Once you pay the green light signals you to pull in. You pull up until the interior light turns red to stop. As you enter the under carriage gets a rinse. Once you stop the show begins with an assortment of sprays, soaps, wax and rinse. I spent too much time watching a countdown and then realized that's for the dryer... Overall I will be back. I did this wash at 8pm at night so if you need a late night wash, this is the spot. They also have bays for hand washing.

My partner and I took our three dogs to a nearby park and when they were done playing, they were STANKY! Lucky for us, this washing station wasn't far and it was just what we needed. You pay via credit card for a certain amount of minutes-then you can use whatever tool you want for that time. A hose with water, soap, dryer, etc. We were able to get all three of our dogs washed in about 20 minutes. We skipped the dryer since it was a nice day out and they would prefer to air dry than the loud dryer anyway. The only real challenge is that it gets pretty hot in there and when the sliding door is open for ventilation, the tiny dog can get through the slats and escape-which she did. If you're not outnumbered by dogs, you'll likely manage that just fine.

I have four vehicles and were provided 4 Basic Car Wash vouchers (no expiration date) during the past year. I was also told that the car wash could be redeemed in the future. I went to redeem a voucher today, and was told (by female employee) that they are no longer honoring the Car Wash voucher, effective as of June 2024. I explained that there is no expiration date on the voucher and part of my decision to purchase from them was because the car wash was included with the price I paid. I said that I won't be coming back if they don't honor their prior commitments (voucher). She said that is fine and that they expected to lose business due the policy change. I said that I was planning to bring another car in next week for an emission test, but will now go elsewhere. She said that she didn't care and wasn't go to lose her job by honoring a car wash voucher! Her unsympathetic attitude and lack of understanding reflected poorly on this business. I find it extremely odd and disappointing that a company would choose not to honor their prior commitment, especially from a loyal customer who has patronized them for the past 16-years with multiple vehicles per year. Integrity is the backbone of a successful business. Needless to say, I will do my business elsewhere.

There is NO signage saying ski racks are not allowed so totally bizarre that they'd just cancel it on me after years of membership. When I signed up there was nothing about removing ski racks. They do have signs saying that they are not responsible for after market parts so it literally makes no sense why I can install an after market anything and still go in but not an empty ski rack. And in a place somewhere as salty as salt lake with all the folks going up the canyons that have ski racks. Sounds like something that would make sense in Arizona, but not Utah. Stay away from this place. The irony of letting mud covered trucks in to ruin the paint of all the cars behind it, but not allowing someone to take on the liability of their own ski rack (breaking off from rust down the road) is palpable.

For years now, this high-pressure hand (wand) car wash venue has been our go-to site for getting…read morethe winter crud off our cars...and even for summer-time touch-ups. The place is typically busy (especially on weekends) with four available hand-wash bays, two automated drive-in car wash bays, and even a dog wash area. What I like about this are the engine and wheel/tire wash modes, the high-pressure soap, the tri-foaming horsehair brush, and the spot-free rinse options...and which all work great (usually...see below). Another feature is the card readers for automatic payment (installed years ago...yes), which allows for uninterrupted washing without having to fiddle with quarters. I returned there a week ago and found they had new card readers installed over the older ones. These new ones allow you to select an amount, then tap, swipe, or insert your credit/debit card for payment. The first time I used this new reader, it worked OK, and I was on my way. However, I was just there yesterday to wash my wife's minivan, and the reader would not work...I tapped, swiped, and inserted my debit card...but it kept erroring out. Luckily, "Anthony" (from Shiney Shell Car Wash Company, presumably the firm contacted to maintain the wash equipment for Pioneer) was there doing some maintenance work, and so I approached him with my problem. I demoed my card in the bay, and again, it was a no-go. Then Anthony immediately offered to put some time on the machine with a secret code, and off we went with a 15-minute wash cycle...free of charge! How sweet is that? We wrapped up and we thanked him...and then he thanked me for my service in the military (I was wearing an old flight suit with a name badge...what I wear when working around the house.) So, that was pretty cool, and kudos to Anthony for his help and gracious offer to cover my car wash yesterday afternoon (and Shiney Shell for hiring employees like Anthony). Oh, and if Shiney Shell can get the engine cleaner and tire cleaner detergents to the wand faster, I'd appreciate it. A week ago, when I cleaned the engine compartment on my Mazda sedan, it took upwards of 40 seconds of run time to get the yellow/green detergent to the wand after I paid...and squeezed the trigger. Four Stars for great wash options and customer service from Anthony...and it would have been 5 Stars if the car reader worked and the engine/tire cleaners arrived at the wand faster than 40 seconds!

The words "Grab the shop vac" shouldn't have to be said after bringing the car home from being detailed. It does overall look cleaner, but it's maybe the less noticeable areas that really need extra attention to detail (pun intended). In between the driver seat and passenger seat is still dirty. Underneath the back row of seats still had crumbs. I don't think they even looked in the back where the spare tire is kept.

I do not like to use brushes on my truck's paint but these guys have a touchless wash that has a…read moreforced air dryer. Most important for me is that I can fit my full size Ram truck that has a 2 inch leveling kit. It's a tight fit, but it fits. There are not many touch free car washes that can accommodate a 7 foot clear height. For a while I had a Quick Quack membership but the brushes leave small scratches and swilrs in the paint. Occasionally these guys have my preferred bay closed off but when I am able to go thru there is always copius amounts of suds and bubbles.
