Outstanding service is standard operating procedure at this particular Sherwin-Williams paint store. My original visit brought me in to hunt down some paint for my new home which the builder was vague about color and finish. Enter Gladis - paint detective and customer service all-star! Gladis spent quite a bit of time figuring out what I needed and made notes for my future visit (which came in handy on my next visit!) The team was so good, I actually got to know their names - Jose, assistant manager and Michelle, manager. If you need paint, go to this Sherwin-Williams store - it's clean, organized, the staff knows their stuff and they go above and beyond to take care of their customers. An easy 5 star review for me. I came in to get samples for a bedroom accent wall. I was immediately greeted by Juan, who was extremely nice. He was able to assist with getting the items that I needed, along with a few tips. This store was close to the house, but they are closing and the staff is moving to the new Inglewood store, however we made several visits to this location before they closed and each time we talked to Jose, if you are expecting the same type of experience as you would get at a large Orange big box home improvement store you are in for a surprise, Jose and all the staff we dealt with at this store were super friendly and helpful, on our first visit we talked to Jose and gave him an idea of what we wanted to do (paint the entire interior of a 3000 sq foot house), we were there to look at color chips and get an idea what we wanted to do, he asked if we had heard of their color consultant program and explained it to us, we ended up signing up and Christina came out a few days later and spent an hour with us going over colors that would look good in our house, the whole process was very easy, affordable and most of all helpful. We are still in the process of hiring a painter to do the work but the recommendations for the type of paint that we should use and the color consultant have made this a much less stressful process and I highly recommend taking a visit to the Inglewood (or other local) Sherwin Williams store to help you navigate the maze of painting and supplies. read more

Last month I stopped in on a Monday morning for color samples since I was painting my parents house as a surprise. The manager was very helpful and guided me through the color selection process. Since I was overwhelmed with the amount of colors they had, the manager extended 3 free samples. Most places aren't very attentive to your needs. This is true customer service! I was able to pick a color that goes with our color scheme and sent my painter in to buy the paint. I definitely recommend this place for any painting projects! read more

Okay, seriously! I'm just so happy I have a store so close to my new home. I came in without knowing nothing about paint, just "checking to see" what colors I might like for when I decide to remodel my house. I believe it was the store manager that approached me and asked if I needed something. Told her I was just looking for colors I might want for the interior of my house. She was so willing to show me and teach me about different paints, she was busy but was so willing to take her time. Mind you I had no idea. I came out with purchasing paint for my interior and exterior of paint. It wasn't in my plans to remodel my house so soon. But I'm happy with the service I was given by each employee, store manage who helped me pick and the sales person who finish my transaction. I will be coming back for a future project I have in mind, apartment complex that I have in Downey. :) read more

Amazing service! I recently bought a house and needed samples. Michelle worked with me to figure out what type of gloss and shades so I could get the right samples! My husband and I have been to this store numerous times and each time the service has been horrible. We originally bought a gallon of paint there for our spare bedroom. Months later we had to fix a few spots and the extra gallon we had did not match correctly. My husband brought the gallon in to have it corrected and not only would they NOT help us, they tried selling my husband extra accessories and brushes they said would make the paint match. Bottom line is the staff is lazy, unhelpful, and the entire store is just a scam to get you to buy more of their horrible products. The fact that I even have to give 1 star for this place is just wrong. I'd give 0 if it was an option. I will never go back and I have already brought my business elsewhere. read more
