We hired this company to clean a residential investment property. We explained to them that we needed a general cleaning and also emailed photos of what we expected to be deep cleaned. This included standard appliances, such as the refrigerator, the oven +stove top, hood, washer and dryer, and microwave. We also asked for the mildew on the upper walls and ceiling above the master shower stall to be removed. Rebecca, the business owner's wife, asked to visit the property before giving us a quote. We agreed to her home inspection request and gave her access to the home. We allowed her to be at the home as long as she needed. Based on Rebecca's request to inspect the home prior to issuing a quote, one would expect that the quote ultimately furnished would be based on that inspection. This was NOT the case as explained down below. After Rebecca's home inspection, we were given one price and told that there was a possibility that they would go over 3 hrs. We were also told that if more time was needed, they would call at the 2 to 2 1/2 hour mark. So here's what actually happened: Rebecca calls us at the 3 hour mark and said they were going to need another 3 hours to complete the cleaning. That amounted to 6 hours - DOUBLE the amount of their quote. When we questioned Dwayne, the husband, about this overage, he indicated that the quote that they gave was strictly based on a 3 hour time-frame. He also indicated at that time that they would normally charge more for the size of house that we had. So in my simple mind, why wouldn't they price that into the quote from the get go? They ended billing us for almost 4 hours of work and didn't finish cleaning the master bathroom (left substantial mildew under the shower stall door). They also didn't deep clean (let alone even clean) any of the kitchen appliances, the washer, and the dryer as specified. They also didn't touch the 4th bedroom. Rebecca pointed out that in order to finish all of this, they would need another 3 hours. Also, for this cleaning job, they employed a relative, their son, and their daughter. Dwayne called it a "family" business. That said, both of the kids did not appear to be of legal age to work. Bottom line. If you are expecting a professional staff to clean your property and a somewhat accurate quote, I would go elsewhere. read more

After texting photos and describing the situation, we set up an appointment and a price. Dwayne was prompt and got the job done. I was getting my house ready to rent and needed a deep clean. Sherman Services exceeded my expectations. They worked long and hard and cleaned from top to bottom; from the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling to the tracks for the windows and closets, they cleaned it all. I could not be more satisfied. Sherman Services has helped us several times covering a wide range of problems: plumbing, electrical, lighting, to name a few. He has put together two floor lamps and today put together my new electrical scooter to help me get around. We had tried to hire the cleaning service to clean our home after Rebecca went to the home to give an estimate. We agreed on a price.
