This place used to be part of Old New York, where patrons were treated with respect, feeling like a…read moremember of a club. As it should be. The new owners have no idea what they are doing. Young bimbos can hardly take the place of experienced ladies and gentlemen who understand haberdashery and used to hold court properly. Not only that, there is no longer a steaming machine available to clean, fit and block hats. Further, customers are forced to pay for such incidentals as feathers and cork linings, adding further insult to the "gentlemen's club" feeling that used to exist there. It's a shame that these folks have no idea what they are doing, and this store now exists in name only.
