From the moment I talked to Marcie on the phone to hearing her tell me to take care as I was leaving, my experience with Shepherd Eye Center was outstanding! I have a chalazion on my eyelid and it is incredibly painful. I've never had one before and explained what was going on to Marcie who was incredibly comforting and professional. I've been to the office twice since the episode started almost 2 weeks ago. I've seen Dr. Reddy and Dr. Montgomery who were both very nice and assured me that my eye will be back to normal soon. While the waiting room and other areas have had quite a few people in them I didn't have to wait long. The Dr's didn't rush me and I felt that all my questions were answered and that they cared about me. I noticed also that they had a great selection of glasses available. I work with seniors and know that if they, or people of any age, need competent, caring folks taking care of their eyes...Shepherd Eye Center is the best place to go! this place has loooooong wait times if you have an appointment expect to spend a couple extra hours. After your appointment is started you are herded to different offices for different test then sent to wait again. the staff is rude and uncaring with poor customer service skills. It seems to me that if you are paying for a service it would be better. read more

Do not see Dr. Adam Rovit for Pediatric Optometry. He misdiagnosed my daughter's vision. Which we found out after filling his prescription, having my daughter cry about her eyes, getting a second opinion by a Pediatric Optometrist which was voted best in Las Vegas and found out that her vision is very different in her left eye from her right eye. Dr. Adam Rovit gave her the same prescription for both eyes. He didn't have the personality to deal with children. He also doesn't offer any information to his diagnosis. I had to ask questions. A good doctor knows its your child first time getting their eyes checked. And the parents first time. Information about his diagnosis is normal. which he didn't offer. Besides his awefullness his front desk staff will also judge you if your 1 year old has a tantrum in the waiting area. And they have a children's room which the front desk did not offer us. About 40 minutes later.... a nice staff member told us about this other room. But before that you just heard the front desk staff say "oh my god" loud enough for me to hear and i was not sitting in the closest waiting chair to her. The entire staff besides the one that offered me the childs room did not have the sort of professional cheer that you'd expect an office who sees very young children should have. Especially for their very first eye exam ever. do NOT go here for pediatric Optometry. Dr. Andrea Radtke was well worth the drive and once you visit her you will see what a true Pediatric Optometrist should be like. my daughter is 4 year old. Nurse dialted her eyes...and asked her to read numbers . she was not being nice. getting four year to dilate and read numbers is going to be tricky if you are not nice to them.my daughter is usually unlike this...we had taken her for many checkups at other places including dentist...she is very cooperative.since the attitude of the nurse was not good and she was kind of being rude.it was difficult to get eye readings for her.later after dilation...they wanted us to wait for 15 minutes and they called us for another checkup using an instrument.during this time, she has to see through the instrument to get the results.they did not have right chair for the kid to see through the instrument.they asked to sit on her knees on the chair.even after doing this, she was not able to reach the instrument properly.we tried taking her on our lap....and doing it.my daughter had to go through all this mess.....it took a while to get the reading.I am surprised, their being pediatric ophthalmologist, they did not have the right chair for the kids.how do they expect to get right readings.after all this, when we visited the doctor.....he was in a rush to finish the appointment.he gave a bunch of papers and rounded off some terms and asked us read through it .if we had to reach a bunch of documents online, why will we go to doctors office .is he not supposed to explain us her condition and discuss with us .she is four years old having sight problem, do you understand how much concerned would the parents be.he cannot leave the office, until we are satisfied. .I am not sure, how well I can trust the readings I got here .Now, because of all this I have to visit another doctor to confirm her condition read more

Really impressed with this operation. They are extremely organized and efficient. The staff is very friendly and professional. Loved Dr. Fant. Only small negative was the wait time in between each step of the visit, but that seems to be a part of any doctor visit. I have met people in the waiting room that have come from as far as Laughlin to see these doctors so that says a lot. read more

Just picked up my glasses and it is the worst prescription I have ever had in 40 yers of wearing glasses. CANT see worth crap. Now they can't see me for 2 to 3 week to find out why the glasses are so bad. Great customer service NOT. read more

Shepard eye center is the best managed doctor's office my wife and I (and a number of our friends) have ever encountered. Especially impressive given the size and volume of patients. Dr. Ravi Reddi and Dr. Taylor took the time to understand and properly diagnose and provide relief to a persistent problem that multiple other eye docs didn't resolve. Whoever setup and manages their patient flow should give lessons to the rest of the doc offices in the Las Vegas valley. They truly deserve an award for efficiency and smooth patient flow. read more

Dr Reddys is great BUT ...........his staff or ........ My regular Dr called to tell why they had not gotten back to me. They said they had called Dr Reddey 3 times to get my medical records and they had gotten no call back or response of any kind. So I called and I told Dr Reddys nurse this. She basically said insultingly that my Dr did it wrong - should have gone thru medical records. I said - my Dr was anxious and wanted to talk to Dr Reddy and get information. Dr Reddys nurse rudly told me again it was my Dr's fault because everyone knows you have to go thru medical records. No explanation for no return of tmy regualar Doctors phone calls. I did find out Dr Reddy is on vacation. Whoever is covering for him is really missing up. I kept trying to get off the phone and she kept argueing. Finally I asked for a supervisor. I waned to confirm my appointment before I hung up since it was the first one I could get and it was 17 days away. read more

Be prepared to WAIT!!!!!! Staff is very rude! You spend most of the time with the very rude techs anyway and only 5-10 with the actual doctor. Went today for my son's 2nd visit. Our first time there we complained as well and got a partial refund. Today was a 6 month follow up. Was hesitant to come back figured it's just a quick follow up. Boy was I wrong. After waiting in the waiting room for 1 HOUR I went out and just asked for my money back as we weren't even seen yet. Again I had to encounter the rude people up front and left. Will NOT GO BACK! Dr. Ravindranath Reddy and the staff at the Henderson office do an excellent job in treating and caring for clients. The office is run efficiently and the staff is friendly. There is no feeling of being in a processing mill, and give a thorough examination. Dr. Reddy is an excellent ophthalmologist. read more

I felt like I was on an assembly line. I sat on one seat, then taken to another where I waited again, then to another seat where I waited again. And to only spend less than five minutes with Dr. R.T., who seemed more in a hurry by opening the door of the exam room trying to leave while I'm still talking to him. So rude, doesn't care one bit. Dr. Raymond Theodosis is Amazing! I had one quick appointment with him and learned a lot more than I had all my trips in here. Unfortunately, the staff is not so caring. To them, their daily lives are routine..to me, being a 38 healthy female just founding out that I have glaucoma and could possibly lose my vision with any episode.. is not so routine. I called the office a couple times with questions about my episodes and if I needed to be seen. They rudely react by saying "you cant be seen until your surgery date"- (end of july).. (made appointment june 1st, that's how backed up they are. I felt like a burden when I would call even though I was having vision issues. So, I decided to leave shepherd eye and seek another eye institute. I couldn't be happier. The dr. saw me right away and agreed that I need the surgery sooner due to my intermittent episodes. My laser surgery is tomorrow. I am so thankful to Dr Theodosis for initially discovering my glaucoma and referring me to Dr Eisenberg but the staff horribly unfriendly, unhelpful, just plain mean and the unavailability to the needs of patients have made me seek elsewhere. And I am so glad I did. My dr now let me cry to him about the issues Ive been dealing with and to hear the words.."your surgery is in 2 days, we will take care of you!" ah so relieved. read more
