We tasted about 12 different moonshines including some not on the list: Watermelon, Spicy Pickle and Habenero Bloody Mary... not something I liked. Bloody Mary's are very spicy. Lance was knowledgeable about the moonshines being sampled, offering insights into its flavors and made sure we understood you don't have to drink full pour and he'd provide a new sipping cup. The employee helping us didn't seem very enthusiastic and gave off the impression that she didn't really want to be there that day. On a positive note, the inside of Ole Smoky Moonshine was very clean. They wiped down the counters after every tasting, which I appreciated. One downside for me was that you couldn't choose which flavors you wanted to sample -- they just served whatever was included in that tasting lineup. I felt that was a disadvantage because I don't want to buy something if I'm not sure I'll like it, and there were a few flavors I was hoping to try that either weren't available or just aren't carried at that location. I did enjoy the deals they had going on, which honestly caused us to buy more than we planned -- but the offers were too good to pass up. We ended up getting the cooler that came with two mini six-packs. I do wish we could've chosen the free sixth flavor ourselves, but I wasn't too upset since I did like the butter pecan.
