I told the woman that was supposed to have checked if it was ready and her reply was "OH WELL" I had written a tip for 20% so walked over to my check and lowered it to 1%. Juicy burgers, perfect size patties for smash burgers, the buns were fresh and held up nicely, and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries had a great crunch and were seasoned really well. Service was great, food was high quality and had great flavor, and the dog friendly patio was perfect for our pup. It's located in a nice little strip of shops and restaurants, and has a common area of cornhole and other games that would be fun for an activity before/after dinner, or if you have kids in tow. We'd definitely make another trip here when in the area.

Lance was our tastemaker/ bartender and our tasting was curated as part of a tour. We tasted about 12 different moonshines including some not on the list: Watermelon, Spicy Pickle and Habenero Bloody Mary... not something I liked. Bloody Mary's are very spicy. Lance was knowledgeable about the moonshines being sampled, offering insights into its flavors and made sure we understood you don't have to drink full pour and he'd provide a new sipping cup. Most lived upto flavor, very potent in alcohol content as Lance explained with each sample. Logan gathered our order together and because of a coupon we got a feee shot glass. When you want to get drunk, but you also need your drink to look electric blue and taste like raspberry, you come here. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks in general, and especially not sweet alcohol. But I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to taste some of Old Forge Distillery's moonshine and gin. They also make vodka, whiskey and rum. The gin was good! It doesn't taste like traditional gin, because they age it in bourbon barrels, so it has a little bit of a caramel taste to it. (In my opinion.) The moonshine and the cream liqueurs are where you will find the crazy flavors. I think my favorite was the coffee moonshine, which tastes like a wonderfully spiked black coffee. Samples are plentiful. The bartender told us which ones were crowd favorites, and also recommended some that I would not have picked myself. They also have a huge gift shop with lots of tchotchkes, plus bottles of their goods to take home with you.
