bull, Laser Tag and bowling. They even have a restaurant and bar with TVs all over the place to watch the latest and greatest sporting event. This place rocked. I think I had more fun than the kids did. If you go, ask for Amy as your lane server. She was awesome and VERY patient when we asked her to put up kid bumpers, and then take said kid bumpers down. (For the kids, not for me btw.) If you want a kid-free zone they open a bowling room at night just for 21 and up. This lounge-type space has about 10 lanes, a bar, private restrooms and a pool table. Insider Tip: They have specials that include food so check that out before diving in. But be warned, the food won't win any awards. Note: The arcade is much more catered to kids than adults. Great Customer Service I took my 2 kids there on the 24th of December, in the afternoon for some bowling and Laser Tag. We paid for an all-day pass of bowling, laser tag, & billards for $25.99. It included a $10 game card. After 2 games of bowling, we went to play laser tag, only to find we needed 4 people to play, and they had not had anyone to play all day. It was a slow day. The 25.99 pass was a waste, since we only wanted to 2 play to games of bowling. I talked to the manager, Gilbert, He agreed to refund me the cost of the all day passes, and let my kids keep the $10 game card. It was more than I had asked for. We then proceeded to spend the $60 in the arcade. My kids had a great time, before Christmas. I will return often. read more

It's a fun place to take kids & teens. Restaurant, bowling, go cart, lazer tagging, games, and bull riding. Ate at the restaurant and the waitress was supper cool and nice. I ordered the Tostada Salad with my dressing on the side. It was light and refreshing. I loved every bite of it, wished I had more. The kids loved the loaded potato fries, which is like having a baked potato but in french fries form. Long Island was good, not too strong. Horrible service today at Shenniganz in Rockwall Our waitress was nice but not trained well It was her second day and they left her to fend for herself. We had a basketball team and their were never more than four tables plus ours. Granted it was a tough table 6 different checks. It took over an hour just to get our checks. Manager was asked for and never came out to help. I am amending this review. I wrote the above as we were waiting over an hour for the waitress to split up our checks. After asking the poor waitress numerous times the GM finally came over. His name was Victor and he was very apologetic and listened to our concerns. I am adding two stars to my original one star review. Even though it took a long time and numerous attempts the manager was great. We paid our checks and left tips and did not ask for anything. Shenaniganz is a great place for both adults and children. I have been there many times during the day at in the evening. When I went this time, though, it was for adult time. We had a great time in the Z Lounge bowling. It was quieter and nicer in there. Can't say it was necessarily worth the extra money, but we had fun and enjoyed it. The mini golf there is entirely Glow in the Dark. It's a short course but is fun. Kids will love it. Before we left, we played Shuffleboard, which was a lot of fun as well! The selection of things to do there for adults and children is great, which makes it a good place to go as a family. read more

I love going to this place, but be warned it is a bit pricey. Very good food however, definitely recommend the burgers. I think it wouldn't hurt to input air conditioning in the laser tag area because I nearly blacked out due to overheating a couple nights ago afterwards, and I don't have any health issues. I do miss the go karts, but the axe throwing is very fun and something I don't get to see a lot, especially at these types of venues. The rock climbing they have is small but nice. My little cousin loves the summer camps there when they have them. In conclusion to this review, a lot of fun but it is somewhat pricey and hot inside the building (at least during cold temperatures.) read more
