I haven't been THIS excited to RAVE about a business in months and I'd have NEVVVVEEERRR imagined in a million years that one of my top 2021 finds would be a visit to the dentist's office. I had been looking for a new dental practice for what felt like an eternity after our last one went from being amazing... to being amazingly terrible... to being entirely out of business. Yelp Loveys?!?!??! LISTEN UP!!! Dr. Mizrachi and his team are HEAVEN SEEEENNNTT!!!! I'm talking GOLDEN!!! FIVE STARS, 10's across the board, PER...FEC... TION! My ggf referred me to this office and recommended I request a cleaning with Diana, the hygienist. I have the pain tolerance of the average toddler and get anxiety like I'm jumping off a plane about dentist appointments, but Diana's cleaning was thee very best in my lifetime, indisputably. I have no idea how she was able to be so thorough and get these teeth so sparkly clean with a touch that was as light as a feather. I literally ENJOYED my cleaning with her, as she was incredibly personable and kind while also informative with the patience and bedside manner of a saint. I left her chair looking forward to my next cleaning in the Fall. Speaking of next cleaning, this office was a dream to book and engage with for mine and Hub's initial and our follow up appointments, which was largely due to Beth the amazing head of their front office. Beth provided me one of the most professional, warm, welcoming, proactive, and organized experiences I've had from a medical office's front desk team in yeeeeaaaaarrsss. This is not one of those places that makes it cumbersome and frustrating to handle anything administrative, nor did we experience any wait time to see the hygienist or dentist upon arrival to appointments. Once again, this is a testament to Dr. Mizrachi and his team's work ethic, organization & time management, and their valuing patients' time which many medical offices can be inconsiderate about. I have many friends and family members that have expressed a fear for visiting a dentist's office during this pandemic, but I cannot express enough how pristinely clean and sanitary this office appeared with social distancing and mask wearing being enforced for the patients and entire staff. Something I thought was very neat was them messaging me to ask that I call them upon my arrival so they could instruct me when to come in and then when it was time for my appointments, the ONLY people I was anywhere near within 6 feet of were ones that were conducting my dental services. They managed to make me feel very safe and at ease and I appreciated the extensive communication about exactly what was happening during my cleaning and initial examination with Diana & Dr. Mizrachi as well as at my follow-up visit with Dr. Mizrachi & Carrie the hygienist who deserves an award for her bedside manner. The three of them were so gentle with me throughout my visits that I did not have to ask them to stop even once nor did I experience any bleeding or inflammation during or after my services which is contrary to my previous experiences with other dentists' offices. I loved listening to music, looking at the cherry blossom trees outside their floor to ceiling windows, and hearing Dr. Mizrachi's friendly and funny charm while I was in his chair. If you are looking for a new dental home office that operates with integrity, professionalism, friendliness, and are highly skilled and experienced with gentle dentistry, do yourself a favor and reach out to my new dental home and let Beth get you booked to see Diana or Carrie that are both amazing. I don't want to directly name my hygienist, since I don't know if she wants her name on here, but she knows who she is and I really have to give her credit for doing such a great job cleaning my teeth each time-- I certainly haven't changed my habits to make such a big difference! And just think, a good hygienist wouldn't want to work for a bad or unpleasant dentist. My time with Dr. Schwartz is short in comparison to the hygenist, but he's incredibly nice and I've had no complaints over any of the work that he has done. He pulled two teeth out as part of my invisalign treatment plan to make room for straight teeth along with two or maybe three fillings over the years-- all went very well and my smile and bite is better than ever. I've moved 7 times since 2006 and after one of the moves to the Baltimore area I was immediately looking into invisalign and the highly rated orthodontist that I found didn't do general dentistry but he recommended Dr. Schwartz so that is where I went. When I moved from Baltimore to Chicago for 3 years, and then from Chicago to New Orleans for another two years, I still flew back to baltimore for my dental appointments with Dr. Schwartz. I'm back in the area now and still seeing Dr. Schwartz with a mere 30-45 minute drive. If you live in Chicago, I'd still recommend Dr. Schwartz-- the flights between MDW and BWI are really plentiful and you can fly in for the day for an appointment. It's a bit harder from New Orleans, but still doable.

Unless I can't breathe, I would rather suffer alone at home. I've been to Dr's offices where you spend twice as much time waiting than receiving care. I have known Dr Garbis for a very long time since our kids grew up playing football together. But I only started going to him maybe 3 years ago along with my son. Let me tell you, what a world of difference. No longer are there any reluctance. The staff is professional, courteous, friendly and actually pretty fun to be around from start to finish. And they are really efficient. Hardly any waiting at any of the times I've been there. I even had to change schedule but none was available for the time that I needed for months. So I requested they put me on a wait list for that time if it showed up. Sure enough, they contacted me within a month because someone cancelled. Again, in and out like clockwork.
