One of the best lunches around. Loved the menu and the service and you can't beat the beautiful views. Can't wait to go back.

A beautiful venue offering delicious Balkan food, genuinely friendly service and an amazing wine…read morelist (including bottles from far-flung countries like Croatia, Slovenia and Georgia), Oda Wine Garden is a uniquely wonderful place. They have an outdoor dining space bedecked with gorgeous flowers, as well as a cozy indoor dining room. It was a busy night but our server was warm, welcoming and attentive. My glass of Croatian rose wine was well balanced, fruity and a nice pour. Partner's cocktail "Illyrian Beauty" was scrumptious and served straight up (rather than overly diluted with ice, a pet peeve of ours). Shrimp with feta cheese starter was a pleasant surprise, the shrimp bathed in a green sauce made with fresh arugula and garlic. Slices of homemade bread came in handy to mop up that yummy sauce. Half chicken topped with pomegranate and corn was tasty and succulent, came with a generous side of lemon potatoes and well dressed greens. My branzino, a well crisped filet topped with a delicate lemony sauce and healthy greens on the side, was the best preparation of the dish I've ever enjoyed - seriously! It's too easy to ruin this delicate fish, but Oda elevated it to new culinary heights. We will definitely stop by again. Hint: They're popular so reservations are a good idea.

I've had the pleasure and privilege of dining at some of the most reputable establishments in NYC and LA, and this ranks in the top tier. The flavors were intricate yet subtle, and I loved that it was vegetable forward. My "Not a Negroni" was the best Negroni I've had, hands down. I wasn't sure how the Rum and Pineapple Amaro would work together, but they were exquisite compliments. The homemade sourdough and butter came out hot and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It was hard to resist ordering more. A simple salad of lettuces, cucumber, cheese and light dressing blew my mind -- perfect for summer. I got the dauphine potatoes, which were like potato croquettes, and the addition of prosciutto made them a hearty and filling dish. The only miss for me were the desserts -- the flavor of the lemon tart was excellent but there was a jello-like encasing that seemed out of place and unnecessary. The mousse also had these strange jello-like pieces in the cream, which didn't really work for me. Next time, I would get the sundae. Our server, Amanda, was friendly and attentive without being overly watchful, and when she got busy, the host came over and helped us order drinks. This place is a gem, and I look forward to returning.

The best bar in Woodstock…read more I wish I could be a first time patron at small talk again, to relive the excitement I felt when I realized this would be my new favorite bar. I moved from Chicago and was looking for a new place to go get drinks after work. Tried many places until someone mentioned small talk to me. I tried the last word cocktail and it's been my go-to every single time I visit. We have tried the ciders, the flights, the food, cocktails and even asked for off-menu suggestions for shots and drinks and these mixologists get it right every single time. It doesn't matter who's behind that bar, is an all star crew, everyone's so nice, knowledgeable and quick. Shoutout to all of you. The place can get packed, but people move fast, with some patience you will be seated within 30 minutes. The lights are dimmed for more intimacy and with some luck you can go upstairs and see an art exposition on your way to the bathroom. If you want a place to decompress, hang out with friends, meet interesting people and make great memories, just become a regular at small talk :)

The server was extremely knowledgeable, and I had a green bean cocktail I never would've imagined would taste that good. We arrived around 7:45 p.m., ordered drinks, and then waited an entire hour before receiving our appetizer--after the restaurant had mostly emptied out. The "nachos" were nothing more than broken tortilla chips topped with vegetarian chili and a few jalapeños. There was virtually no cheese, and I had to ask for sour cream. To make matters worse, they were served with paper plates. During that entire hour, our waitress never once checked on us. She never apologized for the wait, never refilled our drinks, and never asked if we needed anything. We honestly thought our order had been forgotten. The atmosphere wasn't much better. We heard other tables complaining, glasses crashing to the floor, and the entire evening felt like we were on a prank show. By 9:15 p.m.--an hour and a half after arriving--we still hadn't received our entrees, which were simply a grilled chicken salad, chicken fingers with fries, and a kielbasa dinner. I can't comment on the food because we never got it. At 9:20 p.m., I politely got up and asked our waitress how much longer it would be. Without even looking up, she snapped, "She's working on it." No apology. No explanation. Just attitude. At that point, we'd had enough. I asked for the check for our drinks and appetizer so we could leave. She stormed away. When she returned, she dropped the check on our table--which still hadn't been cleared from the appetizer--and walked away. When I asked her what her name was, she ignored me completely. I then asked the blonde bartender for the waitress's name. She first told me it was Paula, then quickly corrected herself and said, "Oh wait, it's actually Jess," once she realized why I was asking, so I'm still not sure which is correct. The waitress appeared to be a heavy-set woman in her late 30s or early 40s with brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, which should help management identify who waited on our table. Before we left, we overheard the bartender telling two guests that there was only one server and one bartender working, another employee had been called in too late to make a difference, and the cook on duty wasn't the strongest, which was why the kitchen was so slow. While I understand that staffing shortages happen, none of this was ever communicated to us. A simple explanation and apology would have gone a long way. I paid the bill and left. We have a vacation home just 15 minutes away and dine in the area often. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will never return. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, rude service, and disappointing food, this was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had.

We had gone to Andes, NY for a yoga retreat and hadn't tried this place yet, so we made a point of stopping on our way out of the Andes and that was the best decision. Their cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Very relaxed atmosphere and the feeling when walking in is clean and refreshing energy. Very simple set up which makes new places less overwhelming and you can focus on the purpose for visiting which is coffee and wine. We got mocha lattes as the one worker suggested that's a perfect drink to sip on while on your travels home. It wasn't too sweet, clean tasting and absolutely delicious.
