Like to come to this place because it's close to my gym. They usually have pretty quick service. The guy behind the counter is a smooth talker, LOL. When you leave you be then bought everything! I always like to say OK stop let's start at the beginning what is the first wash package. I usually get the second one which ever one that is. Are used to pay 1999 a month for Mr. car wash, I don't want you to think for a second that I didn't enjoy the place, but with the modifications I've made to my vehicle I am unable to continue to go through a motorized wash detail place. The coffee is always hot, the music is always good, but just remember you are in River Oaks the price will shoot up so quick you won't know what hit you, LOL. I love the place, and although I'm just joking, I would go there in a heartbeat. This car wash has been completely updated. They have added several self-service cleaning "stalls" with two vacuum hoses per stall--and they are powerful! The car wash itself has a new look inside and the brushes do a fantastic job of cleaning. The air blowers are so strong they almost completely dry your car before you exit. They no longer have the guys at the end who wipe off the excess water, but as I said, the blowers are so strong, the guy aren't needed as badly as they were before. I always bring my car here and I always have a pleasant experience. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for the place. I feel like it's just one of those businesses that people won't bother to post a review for unless they're driven to complain. They have free vacuums for customers that will be going through the wash ($3 if you're just using the vacuums). The sign says there's a 3 minute limit but I always take 10-15+ and I've never been told anything. The vacuums are always super strong and I'm never struggling to get the floor debris out of my car. I also always sit for a few minutes to wipe down my car interior. I might as well if I'm already vacuuming and cleaning it and then I can just toss the cleaning wipes etc. into the trash bins which are always nearly empty because they obviously empty them regularly. The drive-thru wash is pretty good. I don't know what other people expect from an automated cleaning system but it's really affordable and my car always sparkles after. When I get the wheel treatment, they don't take a ton of time to get it done but, for $10 total for the whole wash, I'm not expecting perfection. I did hold back one star because, after this visit, the very top center of my roof still had a small but noticeable dirt streak that the machines either missed or couldn't reach, which is semi annoying but I won't lose sleep over it. That doesn't always happen, so I'm not sure what was different this round. All-in-all, this is my favorite place to go for regular car washing. The location is relatively small and very well-kept, the crew is nice enough and my car is clean in the end which is what I came for. read more

During my visit on 07/06 I purchased the Silver wash and let me start off by saying that when u pull up you notice multiple vacuum stations which should be a good sign. When I was done washing my truck I went to vacuum it and as I was doing that I noticed that they're were still a few spots that looked dirty. I thought to myself well when I get done vacuuming my vehicle I should go back and ask the manager if I could run my vehicle one more time to get it cleaned up. When I got to go to fries and I explained to the manager that my vehicle was still not sure what I expected it to be and they are the people next to me were planning their vehicles in their first film on m when I got to go to fries and I explained to the manager that my vehicle was still not sure what I expected it to be and if i could run my vehicle is one again. She responded with no I would not be able to re-wash the vehicle he said it was just a bit of dust and that he could redo my windows but that was it. I explained that while I was vacuuming my truck both the ppl next to me were dusting off their mats in the air and that's how the dust got on my vehicle . He said yeah but that's not the car washes fault I said I know is not mine either I just paid for a service and I'm unsatisfied I'm not asking for a refund I just want to run my vehicle to get it cleaned up he responded with the fact that the car wash was not responsible for this issue. I asked for the district managers and he denied me the information I asked for the owners info and he also denied me with that he only provided me with the car wash numbers which is (8) 200-2585. So after washing my car FIVE TIMES with no air freshener, and me stopping by the store to buy my own (even though I paid for it here and I was told it was included in the service) I said "geeez you guys could at least upgrade me from Silver to gold this one time," ($2) "this is the fifth time Ive been here and I didn't receive the COMPLETE package." Moises actually had the nerve to say "Well it's complementary" I said well I'm looking at your sales board and IT DOES NOT SAY ITS COMPLEMENTARY and why on earth would you use it as a selling point if its not included? He then says "If you go to Jack in the Box they will not give you anything for free if they run out of Ketchup" Ummmm??? WHAT?? If you lack the brain power to know that Yes ketchup is free I can walk into just about any fast food place and get ketchup and if they're out I can go to 100 other places and get it for FREE!!! I just had the worst experience at Shine Express Car Wash N Arlington, TX. I have been going to this car wash for years and never had a problem until the new management showed up. I've noticed a few times the new owner , which is a Caucasian woman, wasn't very friendly and she had a condescending tone that I took notice to, but I didn't say anything to her about it. On 6/14/2020 at around 4:50 pm I went to get my car washed. As I entered the drive through a car wash attendant told me to come up, get on the belt and put my car in neutral. I followed his instructions and maybe a minute later I noticed his facial expression in my review mirror and he seemed a bit confused. We both noticed as I was going through, the machine poured out some soap on my car, but nothing else was happening. A few of the car wash attendants held back the machine and told me to drive through and out so my car didn't get washed. Another car wash attended told me to go back through to see if it would work the second time and it didn't. Afterwards they apologized that it wasn't working and told me to come back around and they will let the owner know what happened and she would be able to help me. I came back around and saw the owner, but I noticed she saw me, but she kept assisting other cars that came after me on the other side before she finally came to me. When she did I let my window down thinking she was going to apologize about the machine not working at that time and just refund my money. Instead she yelled at me and told me I shouldn't have drove through the car wash twice because she didn't give me a number to go through again. Mind you, the soap pretty much washed off the number she put on my windshield the first time and I still had my receipt hanging on my windshield so they knew I paid and knew what kind of wash I needed. She also started yelling and blaming me for her machine not working because I was on my phone. She said when I pulled up to pay her she noticed I was on my speaker phone in my car and that's is why the machine wasn't working. She also said that I shouldn't been able to drive through and come out without a wash because she knows how her machine operates and I should not have been able to so. She basically yelled at me and blamed me for the dysfunction of her machine. She proceeded to yell and said she is giving me my money back and to never come back to her car wash again. Seriously! Do you think after this horrible customer service I received today I wanted to come back and give you my money for your poor service. NO! I think not. She looked at me as she started calling the police on her phone and said "Bye Felicia"! She was very rude and disrespectful. I pulled over to the side because I wanted to talk to the police about about how she treated me as a customer. I had nothing to hide. I spoke to the police and they heard her side and my side of what happened separately. Afterwards the police suggested to not come back to that establishment.They were very helpful and understanding. I felt this was not the first time they have encounter her rudeness and how she deals with people. I heard from someone that there has been many issues regarding how she treated other people of other races in the past and this was not the first time this has happened under her management. Her husband came out yelling at me a few moments later telling me to leave and he was very disrespectful also. I kept my composer as much as I could. This was my favorite car wash to go to, until one day the man drying my car broke off part of my windshield wiper and scratched my hood with it. I called several times that day and left messages, nobody returned my call. The next day I called first thing in the morning and was told that they would not be able to do anything about it because I didn't tell them the day it happened. I told them how many times I tried to call and how many messages I left, the response I received was that they were outside washing cars. Well it is a car wash, I would hope they were outside washing cars!! No excuse for not designating a person to have a phone on them. They should take responsibility for their actions. At the very least they could have apologized to a loyal customer, and have a talk with their employee about being more careful. They did not make me feel valued as a customer at all. You have to come to this place regularly because it takes two times to get the bugs off your windshield. Not worth the money of a membership. Canceling membership.
