Simon Vintage is a Dixie Belle Paint stockist who carries the whole Dixie Belle product line. Since I only use Dixie Belle Paint, it's nice to have a stockist so close to me. Taking a 30 minute ride a couple times a month to get my Dixie Belle paint from Simon Vintage is a better than paying high shipping charges and waiting a week for my products to arrive. And Simon's prices are spot on, not only for paint, but furniture as well. I brought my badly damaged beach umbrella pole in to size up the necessary screws I would need to reconstruct the piece of **### and fortunately for me Mark did NOT leave me to my own devices. He took matters into his own hands and I left the store a very happy camper probably until the next time the piece of (you know what) folds up when it isn't suppose to. I ended up getting six placemats, some cat toys and some stickers. However, I was charged for nine placemats and didn't notice until I was already on my way back home to Brooklyn, NY. I usually check my receipts, but that time I didn't and got overcharged by about ten bucks. It's not worth driving almost two hours to get a refund though. Live and learn.

If a design person cannot answer customer questions and gets overwhelmed then there's a real problem. After 4 weeks of working on a design that was for a pretty simple revamp, Valerie could still not get our floor plans right. The builder wrote to me to say that the measurements were still not correct. Save yourself time and energy and don't go here for your kitchen design. Seems all this person has time to do is go for "trainings" that don't appear to translate into work output. Poor communication about timelines and every inquiry was met with a defensive list of reasons about why she couldn't get to our project in a timely manner. Undoubtably the worst customer experience I've ever had.

We used to order days in advance and sometimes you'd still wait for it when you thought it was just a pick up. That being said, Brian is like a mad chemist, there is a method to the madness. There is a reason his many customers are loyal to this day. He is undoubtedly the best paint color matcher in the tri-state area. His knowledge of old school methods and doing it the RIGHT way the first time is bar none what the paint industry has forgotten with their chain like mentality. Brian keeps the paint world grounded and his customers happy which IMO, is worth any kind of wait. It took me a long time to realize it but experience like Brian's doesn't grow on trees, it's a dying art. Brian is one of a kind.
