One person there is keen on adding some crazy build up on an item to justify the over pricing or will claim how they easily sell others like it for even more outside the store at swap meets, online or whatever. I feel the place can have a great potential to be more successful if they stop trying to get rich off of single sales, price products at least within reasonable industry standards for a given item and also realize that Ventura is too small a town to get away with cheap fast talk to get people to over pay before people catch on and a business' reputation is tarnished.

Both women's customer service is deplorable to say the least. I was about let them know how hurtful their comments were and reply accordingly in their face, but I have more composure than to do that. Ladies, a customer could really go without the comments. You did not have to direct me to the local thrift shop for a fair price, which this shirt was NOT. Do not attempt to go into the store after 4 PM, they cannot keep the lights on.

They have such interesting merchandise including an assortment of unique gift cards, maps, pictures, stylish hats, scarves, and rare books to name just a percentage of what they have to offer. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. He even tried on a hat I wanted to buy my husband and was concerned about the size. He let me know they take returns within 30 days with the receipt and original tagging. Fortunately it fit! This amazing shop is on Main Street which is closed to through traffic. There is free publick parking just down the street at the Museam of Ventura County. It is also in a great location for other speacialty stores and eateries.
