I called back and they told me they didn't have the behr color in their system--so I guess they just chose a different shade of white without asking me if that's what I wanted. Manager agreed to give me a new gallon. Thank you! But the guy who came out to help me snatched the card out of my hand without giving me a chance to make sure he knew what I wanted, then when he brought it out to me, he made snarky comments about how the first time I didn't notice it was the wrong shade. Well, the first time he didn't mix the color I asked for, so... He was also rude to the customer in front of me.

I kind of knew what color I wanted, but she showed me several examples to confirm. She then proceeded to help me pick brushes, paint, and wax. The best part was she gave me a full demonstration of how to actually use the paint and wax. It really helped me understand the process since I have never used this type of paint before. I put on the first coat tonight. I can tell it is probably going to need two coats. Since it is a book case, I don't think I will brush the 'top' of the shelves (or bottom- however you look at it). I might roll those since they are not visible. I love the Chateaux. It is a beautiful khaki green. It is going to be beautiful when I am done. I loved the amazing customer service. It is also a very cute shop. If I had spent more time, I am sure I could have found cute gifts!!
