I stopped in to Small Engine Barn and spoke to the woman there. She advised me to bring it in and they would see what could be done. I know this is a busy time for them. I received a call saying my mower was ready. I was advised they were able to slow it down some and make it easier to start. They were also very reasonable charging for this service. I had purchased many furniture items at the tilton store after buying a new home nearby, several years ago. In tilton they treated me pretty well but the prices were a little high. During my visit to the Plymouth location I happened to find an item that might work as a decoration since we're still in that process with the house. The item luckily was substantially marked down and located in their clearance department so I decided to buy it. However, when I went to pay the salesman wrote the sales ticket for the original price (10 times the sale price), he had torn off the sales tag (which had been large and obvious) and threw it in the trash can right next to him. I guess he hoped I was stupid and not notice. When I called him on it and said I'd never come back he said OK good! I asked for the owners contact info and he refused. I later found the information myself and made a complaint but never heard back from the owner. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN! Apparently this owner condones treating customers like idiots and fortunately my money is portable. They have already had to close one store and they're supposedly moving another one to a new location. My guess is it's probably just closing down also. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
