The finish on the door was 3/4 good, but 1/4 like it was sanded with a brick. I reported it Immediately to the contractor, who sent photos and reported to Wilburn. A month passed with no response. Finally, I contacted the sale person myself. I was told that I should contact the distributor. The distributor said " they can't lose money on the sale" and offered no assistance. I was then referred to the manufacturer (Hoelscher Weatherstrip), who said it is the distributor's problem. I called the distriburor, Central Woodwork, who said, you have to contact Wilburn Hardware, and offered no help. I contacted the owner of Wilburn, who said, I should not have stained it myself (after their salesman said I should) and sometimes these irregularities happen. Of course they do when you substitute a brick for sand paper or drag it through a parking lot. They did not offer to inspect it in person or offer any remedy to fix it. The owner's only rebuttal was that I still owed for the door I had paid for on delivery. Essentially Wilburn Hardware has NO service after they take your money. I will not do business there again. Next stop, BBB.

I essentially built my house with materials from this Home Depot - Doors, windows, flooring, roofing, plumbing, electrical, trim, paint, etc. Probably spent over $400,000 at this location over the past few years. However, they keep coming up short. I bought an 80 gallon hot water heater that was dead on arrival. Did an exchange but all they had were 50 gallon heaters. That's all they gave me. No money back for the difference. Also had them install my 2 garage doors. But their installer went out of business. I then noticed on one of the garage doors where the opener bracket attaches to the top of the door, the installer did not pit on the top rail reinforcing rail where the opener should attach. Instead they installed it directly to the door sheet metal. I didn't notice this until it tore the sheet metal. I went to Home Depot to have them address it. They refused. - Also the doors we ordered for the entire house came in as a lower quality, thinner door than what we were shown at the store. - Last straw occurred tonight. I went in on Saturday to buy a new zero turn mower. I found the one I wanted for $3,199. They had 3 left, and all had the same tag. But I forgot to bring in my HD 24 month incentive tag. I told them I'd come back during the week with the tag. Went in tonight with the incentive tag, but they had new tags in these mowers for $3,799. I went to customer service. They looked into but did not do anything. I'm done with this place.

I would have thought it would have been the same price, but it was not; it was more! But I needed the stain. I returned less than weeks later and asked for the stain again, giving them the can with the formula. I was then told it was even more than what I had paid. After telling them that, they did give me a discount but it was still more. Both times I was not greeted. There is a lot of chit chat going on between the workers.

They had a note on the door to call and after I did, they brought the can of paint out for me. Three weeks later, I needed some more. I called ahead and they said they were now allowing walk in customers, so I drove there to pick up some more paint. When I entered the store, I was greeted by a young man wielding a disinfectant spray bottle and disinfectant wipes. His job was to clean the door handle every time some one entered the store. I thought that was pretty amazing. All employees in the store were wearing masks and gloves as well. I felt as comfortable as I possibly could, given the current safety restrictions. Anyway, it took them a little time to find my order, but once they did, it was done in a matter of minutes. So if you need some paint, don't get shook up, get to this store and let them do the shaking. You'll be glad you did.

When they finished, noticed that bedroom was painted the same color as the living room. They came out to correct and painted the bedroom the right color ... except for the closets. When asked why the closets weren't updated with the rest of the room, I was told they weren't included in the bid. To be clear - the closets were painted - the wrong color. As I went to pick up paint supplies to paint the closets the same color as the walls, I was inspired to write my first yelp review. Hope you found it useful.

So, I gave them a try for some interior painting in my house. The paint looks good and seems to be high quality. My understanding is Farrell Calhoun is a Tennessee-based brand that's only in the East/Southeast and they don't spend much on marketing. Overall: This is a good choice for quality paint at an economical cost.
