Well Dr. Goitom makes sure her office is the complete opposite of LSOH! I went it with a slight issue and Helen, the hygienist, was great at keeping me calm and explaining everything as went through. Dr. Goitom made sure I felt no pain throughout the process and felt completely comfortable with everything. I am honestly looking forward to going back to them which NEVER happens with me. The office decor is really cute, high tech and they have inspirational quotes in each room which are nice to read while trying to keep yourself busy. You never see anyone in the waiting room because they schedule their appointments appropriately and take their patients as soon as they arrive.

From the appointment making process, to them reaching out on a Saturday to reschedule due to an emergency. I could tell this place was professional from top to bottom. I met Dr. Bonebreak and was blown away by not only his professionalism but how comfortable he made me feel. I am also very observant, this man has manners. I am big on always saying thank you to those around you! I noticed he always thanks his staff and is professional with them but you can tell he is kind. The young lady who assisted me with my Invisalign today was very knowledgeable, I was nervous about getting them. A little more so when I realized I had to wear them on the bottom and the top to fix the lowers. She put all that to rest for me. Walked me through maintaining them, and answered my 56 questions. I also noticed how thorough Dr. Bonebreak was with his notes on my teeth. Dr. Bonebreak wrote so much to ensure he was giving the best possible service. This makes me happy since I am spending a little over 6k to essentially make my teeth perfect. I wish this was place I had taken my daughter to, but shoulda , coulda, woulda :( I can't say enough great things about this place ! Professionalism goes such a long way. One time they rescheduled one minute before my appointment. I understand things happen but the rescheduling was a trend item and common occurrence. My last appointment was for 8:00 am when they first opened. The staff trickled in between 8- 8:20. The xray equipment didn't work and the office was generally dirty. Stained carpet and dusty shelves. The dental staff itself is good. The place really needs to be managed better.

The office was very difficult and unprofessional to deal with and gave me the run around. They just rack up as many things as they can to pad the bill. I still am not sure they even did the costly procedure. My insurer said it is impractical that both billed procedures are done the same day. Which is why they don't cover it if done the same.

This has been my family's regular dental office for quite a few years. Initially I was very…read moreimpressed with the facility and we had no issues. It has only been within this year that we have run into scheduling problems. The office has cancelled appointments twice on me because "the hygienist wasn't going to be available that day" and then the next available appointment isn't for another 4-6 weeks. If we have needed a follow up appointment after a regular scheduled visit it can take that same 4-6 weeks to get another appointment. They do run pretty much on time and are efficient when you do arrive for an appointment. Plus they were able to get my husband in within 24 hours when he urgently needed to see a dentist which I did appreciate and gave them an extra star for that.

Many of them are lacking in any details or descriptions of the procedures done and don't tell you anything much like Amazon reviews. It's almost like they're buying reviews. Jai Shin seems to hope you're naive enough to not question what they're doing in your mouth, especially if you've had bad oral history. I had been going to this place for around 4 years after I moved to Maryland, and at first it seemed fine with the cleanings and being told I had some cavities to fill. But then he mentioned I needed a root canal, which was the beginning of the end. This root canal hell spanned 2-3 years before I found peace and left for a better dentist: 1. The root canal procedure itself was very odd. I'm no stranger to root canals and I know for a fact Jai Shin didn't use a tooth dam to prevent my saliva and other contaminants from entering the exposed tooth or a magnifying glass apparatus to even see what he's doing in the back of my mouth. He was very casual and not completely focused on doing the root canal, and initial x-rays showed the biofilling PIERCED THROUGH MY GUM TISSUES before fixing it. My gut was telling me something was wrong, but I had excellent dentists in my life prior to this so I gave the benefit of the doubt. 2. The installed crown afterwards POPPED OFF during normal eating sessions only a couple of months after installation. My two 8 year old crowns have NEVER had this issue and they're still going strong to this day. It was poor cement adhesion explained away with poor excuses. 3. Almost a year later after the root canal procedure, it failed as I had a reinfection there again. Jai Shin told me it was rare/uncommon for this to happen, and yet there we were not even a year in, with bleeding and throbbing gums. They had then referred me to a periodontist that only had a slot to see me in a month, so I went with someone else that could see my issue sooner and the reports were not good. Then I got it checked by Sterling Endodontics and they confirmed it needed to be retreated, which they did PROPERLY the next day. 4. It was pointed out by the Perio that the prior crown that popped off was not giving full coverage over the tooth, leaving a gap for food to enter. The new crown creation by Jai Shin was a hassle and took a while to get it right, but at least now it seems like he actually put effort since he could probably sense I could see through his facade and was done with him. It doesn't end there though. A cavity that was found in my other molar was never mentioned by Jai Shin and caught by my new dentist who has since properly fixed it. Thankfully one of Jai's dental assistants made me aware of the potential of that cavity back then so I kept note of that. It would have become another root canal, and I suspect Jai was withholding this on purpose to ruin more teeth/get more money out of me. I am also very suspect of whether I really needed a root canal from Jai knowing what I know now. Another review here mentions he was lying to them about her child's teeth having cavities that needed to be done. Unfortunately for him, she worked with dentists and knew what to look for. And so, so, SO much more that can't fit in detail in this review. Billing issues that take months to resolve, rough administration of numbing shots, questionable crown applications, charging for Xrays and not doing enough Xrays at the same time vs endo and new dentist, his wife coming in with incorrect statements/assumption on my mouth instead of himself, etc... Jai Shin also seems to care a lot about his reviews instead of his service since early on he would spam people texts to leave reviews. I also noticed another reviewer mentioning that Jai Shin spoke to them at their next appointment regarding a review they left. In which case, hello. Do better, seriously. Don't be a Jensen Huang. If you've read through all of this, thank you for your time. I'm seriously trying to warn you of this dentist because I don't want people to suffer as much as I did.

I'm going to rate this practice a 1 out of 5 stars based on a recent experience. Six months ago, I…read moreexperienced a small crack on a recently installed crown. I sought Dr. Graybeal's advice on repair versus replacement given that the crown was only installed two years ago. After a quick assessment, he quickly repaired the crown and I happily walked away knowing that I didn't have to pay for a new crown. However, that's when my problem started. Shortly afterwards, I started experiencing extreme sensitivity on the repaired tooth. I went back to Dr. Graybeal three subsequent times for evaluation on the repaired crown. Each time he brushed off my concern as simply inflamed nerves (pulpitis), and that it was temporary and will eventually go away. To ease my concern, he even shaved a little bit off of the crown on each of the visits so that my teeth aren't touching, thus causing further inflammation. After six months of non-stop sensitivity/pain, I finally asked Dr. Graybeal last month to provide me with a definitive solution that will make the pain/sensitivity go away. No more brushing aside my concerns. No more shavings off of the crown. I needed a real solution. He suggested a crown replacement would solve my problem once and for all. Given my frustration from the prolonged sensitivity/pain, I asked him straight up if replacing the crown would absolutely fix the problem. He said yes and I quickly scheduled the crown replacement. The first problem I encountered after the procedure was that my gums near the temporary crown began to swell and became extremely painful while eating. Come to find out, the cement used for the temporary crown seeped into my gums during the procedure which then caused the swelling. Similar to experiences I've had in the past, I believe Dr. Graybeal rushed through the procedure and didn't inspect/clean the gum area properly after installing the temporary crown. To make matters worse, the sensitivity/pain never went away and was still present two weeks after the crown replacement. At my wits' end, I went back to Dr. Graybeal demanding answers. Upon seeing me, he immediately said that the pulpitis is now irreversible, and the only fix is to do a root canal. So two weeks earlier, Dr. Graybeal was 100% sure that a new crown would solve my problem. Two weeks later, and after spending close to $2,000 on a new crown, he is now 100% sure I need a root canal. I felt misled. After six months of agony, Dr. Graybeal knew the pulpitis was irreversible. The proper recommendation was to consult with an endodontist on a root canal procedure rather than charge me for a new crown that ended up doing absolutely nothing. I did end up consulting with an endodontist, and the endodontist basically confirmed my suspicion. The endodontist said that after two months of continuous pulpitis, my dentist should've asked me to look into a root canal procedure because the problem has become irreversible. Giving me false hope for six months is irresponsible. Suggesting that a crown replacement would fix the problem after six months of pulpitis is just straight up deceit. Dr. Graybeal's practice has been around for decades. He should know better than to do something like this to a loyal patient. I would consider carefully before visiting this practice.
