The owner was super friendly, giving us many different samples. We settled on the Chicken Pad Woosen. The food came fast and it was very fresh and tasty. The box it came in was deceptive. I thought the portion appeared small but it was packed. I ate and ate and the box still seemed full. When we finished, there was enough to take home for another meal. The food here is fantastic. My go-tos are the Tom Yum when it's cold out, the tofu summer rolls and mango sticky rice when it's hot, and the pineapple fried rice literally all the time. Moeun's menu is constantly evolving--she's always adding new dishes for the season or just because she can. My partner is obsessed with her Larb Chicken Tacos. Whatever you order, make sure you grab a fresh Thai tea to go with it. Service is unbeatable. Moeun is one of the kindest, funniest, most interesting people you'll ever meet. I'd come back just for the food, but seeing and chatting with her makes every visit that much better. The Thai teas were so creamy and refreshing .The pad Thai had such a deep flavor topped off with super fresh veggies with the crispest egg rolls to accompany it. The mango sticky rice was prepared to perfection and topped off with rich coconut cream and the sweetest softest mangos .The owner was so nice and the food is made to order, even waiting for online order drivers to be nearby to prepare your food in order for you to get the freshest food possible. What a treat!! I was looking for dining options nearby while visiting family and came across this food truck. The great ratings convinced me to try it! I was NOT disappointed. The pad Thai was delicious! It was a little different than I am used to but the lovely owner let me know when picking up that she cooks food the way she likes to eat it. The 'baby- blue food truck' stands out as you drive hwy 306 across from Rebecca Creek road and I always want to pop in! My neighbors and I celebrated my birthday there in crisp fall weather sitting at a couple of the picnic tables last year. Moune surprised me with a complimentary lunch, making the outing even more delightful. On your first visit, Moune prepares a sampling of many options so you know what you are ordering. A sincerely friendly lady turning out some really tasty food. The roll's enormous, love the peanut sauce. If I hadn't already busted my gut getting in half a giant cheeseburger and fries from next door this would have been a perfect adult lunch size. Maybe add a side salad. It is WAY too loud, and we could not imagine eating in such circumstances, so we left without trying the food. (The location is listed as 147 Jolie Rd, but this food truck is actually on 306, near Jolie...) Food trucks could, ideally, have a central spot, in a much better location, where customers can congregate, eat at a shared group of tables with shade, and enjoy an overall better atmosphere. We've seen this in some areas, and I think it should be the norm. If ever we try Thai 2 U, it will be strictly for to-go food to bring home and hopefully it will still be hot after our 18 minute drive. read more

I love Thai food and this place screams freshness. Food was absolutely delicious! We got the fried rice which was fresh topped with bell peppers, cucumber and other veggies. It has a nice amount of spice for flavor. If you think hot wings are spicy, then it might be a bit much for you. We also got the Pad Thai spring rolls that comes with a sauce which is to die for! Thai 2 U is located in the food truck park located on Brodie Lane. The owner, Ivori, was accommodating to gluten and msg free. The pad woon sen noodles were gluten free. Her pineapple fried rice was the only recipe in Austin that didn't give me tachycardia as it didn't contain msg like Thai Fresh and IM Thai. You can opt to order any of her dishes as a roll or entree. Her secret dessert menu included mango and sticky rice for $10, large enough to feed two people because she served the entire mango. Everything about this food truck is wonderful. The sisters that work the truck are both so kind and helpful. The food is always hot and made when you order it. If it's your first time there Moeun will make you a sample plate to help you decide. She is also happy to answer any questions and is really the sweetest person to talk to.
