I bought the Speed Queen TR5 which comes with a five year warranty. It is built with steel gears and transmission. It has a ceramic coating of the drum instead of plastic like everyone else does these days. It has no lid lock except during the spin cycle. My old Maytag which wore out after 7 years took five minutes to unlock after canceling the cycle. The Speed Queens do not connect to the internet. To me it's just more things that need maintenance. The TR5 is just a simple, strong, sturdy, commercial grade, laundromat quality washer. That's all I want. Wash my clothes for 20 years like they used to make them. This washer is just that. I walked in at 10 am, confirmed they had the machine in stock (23 were just shipped in which kind of proves it's the correct unit to buy), and made the purchase. The primary reason I chose Grand is because they use their own delivery people, not third parties like the big box stores do. Delivery was inexpensive considering they hauled off the old worn out machine. 100% satisfied.

The 12 bags I had poured had hardened enough to stand on by the time I got back, about 1 hour. Several hours after I poured 3 bags they were still soft as soup. The next morning I noticed they were still soft. I spoke to the manager "Ger-ette" he asked me sarcastically, "what do you want me to do?" I said I want a return or exchange. He said to bring the bags in. I said ok. Then he added narrative, unopened in the bag. I said how else can I realize that the concrete was bogus unless it was poured, do you want me to dig it out and bring the mess in? Then he denied me any type of refund or exchange. He mention every type of wise guy excuse to justify his denial. Reminded me of a classmate in business college that I outscored. I guess Ill let him punk me out of 3 bags of concrete. The moral of the story here summed up in two words for ya, Bad Business.

This was our second trip to the Tile Shop on the southside. Our first was to select tile for a…read morebacksplash in our kitchen. Nearly ten years later, we were able to find the same tile and the complementary smaller trim tiles to replace the damaged ones we had when we changed counter tops through a different company. I won't guarantee that if you make a purchase, and need more at a later time they will have it, but it definitely influenced my rating. Like the other reviewers, the customer service could be more welcoming. We wandered the spacious store looking for something to go with our tile and when the small staff did not greet us, my wife simply took matters into her own hands and asked one of the staff (when she finished on the phone) if she could help us. They just don't have many folks on the floor to assist. Maybe if they shifted priority to helping in house customers instead of dealing with other tasks, they would have a better overall rating. The most frustrating thing my wife encountered was that they didn't have the boxes for the items you wanted stacked nearby. So, we couldn't tell if the items were available in the quantities we wanted without asking. Again, not having many people working means there may be delays in getting answers. Fortunately, they weren't that busy during our visit and my wife was able to get the small quantity of items packaged and ready to go in just a short visit. Overall, they have a lot of beautiful displays to inspire customers for future projects. I thought the prices reflected the different quality of materials, so you have a lot of control over how much your renovation can run based upon the materials you choose. This store is located in Shelbyville Indiana; just off of 74, when you walk into the store there's lots of plants and outdoor activities equipment outside, walk in and you can get some popcorn to enjoy as you walk through. Seems to me that there is just a bit of everything you might need located Inside. A large selection of causal and work clothes, several different types of shoes. The rest of the store has guns, pool, hunting, fishing, and farming equipment. I think if you have a dog up to a horse you might find something you need in the pet section and rural king. The next day while going through the contents of the bag I was given at the time of purchase I found the title. It shows the unit as a 2021, being three years old. I'm guessing this is why the cashier said "Hey some one finally bought it!" I thought this was due to the 8,999.99 price tag not including tax. I called the store and asked for the manager. She was nice but said she could not do anything but would have some one contact me. A couple of days later a guy called me already apprised of the situation. I explained to him my issue of paying for a new unit, not one three years old. I suggested a refund based on depreciation. These units depreciate 15 to 20% the first few years according to the market. Since I was the first purchaser I suggested one years depreciation which would be 1,400.00. He said "absolutely not". He told me I could clean it up to look new and return it for a refund. One, this doesnt address the issue I bought what I felt was a new unit, not three years old! And two, there was not another unit available. Since this unit replaced my 87 year old Dad's broken down unit, this wasn't much of a option. This would also explain why the engine isnt running smoothly. I was told "the units were very well maintained and that didnt make since". I feel like this has been very poorly handled by Rural King, and I am surprised they would handle it this way. I will never return to Rural King, not even for their free pop corn. Lee Pope

Just saw a newer harbor freight in speedway and checked it out as it must be pretty new as I don't…read morerecall seeing it the last time I was in the area. Store was pretty well stocked with many early Black Friday tool promos. Generally the tools on sale are a great deal the non sale items will be a good deal unless that item is on sale at a different hardware store. I have had good luck with my Bauer electrical tools so I added a new remote radio that can use my existing battery to my collection. They do have a very in depth supply of most electrical tools and an in depth area for car repair tools. Tons of wrenches and sockets as well. Definitely worth checking out if you need a tool or home repair item. Also much smaller so you don't have to navigate a giant big box hardware store. The staff though may not have a ton of knowledge so do you research on what you need before you go. The one item to be aware of is that all the power tools only have a short 90 day warranty and if you want you can pay more for a longer warranty at checkout.
