The displays with the different paint offerings are well set up for finding and comparing colors. I especially like that the name of the paint colors are on the back of the paper paint color samples. When I got home, though, it didn't match the wall that I wanted to repaint the same shade. I finally realized that in my carelessness I'd taken the wrong sample for matching! I phoned and was told that if I needed a darker shade, they could probably remix the same gallon of paint. Indeed, that was so. They were kind and accommodating, even though this was entirely my fault. I was doubly appreciative since this was an expensive gallon of paint.

Some of the sections, such as a key making area, caught my attention as things to remember. Aisles were clearly labeled and the offerings matched their category. Some of the items were more seasonal specific, such as items to help with cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving, while others were more routine items. The bakery section included Pacific Northwest-based brands and freshly baked items. While tantalizing, the item(s) catching my eye for purchase today were the bumper stickers. I went with four in animal theme with fun sayings. The total with tax came to $14.00. My cash payment method was accepted and I opted to round up the change to go to an area Senior Thrift Store. Their indoor gardening area is a huge greenhouse and there are different plants being offered for sale every time I've visited. They do restock, but this nursery is popular so if you're undecided just buy the plant :) They have a small cafe area which I haven't tried yet, but looks fairly popular with people bringing their dogs to hang out too. There are quite a lot of events and classes related to gardening on their website. We were hoping the scratch was an adhesive of sorts. It won't come off with cleaning solution. Be careful with your orders. Now we have to deal with not only explaining this to Lowe's but also switching out the door. Why would they send us a defective product and also the WRONG sized glass door? This puts such a kink in our time and life, These mistakes are costing ME extra money too since the builder had to make framing adjustments and now I will have to pay HIM to switch out the door to a scratch free door.

I ended up going to Home Depot for prompt service bc I didn't have another 15 mins to wait but huge shout out to Tommy for trying! Anyways will never go here again. It is my go to for gifts, I usually have no idea what I want to get until I walk through the store a bit and will end up with a haul that is always a splash with whoever I give it to. I will warn you that the store is awfully dangerous if you are only shopping for someone else, I have a hard time not buying stuff for myself when I visit. The staff and owner are also very helpful with sharing what other shops may have an item that you can't find in House Wares and I really appreciate the customer focus they have in each interaction.
