mango green tea with a mochi donut
    Patricia G.

Mochi donuts were great and I loved the mango green tea as well. The inside was very cute and chill. Wish they had more keychains or merch overall - I'm sure people would love to buy Totoro themed things (me being one of them) the service was not great. The girl who took my order was rushing me and being very rude. There was literally no one else in line behind me so that was very off putting. Once more people came in I saw she had the same attitude with everyone else - so disappointing.

If you're anywhere near Baybrook Mall and have even a hint of a sweet tooth, Totoro Mochi Donut is a must-visit. These aren't your average donuts--these are mochi-style, which means you get that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and that delightfully chewy, stretchy bite inside. Think hybrid between a donut and a soft rice cake--but better. I tried three flavors and each one delivered not only in taste, but also in presentation: Strawberry Pocky - The pink glaze is rich but not overly sweet, with a mellow fruity flavor that pairs beautifully with the crisp strawberry Pocky stick laid across the top. It's playful, photo-ready, and honestly a fun one to start with. Cookies & Cream - This was the most indulgent of the three. The crushed cookie crumbles on top add a nice contrast in texture to the soft mochi base. The glaze is creamy, with a subtle vanilla-oreo vibe that doesn't overpower. White Chocolate + Chocolate Drizzle + Star Sprinkles - This one felt festive and nostalgic, almost like a vanilla birthday cake remix. The red, white, and blue stars added crunch and charm, while the white glaze and chocolate drizzle gave it that extra richness. Each donut is a satisfying experience--not overly dense, just the right amount of sweetness, and incredibly fun to eat. You can tell they're made fresh, and they hold up well even after a few hours (if you can resist that long). Friendly staff, clean shop, and flavors that rotate regularly? This place is definitely going in my dessert rotation when I am in the area.

Been wanting to stop by here after trying a similar corn dog spot in Chinatown. First, this place is super cute! Love the esthetics. Lots of places for pics. Now onto the food! Ordered the brown sugar latte with boba, yum! The potato corn dog with cheese, also good. (Ate 1/2 and have other half to my neighbor that looooved it!) last, the chocolate with choco crispies on top. Wow, it was so so good! I'd go back for just that donut. Recommend!

The food was great, I really liked the blueberry mochi donut and the hot Cheetos corn dog cheese pull was amazing! Around 9$ The place looked a little old but it was fine. Staff was pretty nice. A lot of double seat sitting area and one big table you can pull chairs to

I was not familiar with mochi donuts, but I'm sold. The texture is light and airy. I loved all the different flavors. I had them for an after dinner dessert, and I was not disappointed. I would have them again. The service was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and chill.

Sweet potato corn dog, 1/2cheese 1/2 hot dog, hot Cheeto dog, taro milk tea

The food was amazing. The taro milk tea was not too sweet or too bitter. Just perfect. The sweet potato corn dog was so delish. 10/10 I need to go again

They have games you can play while waiting.

It was my first time to the establishment. I had the ramen corn dog, interesting, and peach tea. The service was what I expected, nothing out of the ordinary. The establishment had a nice atmosphere. Would love to try some of the pastry products. Maybe some day.

Totoro Mochi Donut is a wonderful cafe for Studio Ghibli fans everywhere! The staff are nice and they clearly love their work. The Totoro cafe is located in a busy area next to Baybrook Mall, yet this doesn't hurt their business. The menu mostly consists of tea, snacks and sweets. The prices are decent and the quality of their food makes up for the small menu. I loved their Korean corn dogs, milk tea, and of course their signature item, Pon de Ring donuts! The Totoro decor gives off a cozy and family friendly atmosphere. The staff strive to always keep the dining area clean. This is a cafe that appeals to all otakus like me! I wouldn't recommend the fries, they lack salt. Also their Elote fries were very disappointing. They were just covered in two different sauces and topped with parsley. Not spicy at all. Elotes is Mexican corn, a popular street food. The fries should've been covered in cheese, corn, lime, and spices instead! I'd love to bring my big brother here next time. Totoro Mochi Donut cafe is a delight.

Great food if you're in the mood for a snack! My sister and I love coming and getting a corndog each and a sweet treat to share! Very cute ambiance and friendly staff!

We went right after the Kpop demon hunters event because we wanted to try some korean snacks and this place did not disappoint! The food was made fresh to order and everything was delicious. The place is quaint and decorated really cute. Service was quick and accurate and staff was always cleaning. We tried the Dubai and cappuccino donuts and both were amazing. We also tried the hot cheeto and potato dogs and both were very good. For drinks we had the mango slush and the passion Mango green tea and they were great also. No complaints here everything was amazing.

Love this mochi donut/Korean hot dog spot in Webster. Very similar to mochinut but not quite as many flavor options. Really liked the churro and cookies and cream donuts and they also have bubble tea and solid coffee drinks. Service was excellent as well.

This place continues to be my family's top hot pot spot, even after going to many locations in the greater Houston area simply due to the soup bases being so incredibly strong and the selection of ingredients always being top notch. The only things I have food-wise about this place are the following: 1. I think the meat selection is often inconsistent. Sometimes I will order the number 3 and 4 and it'll be really good, and other times it will be hard to eat. 2. I think that the noodle selection is missing like a handmade and hand pulled noodle. The closest thing currently is the lo mein, which I really like, but I'm still wanting more options. 3. Often, the sauce stations will have some empty bottles on the side, which is often inconvenient since I tend to add most if not all to my sauce. Other than that, the service this time was much better and much more on top of it. I will most definitely head back here again and again. Like I said in the beginning, WE ARE SO BACK!

I did try all of the meats and it was a lot of food but every cut was great! Nice open restaurant with plenty of seating and arranged so you feel as if you have your own space. The only reason I dropped it by a star was that there was only one person waiting on a large portion of the guests. She really tried hard and this is not a knock on her. But even though it was a slow night she struggled to keep up at times. I would have given it 4.5 if I had the choice.

When it comes to tonkotsu ramen,…read morethe broth is the star of the show, and Jinya comes in swinging with a rich, flavorful pork broth that's hard to beat. They also have different spice levels, which I'm always glad to turn up the heat on. While the broth is up there near my favorites, it would be nice if they were more generous with the toppings. This particular restaurant itself is a bit on the small side though. Only 3 or 4 normal tables before they'll have to put you at the bar. Even then, there's not a lot of space, and things will get very crowded during peak hours.

Service was…read morefine, but I'm just not impressed with what should be the staple of a ramen restaurant--the ramen. Let's clap our hands for the pretty solid appetizers. Not at all mad about the gigantic, juicy, crunchy pieces of karaage or the reheated and dressed takoyaki (yes, wisdom teaches you things, and there's no way a restaurant can reproduce takoyaki [from scratch] that perfectly when they cant even maintain quality on their staple), but as happy as I am with the chicken, I will make the suggestion to bring back the spicy mayo and to keep the lemons on the plate. Although my partner didn't show it and said it was fine, it was obvious she was disappointed that she didn't receive a Demon Slayer soup spoon from ordering the monthly special since they were out of stock (waiter says there is no guarantee the spoons will restock). The promotion is set to end sometime in February, but I might take another long break from Jinya, again. I got the tried and true Jinya tonkotsu black, which was served with chewy (yes, chewy) pieces of pork chashu. I also noticed the wife only ate her toppings from her chicken yatai ramen and offered to trade her since I was mostly happy with mine. Wow, the monthly special, chicken yatai was super bland. I voiced my complaints about the yatai that was barely eaten and that the chashu was not rendered enough. He said he would let the manager know, who offered a complimentary ice cream mochi (ok, these werent bad). Ambiance: casual, loud with my type of music (pops, edm). The hard truth: not a place I could recommend to friends at this moment. Glad the owner is doing so well in this area and would highly recommend sister restaurants, but there's a glaring need for quality control here and maybe a bit more accountability is needed. Looks like I have some old pictures still uploaded, so I'll just go ahead and leave them in the post, but just take my word that the tonkotsu black still looks the same and the chicken and takoyaki are indeed as pretty as they are scrumptious.

The Bún Bò Huế lacked the traditional rich flavor I'm used to, but it tasted clean and wasn't oily. It also didn't include the traditional pork blood, but mixing in shrimp paste, lime, fish sauce, and chili helped bring it closer to the authentic flavor. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. We had to get up ourselves to ask for a water refill. While in the middle of eating, one of the girls brought our check and said, "Whenever you're ready, no rush." It felt like we were being rushed out while I was still actively eating and it wasn't busy. What was especially disappointing was that she never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to order anything else before closing out our tab. I had planned on ordering a drink after my meal, but after that experience, I decided I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service left a lot to be desired. Better hospitality would have made a big difference.
