First let me say the staff there is nice and polite. The first clue was when we pulled up and saw bars on the windows! That's not comforting. Then I'm in a wheelchair and this place is not handicap compliant. After we manage to get in building we were immediately beamed back to the 1970's. It even smelled like 1970. Then they made us fill out this old school paperwork. That I had called months earlier to give them so we wouldn't have the inconvenience of filling out out first time. When we got to our room they were the smallest rooms I've ever seen. Again not handicap compliant. We had to fight to get wheelchair squeezed in. Then we found out they don't even have a hygienist that works there. They have a floating hygienist that travels from office to office for small time dental offices. We always book our appointments at the same time for maximum efficiency but that only works if you have a full staff with more than one hygienist. Do we can both be worked on at the same time. Then we here the dentist in with another patient and his voice was so loud. Hearing him say, "well we gotta get that tooth out. It's gotta go. But I wanted to make sure your insurance will cover it". Oh boy, a dentist should never speak to a patient about money! That's no cool. Then they had me go to this old school X-ray machine that I had to stand up in. I a amputee. No left leg. I've never seen a machine like this but it looked 100 years old. No computers in each room. All old school everywhere. No glasses to keep bright lights and spray out of your eyes. Oh then two of the staff had a disagreement right behind me. I heard one make a comment on a diagnosis of my X-ray and the other said, "that's not true". Great now we have differing opinions of what the heck is going on.... When the dentist came in his voice was so loud I was very close to asking him to lower his voice. He is very obnoxious. He needs to sell his business and obviously retire! Lastly my wife saw him at his desk, get up and not putting gloves on when seeing another patient. Luckily he never went to see my wife. Hmm. I felt so bad I texted my wife apologizing to here in the middle of our appointment. I knew then we would never go here again. We did find an amazing place similar to Bling Dental in Portland called Atlanta Dental Spa ahh yes a luxurious dental office. Can't wait to go.

I have never received any correspondence from the Dentist that there was a balance due. Date of service 11/7/22. This is a year and a half later! I received this from the debt collector after I asked to see a bill which had never been sent to me. Charges $440 Insurance pmt $180 Credit card pmt $39 Balance due $298.35 which includes a $77.35 late fee. I told the office when I first arrived I only wanted services covered under my insurance plan. They never informed me there was anything extra due at the end of the service, other than $39 which I paid at that time. The debt collector advised me to pay the balance or it would affect my credit! I asked if I had any recourse and they said they don't give advice. They only collect the debt. I told them I didn't think I should be responsible for any of the additional cost since I told the dentist I didn't want to be charged for anything over what insurance covers. Again, they cannot give advice, "only collecting a debt". I said I would agree to pay for services so that it wouldn't affect my credit, but I would not pay for fees for a bill I never received. I grudgingly paid $221. Not only is this dentist using a "bait and switch" on her patients but she never sends a bill and then a year and a half later bills you for erroneous and outrageous additional costs and fees! This should be illegal. And First Federal Credit Control, Inc., Julie, is just as bad to perform this type of service! After reading the Yelp reviews, apparently I'm not the only one that has had this happen at this dentist's office!

The office contacted her repeatedly during the weekend, including in the evening hours, and asked her to set up online banking access so they could see what she could put down. Once I became involved, the finance person and dentist stopped answering calls and did not respond to voicemails. She chose not to proceed and attempted to confirm she would not be charged; after that, communication stopped. She then received a $12,000 CareCredit charge, and the doctor was paid despite no surgery being performed by Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Atlanta. We are in an ongoing dispute with CareCredit/Synchrony, which has treated the charge as valid based on signed intake/treatment plan/financing documents, without confirming that the procedure actually took place through clinical documentation (for example: procedure notes, anesthesia record, extraction/implant charting, implant serial/lot numbers, radiographs taken day-of, dated post-op instructions, or other records tied to an actual date of service). I originally applied for a loan through their office for a procedure I specifically requested. After the loan was approved, I was later informed by Dr. Motoban that the procedure would no longer be possible. In spite of that, the finance company had already paid the office, and I was now obligated to repay the loan for a procedure I was no longer getting. When I requested that the loan be canceled in August, the office stopped responding. For nearly three months, they gave me the runaround and avoided assisting me in any way to rectify the situation. During this period, I was forced to pay on a loan I could not use, while the office refused to cooperate with the finance company to cancel it. My calls were screened, and messages were ignored by the office. I live an hour away, so the only way to get any type of response was to show up in person unannounced. I went into this process very insecure about my smile. They took advantage of that and knew it would fuel me to follow whatever they suggested in order to get approved for a higher loan limit. Once that higher loan was denied, they ceased all communication with me entirely. It wasn't until I began pursuing professional outside options that the office suddenly claimed everything had been an "oversight." What they refused to resolve for nearly four months, they completed in ten minutes once outside pressure was applied. When I finally went to the office in tears, the office manager's "NEW‼ assistant (Mrs. Morah) who had just started and was not involved in the earlier communication--showed genuine kindness and empathy toward me. I shared with her how this experience had terribly affected my credit. Sadly, Dr. Motoban refused to honor my cancellation request and even instructed her not to give me a receipt after I mentioned the possibility of legal action. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage potential clients to read reviews carefully, ask questions, and be cautious--especially if you are working with limited finances or relying on payment plans. Patients deserve transparency, honesty, and respectful treatment from start to finish.
