Their moonshine flavors and customer service were incredible. Multiple employees greeted us and encouraged us participate in their free tasting of 16 flavors! The tasting was quick and fun. We liked so many flavors and after much deliberation decided to purchase the apple pie, strawberry shortcake, and 2 orange creme. The bottles are $29.99 each and they had a buy 3 get 1 free deal going on. An employee stood ready to package the bottles and carry them to the counter. I greatly appreciated this as then I did not have to hold them when perusing the rest of the shop. In addition to moonshine they sell T-shirts, pour spouts, candles, and more. We visited Tanger on a Saturday morning over a holiday weekend. Parking was rough but understandable. Eventually we found a spot, but it took longer to leave Tanger than it did to park. Overall, we had a fun experience here and recommend this shop to others! read more

It was my birthday and we did the tasting. My favorite combo was the cake better and peach moonshine. It tasted like a good cobbler. Our bartender was funny and engaging especially since I turned "21" again. The location has several phot ops including their wall of shine. My husband and I came here to get some moonshine and wanted to sample a few flavors before committing. I presented my digital id and the worker wouldn't accept that. It's issued by our state government. Airports, police, government entities, stores etc accept this but this place doesn't. It clearly shows I'm of age. We're on vacation in a tourist city so trying to carry as little as possible. My husband tried like 3 and said he didn't like the flavor of any of them. They were about $30 each which is a bit steep imo. read more

So I've never gone to a bar, brewery or any other kind of adult beverage option inside of the MANY Tanger Outlets I've visited in my life! So I found it really interesting to find Smith Creek Moonshine located inside of this Tanger Outlet mall just awaiting to take great care of me while the females were doing their mandatory "shopping" behaviors. Considering this space is in an outlet mall they have done an amazing job on their interior build out and it is a really cool space! Like most of the moonshine joints in Pigeon forge you get FREE tastings here so that is simply AWESOME as otherwise you might get dragged along to "shop" and we all know moonshine is way better than that! They have great staff here and a cool location with some great drink options along with plenty of other non-booze options for the ladies to "shop" when they finally return to force you back into their nefarious plans. Overall this is the best experience I've ever had in a Tanger Outlet or any other outlet mall so far in my life!!! We went in for a tasting Friday night. That part was great. Our bar tender was awesome. We noticed they had great shirts. So Monday on our way out we stopped to get a few. That's where it went south. We were in there for about 10 minutes and never once were we even acknowledged. The workers looked right at us and then looked away. So we left. Kinda disappointed. read more

Decent place. Not as large of a moonshine selection as other distilleries in the area that we've visited. Flavors were okay but we've definitely had better. I really like the retail store actually. They offered great sauces, dips, jellies, candles, shirts, etc. Staff was friendly. And the moonshine tasting was free, so that's a bonus. read more

This is a little trading room in the outlet mall in Pigeon Forge. It is pretty new so it is still spotless. The 'shines they have here are pretty standard for the area - a lot of fruit and sweet ones and a couple standards. read more

I was trying to burn some time while my daughter checked out the Titanic exhibit in Pigeon Forge. It was tucked away in a corner at a outlet mall. We were created at the door by a singer singing and strumming away at at his guitar. The bartender was really entertaining and had a great memory. My favorite flavor was their peach and their coffee. Their bloody Mary was interesting as well. Their 4 for $80 was an amazing deal compared to other moonshine spots around the area. read more

We are all entitled to our own opinions right? Well... here is mines: Parking: 3 Location: 5 Customer Service: 3 Facility décor/cleanliness: 4 Gotta love the Tanger Outlets of TN! The outlets are so convenient in the middle of everything attractive in Sevierville. The parking stinks at the outlets as this is peak season plus there are tons of stores to choose from. I walked around the store twice and wasn't greeted :( I must say that the store was super clean though. They also had live music and the psalmist was amazing! 3 Stars Smith Creek. Never thought I'd find myself drinking moonshine in the old Under Armour outlet store next to Simply Southern...so there I was, with family in the old store feeling like you'd never know what it was. I don't drink but this moonshine location had a live band and allowed my sister in law to do some karaoke. SO WE HAD TO STOP! HAHAHA A nice, large store with plenty of selections of different types of moonshine. Not only do they have the liquor they so tastings, they have souvenirs, take home glasses and food dips and chips too and sauces and apparel! Plenty of staff working here to answer and questions. Plenty of parking at this outlet mall too! read more

Lemon line moonshine was my favorite. We utilized their 4 for $80 deal after doing the free taste testing. I will say that they should sell smaller sized jars for the ones we didn't get to taste test. Employees were nice overall, but one was rude and pushy about selling us every single flavor like dude, we have 4 jars already in our hands. Clearly you've already made this sell. read more

This place is located at the outlets center in the corner. They give you samples off all their shine and go down the list. A lot of yummy flavors like salted caramel and a cake flavor. If you like spicy bloody Mary's try theirs it's good. I also like their sauces. We always stop here. They also have a 4 bottle for $80 special on their shine. read more

I think this place gets overlooked because it's a bit hidden at Tanger outlets. You should definitely put this place on your list of sampling distilleries to visit while in pigeon forge. Not only is the space decorated so cool, the merchandise is pretty awesome too. Sampling is free and you get to try way more than ole Smokey has been offering lately. Employees are real friendly too. read more

Whoever decided to put a moonshine shop in the middle of an outlet mall deserves a handshake and a shot of whiskey. Well played. This was the last of all the Tennessee moonshine places I tried out, but the service was the best. You can sample all of their flavors for free, but of course, tip your bartender. I can't remember the name of the bartender giving the samples, but she, hands down, had the sweetest, funniest, customer service of anyone we encountered on our trip to the Smokies. They have a lot of the same flavors you're accustomed to, with a couple of exceptions. My personal favorite was the orange crème moonshine. I'm a sucker for dreamsicles and this flavor hit the spot. The prices are the same as the other moonshine spots but make sure to check out all of their merchandise. They've got some cool stuff, for sure. read more

The people serving samples and working the registers are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They have the best shirts around for big and tall folks. If you're looking for low proof flavored moonshine, they have plenty of it. My only complaint is that their only 100 proof clear shine is flavored "straight" and I just don't like it. They need a 100 proof clear, unflavored shine. read more

The customer service here was above and beyond. Everyone was so nice! The ones we sampled were awesome but I only gave 4 stars because you could only sample their 6 best sellers. They had lots of other flavors i would have loved to try. I am just too picky of a drinker to buy a $30 bottle without trying it first. I did buy some of the ones I tried. My friends and i enjoyed our time there. Would reccomend it to anyone. Also worth noting we tried a Moonshine place on the island....can't remember the name...I would not reccomend that one. read more

Hidden inside the outlets, this place is killer for their salted caramel moonshine! I unfortunately forgot who served us but she did a great job even providing us some more when we weren't sure about some additional flavors that did not get included on the standard free set of moonshine. I think it was $25/each or $20 when you buy 4 or more (which we did). Again, salted caramel but we also purchased cinnamon, apple pie, and a few more. Great service. read more

We chose the one where you get to try all of their available moonshines for $8 per person, so my mother and I decided to do that. The tasting itself felt very rushed and hard to keep up with. I wish they had taken a little more time to explain the flavors instead of just handing them out quickly and moving on. The employee helping us didn't seem very enthusiastic and gave off the impression that she didn't really want to be there that day. On a positive note, the inside of Ole Smoky Moonshine was very clean. They wiped down the counters after every tasting, which I appreciated. One downside for me was that you couldn't choose which flavors you wanted to sample -- they just served whatever was included in that tasting lineup. I felt that was a disadvantage because I don't want to buy something if I'm not sure I'll like it, and there were a few flavors I was hoping to try that either weren't available or just aren't carried at that location. I did enjoy the deals they had going on, which honestly caused us to buy more than we planned -- but the offers were too good to pass up. We ended up getting the cooler that came with two mini six-packs. I do wish we could've chosen the free sixth flavor ourselves, but I wasn't too upset since I did like the butter pecan. Still, it would've been nice to have more choice. When we went to check out, I still needed to pick three more flavors and asked for recommendations, but the employee didn't give much guidance and just said to get whatever I liked. I understand they were dealing with a very busy time, and she did mention that, but I wish there had been a little more enthusiasm and helpfulness overall. That said, the moonshine itself was good, and the tasting experience was enjoyable enough that I would definitely do it again. It convinced us to purchase moonshine that same day, which was a win. Overall, the experience was decent, but the staff interaction could have been much better.

They really take you to the hidden gems around Pigeon Forge and skip all of the overpriced and overcrowded places. I loved that we got to try liquor, wine, and moonshine so you really get a taste of everything Tennessee has to offer. The lunch that's included was fantastic! We actually came back the next day to grab lunch there again since it was so good. Michael & Jen were amazing! We loved just chatting with them and learning more about Pigeon Forge and spirits in general. They come prepared with pretty much everything you need and even have a wagon to pull all of your purchases in. I would 100% book this tour again!
