Their noodle selection is amazing, and I love finding rare and hard-to-find items every time I visit. They carry just about every Asian spice and seasoning you can think of, along with so many delicious snacks and treats. The frozen food section is also excellent with tons of variety and great options to choose from. We especially love their selection of teas and coffees. There is plenty of parking. About a week ago, my son hit his head hard at the register and immediately began crying. As any parent would, my focus shifted entirely to comforting him. What stood out--and not in a good way--was the cashier's response. I noticed her exchange a look with the bagger that came across as annoyance and even threw in an eye roll. She didn't say a single word to check if my son was okay. There was no acknowledgment, no concern--just silence the entire check out process. To make matters more uncomfortable, my son happened to be holding a fidget spinner that he brought from home, and there seemed to be an assumption that he was attempting to walk off without paying for it. The lack of empathy felt disheartening. I understand that not everyone naturally responds with warmth, and of course, my child is not theirs. She was a young girl. Still, basic human kindness goes a long way. A simple "Is he okay?" would have made a meaningful difference, Even "hey here's some bravo bucks" I left as quickly as I could to care for my son, but looking back, I do wish I had taken a moment to speak with a manager.
