There were 3 girls behind the bar but one seemed to be doing most of the bar work. As I put on my jacket to leave, I finally had the attention of one of the girls so I decided to take my chances and stick with my dinner plan. She got me a menu and asked for my drink order. There weren't any hard ciders on tap but they did have canned Awestruck (local). I noticed the fried pickle appetizer and asked her about it. She told me they were spears and very popular. I decided to take her recommendation and ordered them, along with a Cooley's Handmade Burger with sautéed mushrooms and swiss cheese. My pickle fries came out first since they were an app and I can tell you two things about them...the portion was huge and they were absolutely the best I've ever had! Not long afterward, my burger arrived and that was really tasty as well. Despite the fact that they were set up outside (under the tents they brought) in the pouring rain, everything was so fresh and tasty! The serving team was all very sweet and they made sure my husband and I got food set aside for us specifically so we could actually eat. Everyone I talked to loved the food and it was so nice to have food at our wedding that felt fun and interesting, not just your standard 'chicken or beef' wedding meal! Jocelyn was also great throughout the process about answering all my questions & helping figure out how much glassware and dinnerware we needed to rent. She even was able to add a custom item onto our wedding menu that has sentimental value for us (and it tasted exactly like I remember!). They also wouldn't take our order initially because they had no buzzers left. We came back two times to see if any buzzers had come back.
