At first, I was unsure about the direction that we wanted to go for our wedding signs, since we needed both a welcome sign and seating chart for our wedding in early May. With her help, we were able to narrow it down to a combined welcome + seating chart arched sign. She provided us with drafts of our requested signs quickly and incorporated our changes to the designs, I ended up wanting the color of the signs to be a shade of lighter blue and she made it happen while also giving us good advice on what would look best as well. She gave us a reasonable amount of time to provide her with the final list of names/table groupings for our seating chart, approximately 3 weeks before our wedding. Unfortunately for us, my MIL had a few changes to the table groupings after we sent in the final list, but Michelle was SO sweet and understanding and was able to squeeze in our last-minute edits. Our wedding was in SoCal, so we picked up our signs a week prior and wow, did they turn out gorgeous when we saw them on the day-of! It was very easy to set up and it fit so perfectly with our color scheme. Very satisfied with her professionalism and eye for design! We hired GN Rentals for our Anand Karaj at the Fremont Gurdwara. It was really hard to get in…read morecontact with them or even get a timely response but so many people had referred them so we decided to just go with their company. Everything seemed ok once we signed the contract and paid them until the week of the wedding. My parents had separately asked them for a quote for our home events we'd be doing and needed a tent and some rentals. They sent over the quote but it was too high and could not get a response from him so they decided to pass on them and never signed a contract nor paid them a deposit. Two days before our wedding, they showed up at my parents house unannounced claiming we "viewed the quote" so that meant we agreed to do business with them. I will emphasize, nowhere did my parents sign any sort of contract nor pay them any type of deposit. After trying to explain this to Kamal, the head guy, he threatened to cancel our separate contract with them for our Gurdwara wedding, unless my parents paid him $500+ additional dollars for the time it took his people to get to my parents house. While trying to understand his rationale behind this, he hung up on my parents. Our coordinator later called him back saying we found other rental companies who had availability so we would like to cancel with him and he then changed his tune and said "I am a business, I will not require them to pay the additional money and will go ahead and do the Gurdwara wedding." I don't think it's ethical to try to milk extra money out of customers who already signed and paid you in full. I will not be using his services again.

I booked the twins for my proposal and they went above and beyond to make sure they set up the perfect hallmark movie esque backdrop setting for a proposal. They really made it seem like it was out a fairly tale movie. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent. They had so much flexibility with all the location changes due to weather and sent so many recommendations. They made such an overwhelming and stressful planning time feel so easy. They stood out in the rain to play the song we requested and even took some photos for me with our phone. We had a photographer but the fact they offered to take pictures was so nice. They even went above and above and gave my now fiancée a huge bundle of roses that was so nice and sweet of them! It was not just the matter of payment only. First of all I never said I was not going to pay her. She DID get paid when she messaged me for the payment. To your other point of ethics, I totally agree with you that there should be ethics in business which actually she lacks. Just for an example I will give couple of things of her poor business ethics 1. It was part of the contract to provide certain type of bulbs on stage (the picture was provided to her before signing the contract) She messaged my wedding planner that the bulbs got damaged two weeks before the event. She said she ordered them on amazon n it may not come on time. (which is understandable). But a good business ethics is that you keep spares in advance. So apparently she said she will use another product and instead of asking us if we like them, she just told us that this is what she will provide us on the wedding day. 2. She demanded my event planner to use her business name or tag her in stage pictures instead of requesting if she can tag her in the pictures. NOT that we had any issues doing that but its just the ethics of asking that. Btw it was not part of the contract. So my review is based on multiple events that fortunately you did not experienced in your events with her to make the taste of her service sour.

It was without hesitation that I hired Rachael to be my partner in crime to plan my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 guests - which I was hosting. I wanted to be actively involved with the planning and execution - but with work and family, I also didn't want to be too stressed. Working with Rachael, I was able to strike the right balance. I hired Rachael for a set amount of hours for her expertise in creating a cohesive look and feel, as well as design and production of key pieces of collateral. LOCATION & CONTRACT I had already decided on the location and signed a contract with the restaurant for a private dining room before I hired Team Cruz Productions. Because Rachael has such deep experience with events in our area, she was very familiar with other events at the same venue. The truly impressive part is that Rachael successfully renegotiated my contract minimums, thereby saving me $500. The restaurant manager has only had complimentary comments about Rachael and told me that "she is very detailed and REALLY knows what she is doing." COLLABORATION Rachael and I worked together to pull off this event. We started by sharing a Pinterest board. She found themes from everything I pinned and narrowed down a color palette, centerpiece idea and general look & feel for the graphic design pieces. We went to the flower mart together and she showed me exactly what to buy to pull together the centerpieces I had envisioned (or, as Pinterest had envisioned for me!). DELIVERABLES A distinct skill that Rachael brings is graphic design. This really helps streamline the event planning process because it eliminates another vendor - and because she is working directly with you, her client - there is nothing to get lost in translation. Rachael custom designed the invitation, menu cards, name tags, favor bag and greeting poster for us. She handled all professional printing. Because I wanted to be involved in some of the work, I got out my glue gun and assembled the name tags. COMMUNICATION Rachael communicated with me constantly throughout the planning process. She knows that I get busy with work and family, so when we were up against deadlines, she would text me reminders. She also texted me on the day of the event and followed up the day after. She takes great interest in you and your event and her customer service shows that. I am already trying to come up with another reason to throw a party just so I can work with Rachael again!

She made sure to include BOTH kids in the planning and put together a truly spectacular event. The adults couldn't stop talking about what a great time they had, how beautiful it was and how well organized. Rachael made sure that all guests were taken care of at the party, no matter what their individual dietary needs. It was truly flawless and I was able to relax and enjoy myself without a care in the world. Before the party, Rachael put together gorgeous hotel welcome bags and her creativity is endless. She designed an amazing logo for the two kids that we were able to use on everything from the invitations to the centerpieces. She even figured out a way to get it onto the light fixtures in the ballroom, which was a lovely surprise for us when we arrived. She found the perfect centerpiece idea and helped us implement it. All the vendors she suggested were also wonderful to work with. If I was having a second mitzvah in my family, I would definitely hire Rachael again.
