This place is pathetic. What's happening to Shipleys? Unless you get there at zero dark thirty, you're going to get cold and dry donuts. And they close around 2pm... and there's nothing much left to choose from. And it's not just this Shipleys; as a brand, they've been in a steady decline in quality for a few years. Their kolaches are a good example; you've got to take a few bites before you get any meat. They're stingy with the meat, but raise their prices. It's NOT the same Shipleys we grew up with. read more

Super disappointing. Most of the time when I go, by 7:10-7:15 am!, they are already "sold out" of everything. They need to make more Do-Nuts because this happens more often than not. The employees are also NOT friendly at all. We need better for our small town! read more

The food is the best in town. Thankful for this place on a. Saturday morning. The service is fine and friendly. The restaurant is always clean and smells fresh. Very disappointed. Had to run by Discount Tire, so thought I'd take a dozen donuts into work to share. A dozen donuts was $12--higher than expected. Drive-thru worker was quick and just friendly enough, but the mixed dozen of donuts were all stale. They tasted at least a day old--icing was dry and cracked. Having a drive-thru was their only redeeming quality. Shipley's has never been my favorite--I grew up on and still LOVE Krispy Kreme--Texas or not. For the 23 years I've lived in Texas, Shipley's donuts have always been pretty good, just not my favorite. Wouldn't waste your time with this one. If you want fresh pastries, pay just a little more and get delicious from-scratch pastries from The Screaming Goat instead. I wish I had. read more

We used to go here once a week for a family treat. Not going again. Had an employee lie to my face about what he charged me. Some larger tall man. I am not new and what I ordered wasn't new, he was new. The only way he wanted to fix it was put my food back. I didn't want it wasted so I bought it but so long Shipleys. I'm not going to argue. So excited to see drive through so I didn't have to go inside to get my donuts. The drive through menu was incomplete, but I dismissed it thinking they would have a better one at the window. Never again will I use the driver through. I gave specific details on wanting the cream filled with the chocolate on top and a few others. I did not get what I asked for so I ended up having to find a mask and go inside and spend more money to get the ones that were absolutely wanted. Never again will I use the drive to through. The staff were polite but the smiles and head nods signaling the understood my order were fake because I didn't get what I asked for. read more

I've been here two times now and both times it was EXCELLENT! Honestly the best Shipley in town-- for some reason, their Apple fritters and cinnamon twists have a crispier outside than other Shipleys and it makes it so much more tasty. TERRIBLE, I ordered 2 kolaches one sausage and cheese and one ham and cheese and they forgot the sausage and cheese kolache so we told them and they gave us another ham and cheese. read more

Very clean place but the staff was extremely rude. I will make the drive to the wilderness oak location for sure! Won't be back here.
