The poké bowls are always delicious but the real star of this place is the traditional ramen with kale noodles (I like it with the hot oil). While I lived in the area I just thought it was really good ramen but then when I moved out I found out that this is superb ramen actually the best I've ever had. Great new addition to Long Beach! So nice to have a healthy alternative for lunch and dinner. Portion was very big and their lunch bowls come with a bottle of water. Ingredients were fresh and plentiful. My husband got the volcano bowl (spicy salmon) and I made my own bowl with half and half(greens and black rice) two types of fish, unlimited toppings and then I got a mix of ponzu sauce and miso. SO GOOD! Marinated is the way to go in my opinion. Its not pre marinated. They make it in a bowl in front of you. Same with the spicy salmon (mixes it with spicy mayo and other things to order). The owner and staff were friendly and let us try the different rices and sauces before selecting our items. We had a sushi burrito with salmon, tuna, black rice, the mango chili sauce, and several toppings. It was a delicious and healthy meal. We also tried the spicy volcano bowl and thought it was excellent. At $11.95/person including water, the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Came here for one reason and one reason only. I was told that the ramen here was on par with the popular ramen places in the city. I wasn't disappointed. The pork and miso broth is very rich and flavorful. The chasu pork belly melts in your mouth. The noodles are a perfect texture and the chef puts in different fresh vegetables every week.
