The store in La Grange could use a few more hands on deck as the line was long with only one (super nice and helpful) guy handling everything on his own. Professional painters were ordering supplies while amateurs like myself were asking for color-matching and new colors. Sherwin Williams paint is a good paint. It's a bit pricey for everyday painting but, I'm repainting the entire interior of my home, so I'm willing to pay more for the paint and the advice.

I used to drive to St. Matthews to get my PP, so I'm super happy to know about this location. But I went there anyway for a gallon of paint and the experience couldn't have gone better. The guy at the counter was helpful and patient. The prices seem in line with the big box stores. I'll gladly get my paint and supplies from Dages moving forward.

The folks greeted me when I entered and thanked me for the copious amount of love and attention that I showed the store cat. No pressure to buy, no shakedown about my intentions. They then gave me space to get down to the business of examining paint swatches. Based on the discussions I heard while in the store, I think that a lot of professional painters and designers use Dages. The people working there are helpful and very knowledgable, but not at all pushy. They spoke to their regulars like friends, which I loved. Dages has a full range of equipment, paint types, and colors to fit any DIY or commercial endeavor. The staff are cool and I wouldn't hesitate asking them any question I had about a project. When I left with a handful of ideas but no actual paint, they thanked me and said come back anytime. That's my kind of customer service. I'll be back, no doubt.

The lady said that every box in the store is full of clips..but she had to send me to the auto parts store to figure out what I needed. So I went to uhls downtown and he was very friendly and it's amazing..I now have a clip that wasn't purchased at John Deere. Please don't go to John Deer because they won't help you anyways.

As a fan of Sherwin-Williams paint, I stopped by PPG to select paint for my son's room. Their…read moreselection of paint swatches is always arranged nicely and fully stocked. I was immediately drawn to a blue gray color named "Peace". It was shown within a grouping and their associate (Anthony) helped me find a larger swatch. Anthony was very attentive and helpful, letting us know AAA members got a 25% discount. With the discount, our gallon of Hi-Hide was under $35 with tax. He quickly mixed our color and made sure we left with an opener and paint stick. We've used Sherwin-Williams paint for most of our house and we highly recommend the paint. As a home with 2 young boys, dog and cats it's important we have durable paint that can be wiped clean.

PC is an authorized Stihl dealer. They also repair Stihl products…read more I have a 16 year old Stihl chainsaw I bought new. It has performed flawlessly over the years. I haven't used the saw in a couple years. Recently I took the saw off the shelf just to see if it would start after sitting for an extended time. Unfortunately, the saw was sitting in a puddle of bar oil. I checked You Tube for the possible problem. Turns out that over time (16 years) the rubber oil line from the oil tank to the bar/chain can deteriorate and start leaking. I also watched a video on how to change the oil line. Of course the repair guy on the video made it look fairly easy. So, I decide to make the repair myself. I got the part from PC and proceeded to tear down my saw to make the repair. Well it turns out the repair wasn't quite as easy as the video made it out to be. I got to a point I realized I wasn't going to get this done. I took my saw (in pieces) to PC to have their repair man look at it and give me a price to finish the repair. Keep in mind the saw is 16 yrs old and not worth putting a lot of money into it. The repair man, Ed, got the new line on and reassembled the saw with the parts I had taken to him. Not only did Ed fix the saw, he did it for a very reasonable price. Top notch service provided by Ed and PC. I have several Stihl products and would not hesitate to take any of them to Ed/PC for service or repairs.

Really frustrated with this company and the whole process of purchasing a new mower. The purchase…read morepart was easy, they took my money quickly, then had to wait for a grass catcher to be ordered, so got delivery about a little over a week later. We parked it in the garage, and three days later I went to do my first mow, and it wouldn't start, after several attempts, we had to jump it off, and as long as I didn't let it stop, I was able to mow. Also, the bag catcher didn't fit properly, but now I find out its because I didn't have it installed properly, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to show me how to put it on properly, but that would take customer service skills. After my first mow, I called them, they came out and put a new battery on, and supposedly it was fixed, again, about 3 days after that, I got on it to do my 2nd mow, and guess what, it wouldn't start. I made sure my arms were in the right position, and everything was correct, but just clicking. I had to jump it and again, it jump started immediately, and I was able to mow again, but by this time, I'm just angry, i've paid a lot of $$ for a new mower, I shouldn't have to jump start it each time. So I called them again, and they said well, sometimes we get some machines that just aren't right, and they have to work with them, so they came out again to pick up, this time, they kept it for over a week, they claim that it has started everytime they've attempted, so they can't find anything wrong with it. I asked them, if I get this back, and it doesn't start, and we can prove its not user error, what is the process of giving this back, because I'm not going to be out the money, and I was told that they can't take it back, I would be stuck with it, but I could trade it in on something else, but not for the total sell price. I think if we reach that point, I will have my attorney contact them instead of me. So today, they delivered it back to my house, I told the manager Shane, to have them call me and I would open the garage so they could park it inside, if my wife didn't answer the door, and guess what, they just left it sitting in the middle of my driveway, never tried to get my wife to the door, and didn't call me for assistance. Moral of this story, you can purchase from them, they are happy to take your money, but after the transaction, don't expect any type of customer service...
