Sausage with Cheese and Jalapenos Kolache

The flazed donuts are absolutely mouth watering delicious. So good I want another one now. I also enjoyed the jalapeno kolache. Didn't care too much for the boudain but that's just because I don't really like them so I can't hold that against them.

Drive-thr(o)u(gh), parking lot, palm trees, and, of course, donuts!

This donut chain, Shipley Do-Nuts, is one of those local Texas chain institutions that, despite not being off the charts for what's interesting about them, are good in a practical and repeatable way. On this list, I'd include Whataburger, H-E-B, and especially Buc-ee's. (Now Buc-ee's might be out of the ordinary in a stratospheric sort of way.) This Shipley is in a tidy store on NASA 1 Parkway, across from the Space Center tourist complex. There is ample parking. Make sure that you put your blinker on because, like major thoroughfares in burgeoning Florida cities, NASA 1 Parkway is another one of those racetracks with frisky drivers. I went in and bought two donuts for breakfast, and then had tea bags around that I poured hot water over. While I like Dunkin' (Donuts), their prices are a little higher than Shipley prices. It's nice to be able to walk out of a Shipley having paid under a dollar per donut, a psychological price point, with taxes included. The chocolate and strawberry donut I had were very good. They were gone in a flash. As for the service, they don't fuss over you, but the employee helping me was quick, given that there were other customers in both the store and the drive-through. There are many Shipley Do-Nuts (I don't get this play on words) in the greater H-town area. I would see one near a freeway, think about donuts, and thought I'd pass because the on-off would be tough ... and so would the neighborhood! So, then, why not get your Shipley fix in a clean store in a nice area? In that regard, this Shipley location fits the bill.

First time trying Shipley's. Good prices and the staff was friendly. Clean location with fast service. Donuts were decent. I was told to hit up this place while in Houston. Wifey and I enjoyed the chocolate glazed.

I first discovered Bonnie's Donuts online while searching " best cinnamon rolls in Houston " …read more I always leave my search open instead of just " near me " because I'll drive far out for delicious food. and lo and behold this is where I found that this place does 5lb Cinnamon Rolls I was super stoked to order this !! I first texted them the cost and how to place an order . The great thing is , they only need 1 day notice to make this ginormous cinnamon roll . Which is an amazing turn around time ! I placed the order on Jul 17th for pick on July 19th . They didn't require a deposit. Once I arrived on July 19th . It was 30 minutes till they closed and they were just the most sweetest people you could ever meet ! The place felt very inviting and cozy . So this is a family owned business . ( a couple with 1 kid ) Which made this experience even more better because I love supporting local business's! I know leaving great reviews and hearing how great of an experience everything was means so much to them . The lady ( Bonnie ) even threw in 2 free donuts for me having to wait . Which I had no problem with . She handed me my 5lb Cinnamon Roll and asked if I wanted the icing on top or on the top . I opted in for on the side since I knew it wasn't going to be eaten until later . She quickly told me the warm up instructions , which wasn't difficult at all ! What surprised me even more was the " icing on the side " was a tall styrofoam cup filled with icing .haha amazing ! Once the cinnamon roll was warmed up , it was phenomenal. It was not dry at all, and had a good soft texture. Overall , my experience was great ! They even offer giant donuts and giant apple fritters . I will defintely be reccomending this place to family and friends ! And ofcourse I will be back for another 5lb cinnamon roll !!

Relaxed friendly welcoming vibes. Artsy and fancy approachable foods as these edible pieces of art are an experience. They make gluten free bakery items too! Support local! This is truly small batch donut and an artisanal bakery. Pastry chefs busy at work behind the glass making donuts in small batches, glazing by hand, decorating with smiles and laughter. The kolaches also are on full display. There's breakfast burritos for those who don't want to go full throttle sweet carbs. We got; Iced Monkey chai (delish) ..not too sweet. Theres a nice hint of warn cinnamon and maybe a twinkle of cardamom? Its nice. Different than a la la land banana latte if you've had those so delete that comparison. **although if they made a creamy version of that here.. i wouldn't be made at that :) Classy AF brioche donut. Enough for a meal! Fresh whipped cream and an amazing fresh bright lemon curd. My teenager daughter destroyed it. Blueberry Lemon Old Fashion Not greasy, yet heavy in the hand like carrying a 1yr old baby. Moist, semi sweet and tart.. almost has a chew to it bc it is so fresh. I don't think ive ever had a donut as fresh as this one. Well done. My teen- mom we need to come back tomorrow. I agree. This is a great place to come and take home a 1/2 dozen for the family or friends in town to try the new flavors.. sort of like a voo doo donut experience or like a crumbl cookie vibe. We will be bringing some back to the ATX on sunday! Come support local. Read a book in their book nook, meet a friends and put away your phones for a face to face catch up. Theres couches, tables, a bar to watch the magic so come solo too. I noticed a baker in the background and a display case with assorted donuts. They all looked so yummy, I was mad they weren't offered on the website to online order but I knew this just meant I'd have to return soon. I saw pandan donuts, breakfast burritos, donut holes, s'mores donuts with teddy grahams swimming in a pool of chocolate and meringue... so many options. I ordered the "most ordered" iced summer fling and GF banana bread via DoorDash pick up. My order was ready within 4 minutes. The summer fling was an iced latte with cozy Cardamom and bright blueberry. I was shocked how good of a combination these flavor profiles were! The GF banana bread was heavenly! Dense, semi-moist, and not too sweet. No artificially flavored banana taste here! Highly recommend trying this and it's big enough to share. I went by again today and sadly my experience was not the same. I ordered my coffee online but wanted to pick out donuts so this had to be done in person since you're unable to select donuts on the app. When I walked in, I saw one lady on the coffee machine and 3 other employees working on donuts but they were just gossiping and carrying on loudly about someone. I stood and waited and waited. I tried to look over the donuts so that I'd be ready to order whenever someone did acknowledge me, but they weren't labeled like they were yesterday. Finally, I was approached and told them I ordered a coffee online and wanted to select a donut in person. My online order hadn't even been started at this time. I had to have her step down the case and show me which donuts were which as they weren't labeled today. I chose the "everything" and the "classy AF" Both were delicious. The "everything" had cream cheese and bagel seasoning ( a bit salty but still delicious) and the "classy af" had a fig jelly in the center. Sweet but not too sugary tasting. For my beverage, I got the brown bear latte extra hot. It was one of the best lattes I've had in a while. Velvety smooth and cinnamony! Overall, I really like the products they offer. Everything tastes amazing! I just know that if today's experience was my first, I'd be less likely to drive out of my way here. I am glad my first time was great.

I loved the taste. The service has always been the best. I walk in with a smile and am greeted with a smile. The ladies at the counter are patient and don't rush you when you're deciding.
