Our "designer," Marty, ordered the wrong parts in the wrong colors, repeatedly. The cabinetry itself, from Showplace, arrived with drawers and doors that were off by 1/4" in width and height from their neighbors, and we had to fight tooth and nail just to get matching sizes installed correctly. But the worst part by far: the delivery truck that dropped off our kitchen was backed onto our brand-new, one-month-old driveway and leaked oil all over it. Chelsea Lumber's own management admitted in writing that they knew the truck leaked. They agreed in writing to cover the damage, then reversed course, sending a letter from their lawyers refusing to take any responsibility. Wrong products, shoddy craftsmanship, damaged property, and a company that goes back on its written word. Do not do business with Chelsea Lumber. We never will again.

This morning I got up and when I turned on the shower I noticed the handle was a little harder to…read moreturn. I tried turning it off and it was stuck. The water was running and I had no way to turn it off. A little cursing happened and I went to the basement to turn off the water to the house. After a little bit of a search on 'ye ol' internet I found that our cartridge in our faucet handle went bad. It looked easy enough to do myself so I looked up some videos and found the instructions and got to work. The only hiccup? I needed a new cartridge to replace the broken one. I called Stadium Hardware and spoke to the very friendly Allison who patched me over to plumbing to make sure they had what I needed in stock. Paul helped me out and made sure he had the right item set aside for me. Back to Allison who ran my payment over the phone and I was in my car to pick up the item in minutes. I pulled up to the back and they loaded it in my trunk. Bing bang boom! I was off. And after a bit more cursing, a bit of sweating, and a few false starts our water was back on AND off. FYI -- The store is open to in store shoppers and masks are required. I'm very hardcore about my social distancing due to some vulnerable people in my family so I was really happy to have the curbside pick up option available. Thanks for your help, Stadium!

Our first purchase with them went well and they were helpful with material estimates and planning. As for our second experience with them, it appears they were in a hurry to get the job done and the quality of their work fell short of our expectations. After calling them several times and explaining the issues with their work, we could never get them to come back out to address the problems. We were disappointed in the lack of customer service and the results of the work they did. It has taken an additional six hours of work to correct their mistakes. (Wrong color pavers used, failure to complete the job, use of substandard material, failure to follow up, etc.) I would not recommend them for paver work.
