Sooo head on in for tasting and you will not regret it. You'll find something your tastebuds will flip out for! The moonshine is strong with this one. Lance was our tastemaker/ bartender and our tasting was curated as part of a tour. We tasted about 12 different moonshines including some not on the list: Watermelon, Spicy Pickle and Habenero Bloody Mary... not something I liked. Bloody Mary's are very spicy. Lance was knowledgeable about the moonshines being sampled, offering insights into its flavors and made sure we understood you don't have to drink full pour and he'd provide a new sipping cup. Most lived upto flavor, very potent in alcohol content as Lance explained with each sample. Logan gathered our order together and because of a coupon we got a feee shot glass. Their moonshine flavors and customer service were incredible. Multiple employees greeted us and encouraged us participate in their free tasting of 16 flavors! The tasting was quick and fun. We liked so many flavors and after much deliberation decided to purchase the apple pie, strawberry shortcake, and 2 orange creme. The bottles are $29.99 each and they had a buy 3 get 1 free deal going on. An employee stood ready to package the bottles and carry them to the counter. I greatly appreciated this as then I did not have to hold them when perusing the rest of the shop. In addition to moonshine they sell T-shirts, pour spouts, candles, and more. We visited Tanger on a Saturday morning over a holiday weekend. Parking was rough but understandable. Eventually we found a spot, but it took longer to leave Tanger than it did to park. My husband and I came here to get some moonshine and wanted to sample a few flavors before committing. I presented my digital id and the worker wouldn't accept that. It's issued by our state government. Airports, police, government entities, stores etc accept this but this place doesn't. It clearly shows I'm of age. We're on vacation in a tourist city so trying to carry as little as possible. My husband tried like 3 and said he didn't like the flavor of any of them. So I've never gone to a bar, brewery or any other kind of adult beverage option inside of the MANY Tanger Outlets I've visited in my life! So I found it really interesting to find Smith Creek Moonshine located inside of this Tanger Outlet mall just awaiting to take great care of me while the females were doing their mandatory "shopping" behaviors. Considering this space is in an outlet mall they have done an amazing job on their interior build out and it is a really cool space! Like most of the moonshine joints in Pigeon forge you get FREE tastings here so that is simply AWESOME as otherwise you might get dragged along to "shop" and we all know moonshine is way better than that! They have great staff here and a cool location with some great drink options along with plenty of other non-booze options for the ladies to "shop" when they finally return to force you back into their nefarious plans. We went in for a tasting Friday night. That part was great. Our bar tender was awesome. We noticed they had great shirts. So Monday on our way out we stopped to get a few. That's where it went south. We were in there for about 10 minutes and never once were we even acknowledged. The workers looked right at us and then looked away. So we left. Kinda disappointed. read more

Decent place. Not as large of a moonshine selection as other distilleries in the area that we've visited. Flavors were okay but we've definitely had better. I really like the retail store actually. They offered great sauces, dips, jellies, candles, shirts, etc. Staff was friendly. And the moonshine tasting was free, so that's a bonus. read more

I was trying to burn some time while my daughter checked out the Titanic exhibit in Pigeon Forge. It was tucked away in a corner at a outlet mall. We were created at the door by a singer singing and strumming away at at his guitar. The bartender was really entertaining and had a great memory. My favorite flavor was their peach and their coffee. Their bloody Mary was interesting as well. Their 4 for $80 was an amazing deal compared to other moonshine spots around the area. read more

I will say that they should sell smaller sized jars for the ones we didn't get to taste test. I think this place gets overlooked because it's a bit hidden at Tanger outlets. You should definitely put this place on your list of sampling distilleries to visit while in pigeon forge. Not only is the space decorated so cool, the merchandise is pretty awesome too. Sampling is free and you get to try way more than ole Smokey has been offering lately. Whoever decided to put a moonshine shop in the middle of an outlet mall deserves a handshake and a shot of whiskey. Well played. This was the last of all the Tennessee moonshine places I tried out, but the service was the best. You can sample all of their flavors for free, but of course, tip your bartender. I can't remember the name of the bartender giving the samples, but she, hands down, had the sweetest, funniest, customer service of anyone we encountered on our trip to the Smokies. They have a lot of the same flavors you're accustomed to, with a couple of exceptions. My personal favorite was the orange crème moonshine. I'm a sucker for dreamsicles and this flavor hit the spot. The prices are the same as the other moonshine spots but make sure to check out all of their merchandise. They've got some cool stuff, for sure. read more

The people serving samples and working the registers are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They have the best shirts around for big and tall folks. If you're looking for low proof flavored moonshine, they have plenty of it. My only complaint is that their only 100 proof clear shine is flavored "straight" and I just don't like it. The customer service here was above and beyond. Everyone was so nice! The ones we sampled were awesome but I only gave 4 stars because you could only sample their 6 best sellers. They had lots of other flavors i would have loved to try. I am just too picky of a drinker to buy a $30 bottle without trying it first. I did buy some of the ones I tried. My friends and i enjoyed our time there. Would reccomend it to anyone. Hidden inside the outlets, this place is killer for their salted caramel moonshine! I unfortunately forgot who served us but she did a great job even providing us some more when we weren't sure about some additional flavors that did not get included on the standard free set of moonshine. I think it was $25/each or $20 when you buy 4 or more (which we did). Again, salted caramel but we also purchased cinnamon, apple pie, and a few more. Great service. read more
