The technician who did my initial estimate and then came back to steam clean my wall to wall carpets was Nio (sp?). He was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He got some coffee stains out of light carpet I didn't think would go. 2. I had a huge , cream-colored area rug that needed to be taken offsite for cleaning. It came back with weird yellow staining. It was due to the cleaning solution and I had to send it back. I was worried the carpet was going to be ruined. While I do think COIT it should have seen that, to their credit management got it touch directly to communicate the issue and their confidence the carpet would be fine. As promised, they removed the yellow staining and my carpet is back and looks like new. 3. The pick up and delivery crew are great. Tony was my primary contact and he came out my house three times. This last time, Dave Singh was part of the team. I can't say enough about how good Tony was with communication arrival dates and times. And Tony and Dave were courteous, friendly, efficient. They had to move some heavy pieces I could not do on my own and did so cheerfully and carefully. 4. Madelene, in management, worked with me for the return and re-delivery and another matter. Again, communication and customer service has been great. 5. Value. I paid about $1K for the wall-to-wall and the area rug. My area rug is massive. I admit, I did have sticker shock. But when I consider the work that was done and the high cost of EVERYTHING these days and here in the Bay Area, I think it was competitive. They ruined my sofa. Please do not hire this business for upholstery cleaning. They are carpet…read morecleaners. Because I read one review for cleaning fine upholstery in the past, I decided to hire them to clean my large Gold+Williams velvet sofa, two velvet chairs, 1 loveseat, and 1 vanity chair. When I spoke with Carlos, he assured me they had experience with fine upholstery like mine. Reina called me the day before, asking for more money because it was an over an hour trip, which I declined since it was a 30-minute trip and her son knew the address in advance. I should have cancelled the service right then. They ruined my fine sofa; it was left with vertical stripes and fabric scratches, damage from the machine they used. When I called her about it, she said the marks would go away if I passed a damp towel on them, which I did, and nothing happened. Then she said that if we sat on it, the lines would go away. I asked if they had used metal blades on my sofa, and she said yes, that it was a professional machine. Finally, she offered to take care of the problem if I paid her an extra $200, which I declined. She also told me they couldn't remove a "mark" from the loveseat (it was dry food, I removed it after they left). The vanity chair, stained with makeup, was left as dirty as it was found. She said they couldn't clean it. I paid $400 for the service, a waste of money. I give them 2 stars for the carpet cleaning, which they do well. They cleaned the carpet in the stair-hallway, and that job was done very well.
