I found this location on a whim, trying to find someone who took my Mom's insurance for her cataract surgery. I was a little skeptical from some reviews, but at the end of the day, I am happy with this choice. The staff here is very professional and super friendly. From the front desk, to the assistants, to the doctors. Top notch! They have been treating my Mom so well here, and have her best interest at heart. The surgery on her right cataract went really well except for some mild pain during the procedure. The overall results have been great for her. But she is in no hurry to get her left eye done as the pain was a little more than she expected on her right eye. I think that came from her IV not being the best, as she has tiny veins that are hard to put an IV in. I honestly do not think she was medicated enough during her procedure. I'm thankful she's a trooper! My only complaint is from her last visit, where the person doing her eye exam seemed to be in a hurry, and not explaining things well to my Mom during her testing. That was the worst of all visits we've had here, if you can call that worse. I'd prefer that person not to test my Mom again in the future. Outside of that, I recommend this location. Everyone here is great at what they do, and customer service is top notch! Another thing to note, there's no consistency here. We are seeing totally different people from when we first started. I cannot say if that is by design or not, maybe your visits go in stages? But everyone we've come in counter with have been super friendly and professional. read more

Only my first time coming to this place. Enormous building from the outside a, cannot miss. Plenty seating inside and fairly quick service. TV monitors all over the place running helpful information to things you may be experiencing or noticing about your symptoms and aches. Staff is all around polite and accommodating, no weird or off putting encounters. Dr Dennis Giang, OD is who I chose to see as when you register it's a select your doctor option. The Coronado Center Dr location is pretty big and clean. Dr Giang first impression is real easy easy going and you can sense his sincerity. I was recently a patient at the Center for Sight. Dr. Pernula treated me for a blurry spot I had trouble with in my left eye. You could not ask for a better eye doctor. He quickly puts you at ease with his friendly personality, does not hesitate to explain what is happening, and answers all questions. I also cannot say enough good about his nurse Ashley. Ashley is very outgoing and efficient yet conveys a helpful attitude that makes you feel like the most important patient in the building. Ashley goes the extra mile to ensure you are well cared for in the exam room. Employees like Ashley make patients like me want to tell everyone about the outstanding customer service I received there. I also want to comment on Michelle at the front reception desk. My treatment took slightly longer than expected, and I arrived at the front later than closing time. I was headed for the exit to wait for my ride outside, but Michelle would not have it. Michelle insisted that I wait inside where it was warm rather than outside in the cold and even sent Kevin, the Office Manager, to "retrieve" me when I attempted to sneak out so they could all go home on time. I admit it was pretty chilly outdoors, and I appreciate Michelle's desire to ensure my comfort while waiting. What a super person she is. Thank you, Michelle. Dr Mansouri at Center for Sight saw me 1 year ago because my visual field test done by my optometrist was concerning in my left eye. My optometrist was worried and referred me to Dr Mansouri thinking she would request an MRI to check what was happening to my optic nerve. After a frustrating experience, Dr Mansouri said there was nothing wrong with my optic nerve and never once suggested any other tests to probe into my issue. She spent 5 minutes with me. She's supposed to be a specialist in this area. Well, now my vision has become noticeably worse in my left eye. Turns out, I have a brain tumor in that area which is what is affecting my optic nerve. Dr Mansouri should have discovered this a year ago and saved me from losing my vision. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

Tried to make an appointment for an eye exam at the Henderson location, was told they don't do VSP exams there and only do them way out at their Summerlin location which is wacky. First available appointment was Aug 25 which doesn't work for my wife as she is a teacher and she would not make the latest appt they had at 3:30. Whoever it was taking appts did not even try to find something workable and did not even offer up a cancellation option. I stated we received text & email confirming 9:20am appointment showed her the text. She stated, "Well, my computer shows you're scheduled for 10:05am but I'll check you in now and maybe they'll call you in early." I am trying to get an Ophthalmologist who takes Health Plan of Nevada so my granddaughter can have medical care. She is a "Domestic Violence Victim" and we have been trying to get her eye injuries examied from the horrible beating she took. Needless to say SOME of the front desk people in this office think it's a joke to hang up after we waited for 45 minutes to speak with someone! NOT FUNNY AND THEY SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. We have now been hung up two more times in the last one hour and they stay silent and won't respond. I'm sure the doctors are great, but their front staff leave much to be desired. read more

Office is nice and the front desk staff was pleasant. However I was rushed through the whole process of having my eyes checked and my eye complaints weren't being acknowledged when I was being checked. My eye still has the same problem they were supposed to check. The doctor seemed more interested in trying to get a date with his nurse or showing off than helping me out with my issue or at least helping me find a solution, I am VERY disappointed. This place was highly recommend by my wife after she received treatment for her astigmatism. My husband went to the "Center for Sight" in Henderson Nevada for a routine eye exam. He saw Dr. Sylvia Chang. She said she saw a large mass behind his right eye and sent us for imaging, Then they needed another image, we did that. They called and scheduled us to see a specialist. We went to see the Specialist. He did not have the images. It took them 4 hours to send the images. The Specialist said there is no mass. We were so relieved. 2 months of thinking my husband had some sort of large tumor in his head. Why did The Center for Sight not call us and tell us there was no tumor? Why schedule us with a Specialist? We went back to The Center for Sight and asked those questions. The receptionist keep saying that "she" did not tell us that. Like, her personally. No one wants to take any responsibility. This is a bad and unprofessional place. Stay away! read more

Dr. Licina is an exceedingly rare and exceptional professional. I was referred to her by an urgent care physician who felt I had a serious eye problem (he got me in to see her in less than 24 hours). Dr. Licina was completely prepared for my visit. She had ordered a comprehensive evaluation of my eye and knew my medical history before walking into the exam room. She is EXTREMELY efficient. There was no banter or small talk and we immediately got to the issue. She explained the problem, told me how we were going to resolve it, gave me a sample of the required medication to use because the pharmacy "will probably take a few days" before they get it (she was correct), and scheduled a new appointment to see if my eye pressure would react adversely to the medication (which it did). When the eye drops prescribed to treat the rising eye pressure were rejected by my insurance company; she changed the prescription by breaking the name brand product into it's two generic subcomponents! Now the medication is covered and my eye pressure is dropping. This is a far-sighted Doctor, possibly clairvoyant, who is many, many steps ahead of the rest of this world. She operates on a much higher level. I will reiterate the fact that she is supremely efficient (every minute of the exam is important and devoted to the problem) but is completely present when examining you and I have rarely, if ever, felt so cared for by a physician. She is extremely knowledgeable, listens, answers all of my questions, and obviously cares a great deal about people. All doctors have high intelligence and most have compassion but Dr. Lucina is an extremely rare combination of both at the highest of levels. I am completely grateful it was her I got to see during this difficult time. The entire Center functions like a well oiled machine. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring, and helpful. You might have to wait sometimes but you are seeing the very best and they are BUSY (They accomplish a lot in a day). Everything is clean and the eye healthy videos they show in the lobby have given me some good eye exercising habits (which I did not even know I needed). One of the most effective and impressive operations I have ever seen. read more

I was at Southwest Medical and I asked for a referral. They recommended Center for Sight. Using their call back service being #6 in the cue I never got a call after 2 hours so I called back and was #5 in the cue. I stayed online and after 22 minutes they answered. The appointment person was rude and not helpful at all. I tried to make an appointment, I have insurance and they would not make the appointment. The referral I kept telling her was just a recommendation and not a referral for a problem as the family has bad astigmatisms and needs more than an OD. Call taker never would make an appointment for me and at this point, I would never try them or recommend them. I have been going to this facility for about 4 yr. Very competent in their findings. I recently had surgery on my eye for an inverted eyelid and immediately became allergic to meds before I even left to go home. The swelling continued to increase for several days until I went in for a checkup. I was immediately diagnosed with an allergic reaction and improved once meds were changed. Had to go in after two weeks to remove the dissolving stitches because they were not dissolving which is common for me from previous surgeries. There was a 100% improvement once stitches were removed. read more

This place is nice, the rooms are clean, and all the staff was very nice. The wait time was about 30 minutes to be called back to an examination room then another hour going from room to room for different tests and more waiting in each area. Now, the biggest problem with this place is the patients talking on their phone or playing music/video games loudly and the staff not saying anything. This became a very annoying experience for the 2 hours that we were there. Yes, this is mostly a customer problem but the staff needs to be proactive and say something to make this a better environment for everyone. read more
